This place was great! My honey and I were waiting for our car to get washed next door so we popped in for a late lunch. We were greeted immediately and everyone was super nice. We got hot wings, fries and a pepperoni pizza(goodbye New Years resolution) and everything was really good. The wings were EXCELLENT Also, they have gluten free pizza crust! Yay celiac disease ridden patrons! I’ll definitely be back

The wife and I had a craving for a pizza pie didn’t know where to go and stumbled upon this joint and found it to have great pizza! Their house salad was better than most specialty salads. The guys were great and they have a classic stand up video game! Cool place to hang with amazing food. Definitely coming back again!

This pizza restaurant is GREAT! Just had a large half BBQ chicken & half Hawaiian pizza with an order of Hot Honey Mustard wings. Love the pizza & crust, cooked perfectly as were the wings. The atmosphere is a modern blend of pizza, darts, bar, & big screen TV’s with sports games. Makes a great date location.

I don’t see what the hype is about, I came here to order to go and It was packed with people playing darts I mean you couldn’t even walk nor did people bother to get out of the way even when I said excuse me. oddly enough no one seemed to be eating every table was full inside and a few outside but all I saw was people drinking no food. anyways ordered a Hawaiian pizza and hot wings pizza is overrated it reminds me of the pizza at the buffet in casino but overrated. the wings even though we’re not what I considered hot they did have a bit of a kick to them. if I ever comeback it’ll be for wings only no pizza I’d rather head over to semenzas for good wings and pizza

I have been there several times for lunch for sandwiches. Their Italian Sausage Sub is really really good. What makes it different is that they cut the sausage and vegetables into small pieces, so the sandwich is easy to eat and flavorful. Trust me go get one! Can’t speak for their pizza, haven’t tried it. Wings and fries are good.

We ran into some folks who are total foodies who recommended Paulie’s as authentic NY pizza, so we had to go to try it out. If you love a thin crust pizza, this is the place for you. All the toppings tasted really fresh, the crust was crisp perfection, the sauce is slightly sweet which complements the salty toppings(we had black olives, ham and pineapple) very well. Everyone was very friendly, and Paulie himself came by out table to ask if we were enjoying our food. You can tell the food is made with love; it just has that extra special flavor. We’ll be going back for more and recommending the pizza to friends!

Terrible. Seriously. I came here with mom from out of town and is as locals to try out somewhere that had good reviews. It is so hard to find good NY pizza in Reno, so we were so excited to give this a chance and find a new place to live. That was definitely not the case. The staff started off as friendly, and that was great. We even ordered ahead because we have the kids with us and the little one does not like to sit for too long. So we get wings and a pizza with pepperoni, pretty standard stuff from the NY places I haunted before I moved to Reno. The wings come out and we made sure to order them dry so that they wouldn’t get mushy and got the sauce in the side. The wings were done well, but most definitely not the best wings, so they must save those for the wing cook off. They went down fine, but they were kinda gooey underneath the surface and weren’t too meaty. But that was not the bad part. The bad part was the pizza. The pizza had crust akin to cardboard and was not even close to looking not feeling like any NY pizza I’ve seen. The closest taste and look to this is a Tony’s Pizza from the freezer section. The pepperoni on this thing was an absolute joke as well. They had to have a diameter of less than half an inch, and were the tiny mini pepperonis that are found for children in the supermarket. They covered barely any surface area and were quite scarce. Then there was the sauce. The grossest, sweetest sauce I have ever encountered. Spaghetti-os know what they are doing better than this. Tastes like some fell asleep with a sugar dispenser while mixing the batch of prego they just popped open. And if that wasn’t enough, they charged more for this than any pizza place I have seen in town beside the gourmet places. Over $ 20 for a sub-par pizza with nonexistent toppings and which no one; not even my kids who eat everything, would eat. DONTGOHERE!

