Been to the two other Pegs in Reno. All of them are excellent. Their signature dish is ham and eggs but the ham is a huge ham steak with pineapple. Also had the breakfast burrito and Benedict. All are awesome! Some entrees have unlimited today but be careful. If they catch you sharing toast, no more toast for you! All of them get quite crowded. But if you go before 11 you should be ok except at the main one on S Sierra. That one is crowded all the time!

The food gets the stars, and honestly, they deserve more in that aspect. The service killed it for me. Thanks to the waitress who ruined my breakfast. Whilst I’m totally interested in the«science behind how people eat» book you’re reading, I could’ve done without the comments on how I eat. Thank you for calling me «weird» and letting me know you«could never eat like that», as I wasn’t uncomfortable about enough of what I do in life. Thanks for making me feel so uncomfortable I didn’t want to finish my meal for fear you were still watching me. Thank you for persisting after I tried to tell you it was a military habit. I wouldn’t come back here if you paid me.

This is one of my favorite breakfast spots in the Reno area! The food tastes great consistently, and the portions are generous. The staff is extremely friendly, and the service is always delightful.

Oh my! We went there starving and I left with half of my food in a doggy bag. To begin with… I had a difficult time deciding on what to order, because everything looked so good(even just reading the descriptions on the menu and special board) and quite a lot of it is available for gluten free eaters. Be sure to tell your server that you need to eat gluten free(if you do) and they should be able to point out what would be safe(at least mine did very well). Basically go with the corn tortillas instead of flour tortillas or bread and stay away from gravy and other things that would usually have flour. She wasn’t sure about the hollandaise, but another restaurant in town that does A LOT with gluten free has gluten in their hollandaise, so I suggest avoiding it unless they can tell you that it’s safe. Anyway, Hubby had one of the specials and I had a chili omelet(I added avocado, though) that comes with a ton more food! It included the omelet, corn tortillas(not sure if usually comes with flour ones or not), hash browns, cole slaw, beans, a slice of melon, and a big serving of a corn relish. I also ordered a large fresh squeezed orange juice. It had some pulp(which I do like) and was large enough that with my amount of food, it was way too much. I will be getting a small one next time. ;) Hubby’s special was some kind of tostada with eggs on top served with hash browns and a slice of melon. It was a bit taller than it looks in my picture and quite filling, but my breakfast was much larger. We will definitely return. For one thing… I have SO many more items I want to try! ;)

We almost had a melt down looking for food. Hung over and hangry we drove away from the«strip» after a rough night at the El Dorado looking for breakfast. My girl friend was telling me there wouldn’t be any food in the direction we were going but we stumbled upon pegs and it saved our relationship. It was packed but the wait was short. I ordered the chili omelet and she got the Sierra monterrey skillet. The food was amazing even the presentation was great. They brought the food out on a country style pan and there was so much food. The omelets looked like it had 8 eggs in it. Every plate is served with beans coleslaw and tortillas which is always a hit for us. When we come back to reno we will be sure to stop in again.

The staff was super friendly and my coffee was never empty. The food was ok but I wanted to sub avocado for my hash browns, and they won’t let you do that. If they let you sub avocado, I’d for sure come back. Squeeze in allows for subbing avocado so I’ll just continue going there.

Kind of busy packed, the food seemed okay. I definitely don’t see what the hype was about. Ordered: French Toast + Country Fried Steak & Eggs. The coffee was watered down. But the food itself was okay, not really worth the money. I don’t quite see the hype but it was okay. Good customer service, only time I felt rushed was when we arrived and they were ready to take our order. Still, I would go back, maybe order something different.

If you’re looking for a breakfast/brunch place in Reno, then Peg’s is a solid option! The prices are a little high for this poor college student, but they actually do give you a LOT of food — enough to be full for the rest of the day, or even take some home for leftovers. As for service, it depends on the day and time you go. If you go at their peak hours, like Saturday or Sunday morning, of course they aren’t going to give you their undivided attention. I have gone on a weekday morning, which I have to say was much more enjoyable. You don’t feel rushed or smooshed. There is a hype about Peg’s in Reno, for sure. But overall I think they deserve it! My fiancé, David, says that it deserves 5⁄5 «100% satisfaction, short wait.» But that’s just because any breakfast food satisfies him! :) And once we went on a Saturday morning and he called ahead to put our name on the list(which I would definitely recommend for the busy mornings). Have fun«pegging» out on Peg’s!

