We love Mountain Mike’s. We don’t eat there often because of the prices but we had a coupon this time! We’ve never eaten at this particular location either. Our coupon was a «buy a large specialty and get a large one-topping for 6.99». So we ordered the Pike’s Peak and a half pepperoni/half cheese plus sodas. After we paid, I looked at the receipt and realized that the cashier charged me full price(actually $ 2.15 more than the menu price for the half/half) charged the tax and then took off the coupon amount(which was $ 2.15 less than it should have been). It wasn’t a large enough amount for me to try and dispute with it being on my debit card but if this is a regular practice, Mountain Mike’s is ripping people off. Beware! Especially at this location! The pizza is great though!

Great pizza! Loved the little pepperoni(a smidge spicy for the kids) and great cheesy bread. Had to call 3 places before finding one that would deliver to the Grand Sierra Resort.

We get cravings for pizza about once a month or so, and have always gone here. Their ingredients are always fresh and a killer crust. We will always come here. It’s never disappointed us. We’ve tried both locations and their just as delicious. It’s making me hungry just talking about it.

Got into Reno late last night. Ordered a pizza and salad delivered. The pizza was delivered streight to our hotel room. Looked and tasted delicious. Wish I could post a picture. Best delivery pizza I have ever had.

Pizza was fine for 10pm at night. Typical chain pizza. Nothing special. Delivered. I would give more stars but delivery took almost two hours. They made it right by giving us a ginormous pizza.

If I could I wouldn’t even give this place one star. I am highly disappointed and this restaurant is a disgrace to Mountain Mike’s. As soon as I arrived a man jumped up from a booth and went behind the cash register. He did not greet me, I started to order and that was fine. He then barked at me, and asked me if the order was for here or to go and I said for here. When he was finished with that he processed the card and barked at me again while asking how many plates. I was completely shocked at his demeanor towards me as his customer. I was so disgusted by that that I didn’t even want to stay and have dinner there, but I had already paid unfortunately. As for the pizza, definitely not anything better than little Cesar’s that’s for sure. I know I can go to little Cesar’s pick up a pizza for $ 5 and be on my way without the employee attitude. Mind you, I believe he was the owner. I will not be going back and don’t recommend anybody else to.

Generally I prefer a NY style pizza, but my office orders pizzas every payday friday so I was introduced to Mountain Mikes. Their pizzas remind me of what Round Table pizza used to taste like. The office favorites are the pepperoni pizza and Snowy Alps which is a white garlic sauce pizza with sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, fresh tomato and green onion. We’ve only had takeout so I can’t attest to the service or the buffet, but their takeout pizza is delicious! soft pillowy crust with crisp bottom, zesty sauces, and fresh toppings. In particular I love their small pepperoni! I see some people are complaining because these pepperoni crisp up when cooked, but that’s what I love about them. They are spicy and not sweet, just the way I like it. For some reason we prefer this location over the one by Mira Loma even though they are owned/operated by the same people. I have had some issues with prices quoted on the phone not being rung up when we go in to pick up, but it is usually sorted out when I remind them to apply the coupon/promotion. Honestly they can be a little less than friendly in my experience, but since we are frequent regulars they’ve warmed up a lot.

For the first time in my life I stepped into this place today, i was meeting a friend here and he suggested Mountain Mikes since i was in the area and his office was close by. The dining room is pretty big, but this place was virtually empty around lunch time, one guy was just there to pick up an order, and 2 other people walked in while we were waiting for our order. First of all the guy working the register wasn’t very happy to see me, I think i might have walked in on his lunch time or break time because he was sitting in a booth when i walked in and immediately went back after ringing me up for my order. But you could tell me wasn’t happy he was pretty unfriendly and tried to get me out of the way as soon as possible. Second the food really isn’t anything special, i ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and it was burnt not just the pizza but the pepperoni, the wings were pretty dry and flavorless and to be honest i wasted 30 bucks on food today but at least i can cross this place off my list. i never eat pizza lunch buffets because they usually suck, but I glanced over at the pizza’s they had for the buffet, three different kinds of buffet pizzas and one desert that looked like it was old and crusty, no thank you I recommend going else where even if you want crappy pizza there are better crappy pizza places in town.

I like this place, love the pepperoni pizza. the small pepperoni are so many they cover the pizza with them. the crust is soft get the biggest size it’s the mountain size it will feed like 5 people the workers are not the best but they are ok place looks clean. The buffet is a good thing to try so you can try all that they offer open for lunch.

