KFC

3.5 really.
I do love the occasional fast food fried chicken. Sometimes I prefer Popeye’s, sometimes I like KFC, for the three or so times a year that I indulge. Popeye’s has crispier chicken, but I prefer the sides at KFC. Let’s not get too nerdy on the specifics, though. This place is usually staffed by high schoolers who can’t be too bothered to break their neck to serve you too quickly. I usually opt for a 2 piece chicken with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Not much has changed over the years except for the size of the chickens. They seem to be growing the chicken on a farm in Hobbitland, since they have progressively shrunk in size. Recently I had a chicken wing and I started to laugh at myself because I felt like Tom Hanks in Big taking dainty little bites out of a miniature piece of corn.
Still, dang good.

Door said they close at 10pm, it’s 9:19pm and they’re close???
Was craving kfc but I don’t know why I went back here… service was slow. Nobody was available to take orders. There were 3 people in front of me and no movement happened in the 5 minutes I waited. I will remember to not visit this KFC in the future.

I have to agree with most of the other reviews on this one. My family loves KFC. The $ 5 fill-​ups are an affordable solution for a family where everyone wants something different. This location is the closest to us so it’s where we end up when life gets in the way of making dinner at home. But we NEVER get all of our order. Either they didn’t throw the cookies in with the fill ups or put sporks in the bag. We get the wrong soda on occasion or they forget straws, dips, butter and honey. I’ve stopped using the drive-​thru so that I can fill my own sodas, load up on napkins and sporks and I check my order before I even take it off the counter. We’re probably still going to eat here, but maybe someone will read this and realize that this location is losing business because the employees can’t figure out orders.

This kfc just can’t figure it out… I mean don’t you just get the stuff delivered and then make it? … Almost every time j have been here my order has been incorrect. Missing things or I have even received the completely wrong meal… My most recent visit. The food was the horrible. Stale bread on the chicken littlest (I don’t mean eh does this bread taste stale… I mean when the person put it together I bet the they thought to themselves…“man this bread sucks…“
Also the popcorn chicken in the fa mouse bowl was torched… Dry burnt… Just a horrible experience. Which is pretty much every visit to this location.

The last two times I’ve been to KFC I ordered the leg and thigh pieces of chicken. I open up the box at home only to find leg and breasts. I’m beginning to wonder if the employees even know the difference between the parts of the chicken. Maybe if there’s a next time, I’ll have to double check my order which makes it so inconvenient.

I would not say this was the best or worst meal I’ve ever had. It was simple OK. I had a two piece original recipe chicken meal with coleslaw and a biscuit. I like that the original recipe is just crisp enough but not a ton of breading that masks the chicken. The biscuit had a nice flavor and was moist. The coleslaw was basically soup. I had one bite and thew it away. If you are craving quick fried chicken, this is a decent stop but I would skip the coleslaw!

This KFC never has anything ready. I wouldn’t come here, but when we’re busy and the kids want it … well let’s just say I end up back. I get told it will be 5 minutes because they are out of whatever I ask for. Then I end up waiting 15 – 20 minutes only to check my order and tell them it’s wrong. Maybe I’ve learned my lesson.

I feel weird writing a review for KFC, but I also feel I would be remiss if I did not write this review.
My buddy and I went into this KFC craving some super crispy, heart killing, greasy fried chicken! (Hey! We only live once!) I am not typically a KFC fan, and neither is my buddy. But you know, those cravings can get you to do stuff sometimes…
So we decide to walk in, why not. I have to tell you… we had the NICEST YOUNG MAN EVER help us! His name is GABE and this kid is something special.
Now I know it’s «fast food», but Del Taco was my first job at age 15 ½, and so I do have somewhat of a soft spot for what those folks go through dealing with me, and the CRAZY public on a daily basis. But GOOD HELP IS HARD TO FIND in any fast food establishment today, and GABE AT KFC IS WORTH MENTIONING!
But not only is Gabe worth mentioning, so is THE FOOD! OMG, IT WAS SOOOO GOOD!!! We both had the $ 5 meal things they have right now, where we got 2 pcs of chicken, a side, a biscuit, a cookie, and a drink! FABULOUS! Gabe made sure TO ASK if we needed any additional condiments (who EVER asks that anymore?!), when he delivered the food to our table. The food was soooo good and it was the best $ 10 we’ve spent on food/​dining in a LONG TIME! THANK YOU, GABE, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK, KIDDO! :)
PS — I went back by myself a few weeks later; Gabe was not at the register but he was there. He TOTALLY recognized me! I was shocked at that, actually. The kid just continues to impress! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, GABE!!!

This place is a joke. I am here when people come in and order Chiken Pot Pies and they are out and the people are mad. Well it happened to me today and I had already ordered and paid and sit down. I asked «why dont you take down the sign on the entry door» when you run out. I was just met by blank stares. I wonder why they always have new employees?

Ok this KFC can cook some chicken which we all know is rare in some cities. Lately I have been ordering the chicken littles. The staff is always friendly in the drive thru (I never go in) and they are pretty fast! The only time I have to wait is when I order 25 chicken little’s which is understandable. I am from Wisconsin where KFC is delicious and this KFC is just as good in Reno so I guess I’ll see you again tomorrow guys! Thanks!

For a fast food place I find myself waiting for food every time we come here. They never have chicken strips or potato wedges ready. Last time I was here they told me the wait was 20 minutes. I ended up driving straight through the pick up line and skipping the KFC. I can get chicken strips in any restaurant in town faster than that. It’s a constant disappointment which is to bad considering the food (especially for kids) is pretty good.

Service is horrible.
They forget items. When you return, they make you a new meal and forget more items…
Owner won’t take the time to return a phone call and refuses a refund.