«Best Breakfast in Reno»… It was decent enough, I guess but definitely not the best breakfast I’ve ever enjoyed by far in Reno or elsewhere. I got the smoked salmon Benedict. Not bad, the salmon made it a bit too salty for my taste. Decent enough, but I was by no means amazed.

Came here on Easter. It was a nice little place. The menu had a wide variety of options and the staff was friendly. I asked for a recommendation from the waitress and she said the Chicken fried steak was really good. I decided to order it. The plate came out and looked nice however upon my first bight, I realized it wasn’t freshly made. It was a frozen patty and deep fried. Not what I expected from a place like this. It’s a shame because it looks like they make a lot of stuff fresh. I’d recommend they reevaluate using pre-made stuff and make it fresh.

Service is terrible Cannot get a simple order right. When I made a comment about the order being mixed up the server was very rude. I must add that when we finally got our right order the food was very good.

So nothing can quite get one in the mood for some Biscuits and Gravy like shopping with The Wife for jeans. So we’d just pulled into Reno and my Unilocal was open and looking for some grub. Luckily we were right around the corner from Peg’s. Seems quite famous and I love… I mean love breakfast. Honestly I could eat it 3 times a day most days. So I got the biscuits and gravy and The Wife grabbed a couple eggs over easy with a side of hash-browns, bacon and country sausage. So they were almost closed when we showed up, but they were happy to seat us. The biscuits we so light and fluffy they needed that gravy to hold them down. I mean hot damn they were awesome, and freakin huge, I only finished 1 ½ of them. My eggs were scrambled decent. Now to The Wife’s food, the bacon was a little thin to both of our liking so I’d give the bacon a meh, the eggs had some areas of the whites that were still runny which honestly shouldn’t be happening on over easy eggs. The saving grace to her plate was the country sausage though. 1st off its a huge patty, and 2nd’ly it’s just amazing how much flavor it has. I would be tempted to put this 3 stars but that would be impossible with the sausage and my biscuits and gravy were on point. In the end I’d be happy to recommend this place to others and be back again myself. Next time I think I’ll try the hash which is supposed to be their specialty.

It’s close to my house and my go to for their Chef George’s bene, its my absolute favorite breakfast like ever. My daughter loves the pancakes or Steele cut oatmeal with apples and my husband orders a skillet, talk about holy skillet! He says, «they’re constantly good no matter which one he’s had so he can’t say he has a favorite». In my numerous visits through the years the food and service remain consistently solid. We’ll be back soon!

While Peg’s does offer some great food I can’t help but feel that it’s a bit overrated in comparison to what else Reno has to offer. The wait time is typically long and the service could use some general improvement in regards to customer attendance. Not bad for grabbing the group and heading on over in the morning to nurse a hangover but if you go on a sunday be prepared to have what feels like the sunday congregation judging you for your previous nights expedition. The location is great for North westerners while there’s always plenty of parking to be found.

I LOVEPEG’S. This is one of the best breakfast places I’ve been to, and the prices are affordable! BREAKFASTISTHEMOSTIMPORTANTMEALOFTHEDAY, and I eat A LOT for breakfast, and I’ve finally found a place that has met my standard. FOOD5⁄5: I got the Country Fried Steak & Eggs($ 11.50) and my friend ordered the Peg’s Glorified Huevos Rancheros($ 9.50). The steak was amazing and the hashbrowns were crispy. We left with big, happy bellies. SERVICE5⁄5: Even though we walked in the restaurant 30mins before closing, they weren’t angry at us. They welcomed us and sat us down immediately. Our server was quick and friendly.

I loved this place! We were looking for a little brunch spot for Sunday Mornings and Peg’s didn’t disappoint! They are master omelette makers and I’m super jealous that I can’t make ones this good in my own kitchen. There’s something on the menu for everyone, and I love a place with a lot of options. With waitstaff and atmosphere, I felt like I was a regular. They can also handle the crowds just as well as if you were the only people dining. I’m so looking forward to trying not everything on the menu in the times that I come back… But I’m not quite sure about the spam dish… I think I might leave that for him!

I am a HUGE fan of Peg’s Glorified Ham N Eggs! It specializes in breakfast/brunch and that is reflected in their hours. Each dish they offer is crafted to perfection, even when they are in the middle of their busiest hours during Sunday Brunch times. My personal favorite is their breakfast burrito but I’ve tried other dishes and I have never been let down. All the menu options are great! I recommend going on a week day if you want to avoid a wait and a busy atmosphere.