Can not really see the hype in this place nor can I really see why I bookmarked this place in the first place. I came here for a last minute invitation with my friend and his family. They already ordered and got a regular pepperoni pizza and honey bbq wings. Now i am not exactly the biggest pizza fan but i am always open to trying authentic made pizzas. When I tried their pizza, this place was definitely not on my list of pizza places for when I want pizza. It tasted like any other little caesars to me. And if we’re being honest here I would have to say i would get pizza hut any day over this. I just was not feeling the pizza what so ever. I ended up only eating half of one slice. Onto the chicken wings, they were decent but were kind of cold. Not room temperature and not frozen cold but just not that perfect chicken wing temperature. Overall of my experience with this place, I just was not a big fan and gave me another reason to dislike pizza a little more. Maybe i’ll have to order another pizza that seems pleasant but I highly doubt this place will see me often.

I LOVE the wings… the bar is ALWAYS slammin… the pizza is good… but the service is hard to deal with. You’ve got to set aside 45 min to an hour to get 1 pizza… without fail… Paulie is a great guy and he truly has put his heart and soul into this restaurant… but tonight was the nail in the coffin for my wife and I. When they can fix the service times, then we might come back.

Ugh so disappointed Aye their wings at the wing festival for 4th of July and LOVED their hot mustard wings. So I ordered for delivery today and they COMPLETELY burned my chicken fingers. Good thing I got wings also or I would go hungry. I’m talking totally inedible food. won’t be ordering from them again. Bummer.

I haven’t been to their actual store location, but I tried their wings at the«Biggest Little City Wing Fest» and I must say, best wings I’ve had in the Biggest Little City(or ever, actually)! I love the creative flavors! I would have never thought that caramel salt would go with wings — but they do! They definitely deserve their prize and accolades, and so will definitely check out their store location before I leave this charming, little city.

The people are very, very nice. But the food quality is absolutely terrible. We ordered«cheesy garlic bread» and it was basically stale bread drenched in butter with a little unmelted cheese on top. So awful. For pizza, we got a large pepperoni pizza with garlic. First, the crust was dough-y; clearly not cooked thoroughly. Second, the sauce was just bad. I can’t pinpoint it but it’s very sweet and thick? Not sure. Overall, one of the worst pizza places we’ve tried in Reno unfortunately. Another thing, sides of ranch were 50¢ each. Which is fine… except for three of the four were only a quarter of the way full!!! $ 31 for this was absolutely ridiculous. I would have much rather gone to Little Caesars and ate that cardboard for $ 5. Im not sure where the 4 star rating came from. Definitely will not be going back.

Man I struggle with this place and I want them to succeed so I go back, but I think I’m done for good this time. Everytime I eat there I get a messed up stomach and have to race to the bathroom. The pizza sauce is just too sweet and the pizza is never cooked all the way through. Then on the other hand the wings and fingers have been fried so bad they taste terrible no matter what sauce you put on them. Get them plain and you can see clearly that they are not cleaning the grease frequently enough in the fryer(hence the messed up stomach I think), they are trying to stretch a dime and cut corners everywhere. We went in last week and it was like a disco night. Just one more gimmick after another. Make good consistent and fresh food and you won’t have to have disco night, the rest just sort of takes care of itself. Obviously they are new to the restaurant world as you can tell by the lack of business acumen. Failure to redeem valid coupons etc. Good luck as I like the folks, but when you added disco night and cut corners on quality food you jumped the shark for me.

Excellent pizza! Sauce is perfect with the spiceness of the pepperoni. We ordered 18″ pizza with pepperoni and seasoned ground beef. There could have been more beef but what I tasted was great. Next time will try either pizza with meatballs or meatball sub. Fabulous cistomer service! Cold beer and pizza, perfect dinner

