When I am craving some quick and easy chinese food, this is where I come, it also helps that my daughter likes the orange chicken here too. There is nothing fancy about this place, and the food is generic. I do like the noodles and the fried won tons. Since they do have coupons in the«coupon books» the kids sell at the schools we can both enjoy a meal for less than $ 10.

I never go here because I always have bad experience here and the food always just sits out and is gross went in there today at 545 and they were slammed. One person serving the food and the other on register and the«cooks» in the bath chit chatting and hanging out while they needed help obviously not caring. Went to get a drink and no ice in the machines and all the soda was flat. Never again will I eat here!!!

Fast, cheap and easy when at work to order and pick up. I would have to say as far as fast food goes this is my favorite joint. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Sometimes at lunch it’s helpful to place the order online and pick it up instead of standing in the extremely long line at this location. Good: As stated above, Fast, cheep, and easy. Cons: very very very long line @ lunch. Overall always wanting Panda, whenever I’m working a need something to keep me going or someone asks what to have for lunch I always Yell PANDA!!!

Love Panda Express! Chow Mein is always good. Never had problems here. Love their tea and green bean chicken. The line gets long at this location but there is plenty of parking and service is fast.

Wow line out the door and only four pieces of shrimp in the kids meal which I payed an additional $.75 for. When I asked for more she said that’s all we get. Too expensive for kids meal no thanks.

So the name of this joint is Panda Express and the serve ‘Gourmet Chinese Food’. Let’s be clear — nothing served in a cafeteria style line is gourmet. Let’s also be clear about what this really is… A fast way to get Americanised Chinese-ish food very quickly. Now that we are clear — let’s talk about my experience. I walked in the door and right to the ordering line. I was ushered through my choices and in what seemed like 7 seconds had my lunch and was waiting for the cashier. The food was okay. Like I said, NOT gourmet. It was however, hot and served on a plate. I’m not sure of the health benefits of all the breading and frying, but I did opt for mixed veggies in lieu of rice or noodles. In summary, it was okay. It filled my gut and didn’t leave a nasty after taste. It wasn’t great, the place wasn’t spotless… You know — I got exactly what I paid for. I’ll go back, but it’s not high on my list.

I prefer the one on Kietke. I went here because I went to see a movie nearby and was hungry so I ordered online. When I went they said they didn’t receive my prepaid order. When I finally got it I realized that they didn’t give me any fortune cookies and the broccoli beef was mainly broccoli and the beef had a weird texture and taste to it. I also asked for Splenda for my tea and they said they had no artificial sweetener. Nothing. No Splenda, Equal, Sweet and Low, nothing. I’ll stick to the other PE. The best one in Reno is actually at UNR imo.

3.5 Before heading to the movies, my friend says abruptly, «I’m hungry and craving Panda Express!» I make a Margaret Cho face of horror(kudos if you get what I mean.) «Really? Isn’t Panda Express… bad?» I ask. «It’s the McDonald’s of Chinese food — fast, cheap and easy,» she says. So off we go to break my Panda Express virginity. I opt for the 2-item combo and get honey walnut shrimp(an extra $ 1.25) and teriyaki chicken with white rice — total came to about $ 7 or $ 8. It was actually quite okay. And she was right, it was fast, cheap and easy. I try not to drink soda when I eat out, so I saved $ by just getting water — that’s not part of the combo. So yes, if I need to eat and go in 15 minutes, this isn’t bad.

For the most part, major food chains like Panda Express are fairly consistent in quality. However, every time I have eaten at this one the food tastes odd and sometimes even upsets my stomach. The service is friendly but this location just has bad food to offer.

Now that I think about it, I ear a lot of Panda Express. If you get the chicken and beans or beef and broccoli over veggies, you can still have room for ice cream later:). The staff has always been friendly each time I have been there and the kitchen seems very clean.

Very impressed with the improvements made here. The store is more modern and chic, the food is fresh, and everything tastes good. For a while, this place seemed to go down hill. The new honey sesame chicken is awesome!

I walked in, never got acknowledged, all employees were too busy attending other customers, which I completely understand but a simple«we’ll be right with you» would have sufficed. Poor customer service.

I’ve always had good service and hot fresh food at lunch. For a fast food restaurant it’s good. If you want a healthy option sub the rice and noodles for a veggie bowl with chicken teriyaki.

Came in at 2:15 pm for lunch expecting no problems, but the food was not stocked they were out of everything… poor service and the food tasted like it has been sitting out for hours… unless if you just looking for just fries rice then this is your spot otherwise don’t cone because they have no food ready!

The good: The folks dishing up were very organized and friendly and this is not usual for a lot of their stores. The Meh: The food was not even up to panda express standards. No distinct flavours with any of the choices and the soup was pretty much ilke dishwater. I had never been to this store before and I guess I can continue to drive on past in the future.

Usually a big fan of Panda Express in general, but this location is constantly a major let-down. They don’t keep the food fresh, they have more than their fair share of inconsiderate employees, and are overall of the lowest quality. Today’s fail: drove 45 minutes in snow and ice to get your standard orange chicken. Upon arriving, I was saddened to see they barely had half an entrée remaining, everything was picked over, and they refused to cook more even though they were still within business hours. They decided to shut the kitchen down early, leaving a handful of people disappointed that took the time to venture there. This was just today’s problem with this location. Their chefs are inconsistent and you can expect your food to be overcooked 50% of the time. If you want a much better Panda location, try the one at the University. They won’t let you down like they will here.

This panda express is very low quality on flavor and make of the food here. I literally went to get the angus steak side with the orange chicken and the angus steak was very red and not cook well enough. Very gross in flavor can not believe they serve food like this. If you want nasty chinese food come here

I visited this location on February 27, 2011. I ordered a three item, one side meal. For the amount of food, and its quality, the price is reasonable. It is especially reasonable if you consider the prices of other fast food establishments. The fried rice was good as long as it was warm. The Kobari beef and orange chicken were excellent. The Kung Pao chicken was disappointing compared to other Panda Express locations. It had no taste of its own apart from the hot peppers. The service was very good, and they kept the food areas full. I went here at 4:30pm and the place was clean. I would recommend this place for everything except the Kung Pao chicken.
