I was unhappy with the sandwiches Jimmy John’s put out. Agree the are fast, maybe a little too fast! I want a good bread when I make a sandwich and theirs wasn’t. Two stars because of fresh ingredients.

I kept hearing rave reviews about Jimmy John’s, and finally decided to try it out myself. What a disappointment! They hardly put any meat on their sandwiches! It’s just a gigantic chunk of bread, an overload of lettuce, and a few tiny pieces of meat & cheese. I have no idea why people like this place. On my first visit I ordered the«Giant» Tuna Club. In the online menu picture, it’s filled to the brim with deliciousness. In reality, it had about 3 tablespoons of tuna that only filled the center portion of the bread, and two tiny pieces of cheese, all buried by a ridiculous heap of lettuce. I was furious that I’d wasted $ 9 on this garbage! I probably would never have gone back, but for the fact that I was stuck at work without a car one day & Jimmy’s delivers. This time I tried the Bootlegger Club. Again, a few small pieces of meat, and a massive overload of veggies. In comparison, I’ve eaten at Subway, Port of Subs & Beach Hut Deli very often, and you get your money’s worth. They stuff the sandwiches to the brim with fresh ingredients. I will never eat at Jimmy’s again, it’s like throwing money into the trash can. There is nothing special about their sandwiches, although the bread was fresh and tasted good and at least they were fast. Otherwise, I really can’t figure out why so many people like this restaurant! Maybe I’ve just gotten unlucky and they were in a big rush or short on ingredients? Who knows, but I don’t want to waste more money to find out.

We came home from a long day at work and didn’t feel like cooking. Tired of pizza we tried Jimmy John’s delivery. We ordered two big yummy subs that were delicious and it only took 17 minutes from ordering to our door! Will definitely be coming back, we are now loyal Jimmy John patrons! Thank you!

The bread was so hard it cut my lip. This is the second time in a few weeks I’ve gone in for a what used to be a Consistent franchise simple sandwich. This is a terrible one — and really do you have ask for a bag and to have it cut. I won’t be going back and should

YOUMAYASWELLGOTOPORTOFSUBS!!! This might be a mistake so I’ll try them once more, BUT if this is their new way to save money!!! FORGETIT!

Got Jimmy John’s while helping on a move. I ordered a #5 Vito for just over $ 5 and I blinked and my sandwich was ready. They do a solid sandwich for a great price, and it tasted delicious. Nothing tastes like a Jimmy Johns, they got a lock on the fast and delicious sandwiches, and I am 100% a FAN for LIFE!

I never thought I could love a sub shop as much as I love Jimmy John’s. Subway and Togo’s can’t even hold a candle to Jimmy John’s. The food is fresh, and the bread tastes like bread I would make at home. Super quick service, and the shop is squeaky clean. One day I actually contemplated going to JJ’s for lunch and dinner, it is that good. Their chips will rock your socks off.

I’ve never had bad customer service here, the sandwiches are just basic cold subs but they are good and they are made super quick.

Been in about 6 – 8 times. Every time worst customer service. Never get the same employee but doesn’t matter. Rude EVERYSINGLE time. Won’t be visiting this location again. And I hear I’m not the only one with this kind of experience there. If you hate your job there don’t rub it off on customers … Idiots

I give it three stars because of the speed when I order it from work. I usually get a decent sandwich but I only order one kind so I know what to expect. However, the service has gone down a lot. When you order they are nice on the phone, usually nice when they bring it. But lately they are not of either nice on the phone and when they get there they haven’t been prepared to give change. The first time I let it go. The second time I was annoyed because it’s a business and you should be prepared to give the exact change. I called the store and let them know that it’s unprofessional first of all second I don’t care if it’s 25c or 85c be fricken prepared. Your pockets need to jingle if your going to deliver. The sandwiches were getting sloppy to. The supposed manager who sounded as young as my18 year old son didn’t have much to say. My company orders there quite often so I’m thinking we’re going elsewhere for our quicky sandos. Subway is super close and they have way more options to order from for about the same price.

Long over due review !!! I just had another sub tonight and wow wow wow !! Love this place ! I ordered the Italian giant club sandwich for 7.75 it’s my favorite !! All the condiments are fresh, the service is super speedy and they give you plenty of meat. Placing my order online is so simple, I can add extra mayo, extra oil and vinegar, no onions, however i want it and they bring me the sandwich that I order !! A+++ all the way !!