This is a review where the number of stars just doesn’t tell the story. I didn’t think the food was that great, but the people are very friendly. I visited twice, about six months apart. I’m no Buffalo expert, so I can’t tell you if it’s authentic or not. I can just tell you how I liked it or didn’t. I didn’t like the pizza very much. The crust is tasty, but falls apart in the middle, almost if it wasn’t baked enough. The sauce is OK, adequate but not rave-inducing. The pepperoni was thin, but singed on the tips, as pepperoni slices should be. The medium fingers were deep fried, with a crispy crust. The chicken was tasty. To me, the crust tasted a little burned, as if the oil was used a little too long and needed changing. The medium wings were crispy — excellent! The sauce for both the fingers and wings was somewhat bland. I was looking for a little more vinegary taste. The calzone wasn’t very good. The crust was OK, but the insides(cheese, pepperoni, sauce) were dull. Here’s the people review: owners Paulie and Jen, and counterman Zack were all very friendly. I really want them to do well. On both visits, there was something wrong with the order, or the way it was rung up. Paulie took care of it, but it formed my opinion of their business acumen. I tried to use a Sweet Deals gift certificate from KKOH(Incentrev). Paulie said he wouldn’t honor it, but would give me credit for what I paid for it. He said they weren’t selling fast enough, so Incentrev discounted them, practically giving them away(80% off retail, I think). He didn’t get anything out of it, so basically he was giving away free food. I don’t blame him, but it was a surprise. The bottom line is they are great people people, but don’t seem to be great business people. The food isn’t bad, but I wasn’t thrilled, even at discounted prices.

No, just no. The pizza we ordered was I believe a Paulie special. IT is a decent size but it has the most soggy, limp crust I have ever had on pizza. It had no structure what so ever. Picking it up, it just flopped all over the place. The sauce was much too sweet for my liking but I could have dealt with that if it were not flopping all over the place. We gave it away to someone who does not mind the flop. I really am getting close to never ordering a pizza again.

We love white pizza, but every place in town that has served white pizza eventually disappears. I hope this isn’t the case with Paulie’s, because they do a really fantastic thin crust white pizza that absolutely hits the spot. So much so, that it is the only thing we have eaten there, so I can’t really speak to any of their other offerings, although based on the number of giant trophies adorned with chickens, they can apparently cook up a pretty good wing as well.(Maybe someday I will try the award-winning«Strawberry Cheesecake Wings,» even though that sounds, just… weird.) The service here is fantastic. No New York-style attitude to go with your New York-style pizza – just good West Coast friendliness. That said, the obsession with crime syndicates displayed on the wall may make some people a bit nervous. I do suggest that they consider replacing their ice-tea machine, since whatever comes out of that Lipton tank is undrinkably bad, leaving the Pepsi-haters like me with few non-alcoholic options to wash down that delicious pizza.

May 4, 2013 Saturday — dinner 6:30PM 5 adults &1 kid Atmosphere — 5 stars Food — 5 stars Service — 5 stars Background — We got a DealChicken to use up bonus is that is a Buffalo NY pizza place! Two weeks a row getting Buffalo pizza, last week was Naked Pizza in Las Vegas. I was born in Buffalo and visit my family out there always get a pizza or two, I wish I could visit more often. Atmosphere — A bar to the left when you walk in and the dining area is right there. They have booths and tables. Walls are covered in Buffalo sports memorabilia and mob related items, loved the family mob trees. Food Drink — Again Normally I do not comment on it but since this all about Buffalo I will. So I asked Paulie if they had Genny, for those who don’t know that is Genesse out of Rochester NY. Paulie«Are you kidding, do want green or red». The colors indicate the style of the beer. So I had to ask if they had Loganberry, nope. But a Red is awesome in my books. This is true blue collar beer from the Western New York. Gotta get the green next time. Appetizer — Skipped it today. My Main Course — Duh pizza! We got a full tray, half pepperoni, and half the Paulie. The Paulie is pepperoni, meatball, sausage and onions. We asked for no onions. They have true Buffalo pepperoni which are smaller style and curl up. They cooked the pizza to perfection with light burning of the tips of the curled up pepperoni. So tasty. My Wife’s Main Course — We watch a lot of Diner, Drive-In’s and Dives and she has seen the Beef on Wick all the time. Normally it is a Wednesday special but they had it tonight. So my wife ordered it. The beef was amazing on the kimmelweck bun. Service — Paulie meet us at the door. Paulie is friendly and funny business owner. It was great talking to the guy. It was a busy night and made time for us and made sure we were good. Even delivered the beer from the bar for us. Future — I can see future visits to this place! How did I not order wings!
