JJ’s Cleaners

First time using JJ’s and had a great experience! I got a text letting me know my dress was ready and it was two days sooner than expected! I know that might not be the norm but I got more than I asked for so thanks JJ’s!

Here’s the deal, any cleaning company can wash your clothes. Where companies differentiate themselves is through customer service, and no one’s is better than JJ’s. They respond quickly to queries, send reminders, and give just enough personal contact to be efficient but not so much that you wish they’d leave you the heck alone. No one likes doing their own laundry – if you do you’re a weirdo – so hire it out. Hire JJ’s. Now.

Being new to the area I went to Unilocal to find a dry cleaners, so I chose JJ Cleaners based on reviews. Staff was very friendly and helpful. So I get my bill and was very surprised on how expensive it cost for my coats and got charged extra for branded coats. The clerk said they were under new management and had a price change, I told her that I have never paid that much for my coats for dry cleaning and they were double from I was used to paying, this change will cost them my bussiness. I will not be back!

Wow, I can’t say how impressed I am by these folks and new management at JJ’s Cleaners. I lived in Reno for a brief stint of 8 months from 2010 – 2011 and had to move out of state quickly in 2011. I completely forgot I had left a bunch of clothes at the cleaners. The prior management never called me to say I had clothes left, or pick them up or we’re donating them, etc. I figured they were gone forever because I couldn’t remember the name of the cleaners.
A month ago — 4.5 years later — I received a call from Jonathan at JJ’s Cleaners stating they still had my clothes and would like to send them to me. First I was a little nervous about the bill as I had 9 items, plus whatever the cost would be to have them shipped to me. Not only was my dry cleaning bill only $ 55, they paid for the shipping to be sent all the way from Reno to my new location in Charlotte, NC.
I always liked these cleaners because they did a good job and they were convenient, but I’ve never been more impressed with a company. I wish I could continue giving them my business. Jonathan was a pleasure and so kind and not only am I delighted to have my clothes back, it’s like I have brand new clothes!

I don’t see myself getting too worked up or excited over dry cleaning. However, this place has become my go-​to. The employees are friendly and always ask me if I need my clothes back by a certain day. It’s a funny question because I usually forget or get too busy and don’t pick my stuff up for weeks!
Everything always looks great — I’ve never had issues with poor service or poor cleaning. I even took a jacket in with a rip on a seam, and they stitched it up for me because I’m not talented enough to do stuff like that on my own!

I hate giving 1 star but these guys deserve it unfortunately. I’ve given them a few chances and every time there seems to be something wrong with my order. First they shrunk my favorite zip up. Rookie move from a dry cleaners and I can’t stress enough about no creases but EVERY time my jeans have creases. Over giving them chances.

They have always done a great job, usually finishing our order by next day. Friendly staff, clean location. Conveniently located next to Smith’s who just put a convenient gas station in.