Me and my wife are just coming through Reno and decided to stop in for some pizza. The place didn’t look like much from the outside, but we stayed optimistic. We ordered the Everest Pizza and Buffalo Wings. The wings came out first, my wife being a massive wing critic, fell in love with them. They had the perfect crust on the outside with extremely moist chicken on the inside. Very rare to come by in wings. Our pizza took some time to come out, but with one guy working, is understandable. Hands down one of he best pizzas we have ever had. The crust was crisp, the toppings were fresh, the sauce perfect, and all together was just an excellent experience. Great job.

I actually thought this place was really good. I’m really picky when it comes to pizza. I thought the crust was perfect. The amount of tomato sauce wasn’t to much. And there was a ton of ingredients on top. The only downside I would say is that it cost us 32 $ for a medium pizza, 3 drinks, and a buffet salad. That was a little to much for pizza. Otherwise no complaints food wise ! :)

I don’t understand how this place is getting so many bad reviews??? This is one of our go to’s for SURE! Some of the best pizza in Reno, fresh ingredients, perfect crust and friendly peeps. Sure, it can take long sometimes and it’s on the pricey side, but that’s what we do for bomb ass pizza! Seriously, I LOVELOVE this pizza.

Wasn’t too impressed. Salad was every veg pizza topping under the sun on greens. Pizza was alright but overpriced and kinda soggy. We got the vegetable one without olives. Also had chicken wings, they were too soft. I personally hate when the skin on wings is super soft. Just way unappetizing. Anyway, don’t know if I’ll find myself in Reno again. But I won’t be going here. Delivery guy was nice tho, gotta at least give credit for that. :)

Lunch buffet $ 9.00. The problem is, they don’t keep enough pizzas up there to choose from. On a 30 minute lunch, I’m looking for more than just one kind of pizza from a buffet. Right when I was leaving, they finally added more pizza, but it was more of what was already up there: perpperoni, and the chicken with white sauce. They have a salad bar, and also have beer in the case. Lots of TV’s and arcade games. This place is hit and miss. Also, the people who work there HATEYOU!!! How do I know? The fact is, I don’t, so I’m just jumping to that conclusion. But it’s not just a wild stab in the dark. They literally NEVERSMILEATANYONE, ORANYTHING! Sometimes I get such a bad vibe from one of the dudes, I wonder«are there razors hiding in the pizza?» I’ve never found anything wrong with the food except at times they leave it under the heating surface for too long and it gets dry and gross, but obviously I’m only joking. But lighten up a bit! And don’t be cheapskates. Put a variety of pizzas out during your lunch buffet, not just 1 or 2 that get gobbled up by hungry landscapers, making me have to wait around till the last minute for the good stuff! Yeah!

I went here for the lunch buffet today. When I arrived at 11:59am, there were NO pizzas or bread sticks out. So I ate a salad while waiting. We waited 11 minutes for the first pizza to come out. The pizza was not«hot out of the oven» either. The half pepperoni-half hawaiian was dry, hardly any sauce at all. Next pizza was a full hawaiian, then a chicken type pizza. Those were all gone very quickly, and yet we waited again, about 5 mins for another pizza to be put out. The pepperoni was good, hot, and had a nice amount of sauce on it. Lots of people waiting around to eat. Not good on your lunch time. Place was clean though.

Ok at best! As far as the food! We could have went almost any place for the same price. But the kicker is there was only one guy working and he left to deliver pizza while we where waiting for our food. If I didn’t already pay 66 $ for wings and two pizza’s I would have l left. My first and last visit to THIS mountain mikes. I don’t usually give bad reviews so I looked into mountain mikes franchise before writing a bad reveiw. The cook did not use the ingredients they advertise mostly cheese and sausage that’s probably why I had to ask if he brought the right pizza. I believe he used government yellow American cheese I would have enjoyed little Cesar’s for a week more than that. Lesson learned

Preface. We RARELY do pizza. So take this two star review with that grain of salt. We do chain pizza even less. But our daughter’s soccer team planned a «Team Meeting» here. There were about 100 people there give or take a dozen. The business had ample room and they were given notice that this many people were going to show up ahead of time. I had a piece of the pizzas that came out over an hour after they were supposed to. It was chain pizza. Meh. The worst problem here was that they had a line that lasted for at least an hour. Of course this probably wont be the situation when you arrive but it was for me. The Salad bar was pretty good and a pretty good price, so if I find myself here again I will probably choose that. Oh wait! They had Schöfferhofer in a bottle! Nice!