I live in East Sparks by Vista Blvd. We dont have a Jimmy Johns out here. We have Mr. Pickles(only the best shop in the WORLD), Subway, My Favorite Muffin and Port of Subs. I have wanted to try Jimmy Johns for while since I’m a huge fan of trying new places and writing reviews. I also enter new eateries with great excitment hoping that I will find my next gem. The place is cute enough — inviting and clean with bright colors. The employee behind the counter was very nice and patiently waited while made our decisions. They have three main menus for thier sandwhiches. The first is the«mini» which is a regular sandwhich without veggies — presumably for kids. The second is the one that really caught my eye — 8 inches for $ 5.35. Considering you can’t even get a $ 5.00 footlong at Subway anymore I thought this to be a decent deal. The other menu is also the same sandwhiches but with double meat and cheese($ 3.00) more. I ordered off the $ 5.35 menu. My son got the Roast Beef, and my husband and I opted for the #5(an Italian Sub) while my daughter did one of the«mini» ones. The order was ready fast enough but I quickly noticed why they were only $ 5.35 each. They were the thinest I’ve ever seen. Seriously probably ½ the width of Subway/Port of Subs. I stopped on the way home and bought chips to supplement the meal for the men of the house and they were both still hungry. The sandwhich itself was not anything special — very dry. I dont know if they actually put the Italian dressing on it. Nobody was impressed. The only automatic veggies are onions and tomato. You have to pay extra for peppers. I dont know if they offer lettuce or olives or pickles etc., For the money I’m going to stick with Mr. Pickles — for $ 3.00 more you get a huge filling and super tasty sandwhich. For $ 5.35 — I’d rather go to Subway or Port of Subs — which is pretty depressing. Bummer.

Oh man, I love Jimmy John’s. I am a huge fan of sandwiches and theirs are most excellent. The bread is that perfect soft but chewy texture. The lettuce is nice and crisp and they don’t skimp on it, which I like. Delicious meats, all of them… And then add hot peppers. Just trust me, do it. They’re not that hot but they are vinegary and so yummy! And they’re so fast that I’m usually not done putting my change away before my sandwich is ready. And it’s right near my house so it’s the perfect quick stop on the way home from work after a long shift when I don’t feel like cooking.

I don’t know about you, but I love consistency, and I love a good sandwich too! And at Jimmy John’s, I get both every time! It consistently takes me 1.5−2 minutes to place my order, and at Jimmy John’s that’s a long time. Now hear me out… I have to first decide on a sandwich, which is typically a #11(Ham, Turkey, and Provolone) with onions or an Italian Nightclub. Then I need to decide if I want to pay the extra .55 cents to add the hot peppers that day, both sandwiches are better with them for sure but sometimes I’m cheap. And then I need to decide if I want chips and a drink, just chips, just a drink, or none of the above that day. It’s tough every single time I walk through those doors. I don’t know why I subject myself to that torture so often, but I do, and I survive. Since it takes me so long to order, this is the home of the freakishly fast sub makers, and I’m always happy to know that my delicious sandwich, consistently made each time, is ready almost before I’ve finished paying at the register! So all in all, it might take all of 3 minutes to get a sandwich and pay at Jimmy John’s, and to me, that’s amazing.

Jimmy John’s is one of my favorite sandwich places(I lived off of them in college) and I was so shocked to see the sign for this new location. I drive past this shopping center every day and I can’t believe that it took me two weeks to notice that there was a Jimmy John’s so close to my house(finally!) This location is a pretty typical Jimmy John’s and extremely quick just like the rest of them. It could only be better if they had the drive through like the one on North Carson Street. We got our sandwiches to go so I don’t have much more to say about the location. I got the #10 Beach Club(this used to come with sprouts, but I guess not anymore. I know there was some sprout ordeal, so maybe that’s why). I think they skipped the avocado spread, but other than that it was up to par. My boyfriend got the #16 Club Lulu because BACON. No complaints there. Anyway, I’m really happy about this new location and having another food option in the area(especially one that delivers).

«Subs so fast you’ll freak!» Ok, so I didn’t exactly freak, but it was pretty cool ordering my sandwich and then hearing my number before I could readjust my wallet in my purse, and I don’t take very long putting my money away. I saw the signs, saw the people, and kept going through their doors before they were ready for business. Then, when I figured they were definitely open, I wasn’t in the mood for a sandwich. Today was a good day to be up for a roast beef sub and check out Jimmy John’s newest location in the Reno area. So, everything was clean when I walked in, lots of red neon lights, and signs with notable quips. Even a table top was decked out with Jimmy John’s Don’t’s. There are currently plenty of people behind the counter, as they are trying to support any kind of customer rush that might bombard them. One of them said hello to me when I entered the doorway. For the moment I went in, there were only three other people in front of me, and the wait was very brief. I requested my favorite, #10 Hunter’s Club because I’m a roast beef fiend. I inquired about their punch cards, and the teenage guy behind the register straight forwardly said no, they’re not doing them. He seemed to be all business, not exactly customer service. Note: I haven’t been to a Jimmy John’s in a while, so I don’t know if this is usual practice, but instead of giving you a receipt right away at the register, it comes attached to your sandwich. When I went to the pick up side to grab my sub, there were two sandwiches on the counter. I double checked with one of the sandwich makers to assure I picked up the correct one. He seemed friendly when he affirmed that I was grabbing my order. I took my quick lunch home, and unwrapped the simple deliciousness on my lap while browsing my laptop. Everything seemed consistent in appearance, quality and taste as compared to all of my previous visits. It’s great to have this«fast food» joint actually be fast food, a little closer to my front door, with the option to order online and have it delivered, or just pop back in for more!