I heard great things about Mountain Mike’s Pizza from a co-worker of mine, so I decided to give it a go. Not knowing they had delivery, we called ahead of time to place an order so that our pizza would be ready by the time we got there. We were told it would be ready within 15 minutes… Once we got there, we were ready to grab our pizza and go home for a movie night. Come to find out, our pizza hasn’t even been made yet — apparently our order was misplaced! I would have been a little more understanding if the place was busy but it was 8PM on a Wednesday and the place was empty of customers. I went back out to the car to sit and wait for our order to be ready. I sat from 8:05 until about 8:40 when my boyfriend walked back in to see if the pizza was ready. We didn’t get any discount on our order, not even a «hey, I’m sorry. would you like a free fountain drink while you wait for the next 35 minutes?» Not only was the service a disappointment, but the pizza was nothing to brag about either. Maybe next time I’ll try the S. McCarran location… if there is a next time.

Up until I actually visited the inside of this establishment I had been very satisfied with this store. I had always gotten my pizza for delivery and the driver was always very polite and most of the time arrived ahead of schedule and had no trouble finding my apartment. I found the pizza itself to be tasty and it reminded me a lot of how Round Table Pizza used to taste. However, I recently visited this location because I decided to save a little money by picking up my pizza rather than having it delivered. The first thing I noticed was that the place looked run down. The second thing I noticed was the fact that it was completely deserted, minus 2 of the staff(I finally understand why delivery was always so quick). My 1-star rating has nothing to do with the friendliness of the staff. On all occasions of my visits, the staff has been courteous and helpful. The only exception to this is occasionally during a phone order there are some problems with communication. My 1-star rating therefore stems from my recent visit to their buffet. While I believe their service is worth 4 stars, the presentation of the store is worth maybe 2 stars and my actual visit of the store on this day is worth 1 star. I walked in with my friend at about 1PM. There were a couple other customers that had mostly already finished eating. When we walked up to the counter my friend noticed that there wasn’t any pizza out for the buffet. I didn’t notice this. We paid for our meals and walked over to our table and immediately noticed that none of the dishes from the previous guests had been cleared. I approached the counter for the buffet and noticed that there was barely any pizza out. There was 1 slice of pepperoni, most of a pizza of what looked like some sort of BBQ chicken, and some garlic bread. The pepperoni looked like it had been sitting out for 2 hours, I hate chicken, and so I opted to try a slice of garlic bread. On a side note, even if I had wanted a salad(which I didn’t), there was barely ANY lettuce in their salad bar. In any case, I tried the garlic bread and immediately had to spit it out. It literally, and I mean LITERALLY, tasted like vomit in my mouth. I was disgusted. I don’t know how long it had been sitting out or if they even used a fresh crust to make the bread, but it was one of the worst things I had ever tasted. At this point my friend and I were basically just waiting for more pizza to come out. The only staff member they had working that day said there would be more«soon.» After waiting about 15 – 20 minutes, a pepperoni pizza finally came out. I had been so frustrated with waiting for so long and the poor taste of the garlic bread that I just about asked for a refund, which is something that I have never done. The pepperoni pizza was decent, at best. I’m not a fan of the type of pepperonis they have — I don’t like them crispy and curly. So I took most of the pepperoni off the few slices that I had. There wasn’t much sauce on the pizza, either. She said she was bringing out 1 last pizza. I looked at my friend like um… what? The only pizza that had been out so far that either of us had liked at all was the pepperoni, we waited 20 minutes, and for what? We thought well maybe the last pizza would be good and that would be enough food… but nope. The last pizza she brought out was some sort of white sauce pizza with chicken, mushrooms, bellpepper, and olives. My friend hates peppers and mushrooms. I hate chicken and white sauce. What happened to some traditional pizzas like cheese, vegetarian, hawaiian, or combination? How is this supposed to be an all you can eat buffet if your selection is so out-of-whack with what most people would probably like? So that’s it? My friend and I paid $ 17.22 to split a medium pepperoni pizza and 2 drinks? That’s an insane price when the pizza isn’t even very good and the store is littered with dirty dishes and torn seats. Because of this experience, you can bet that I will not only never be ordering the buffet again, but I will also never order pizza from this establishment either. I will not support a business that is so very clearly going downhill and isn’t run well. If I had these kinds of problems from 1 visit, I should assume that they’re not maintaining proper sanitation standards or checking their products for expiration dates. Management should be able to fix these types of issues and get people in the door and maintain regular customers; the place shouldn’t always be empty every time I walk through the door. And I certainly shouldn’t have to pay $ 8.61 for half a pizza and be told that nothing else is coming out of the kitchen when there’s an hour left for the buffet.

Was told pizza would be ready in 15 min but it took a lot longer. Ordered a pepperoni pizza and the pepperoni was burnt — see pic. I won’t go back it was a big disappointment.
