This place was not for me, but that’s not why it gets a low rating. I have no problem with other people eating things like peanut butter and avocado omelets, as long as *I* don’t have to eat that stuff. Nope, the problem for me is centered totally around the terrible service from one of the waiters. He was just terrible. Really ruined my day. The menu is badly designed, cramped, difficult to read, and the food universally is entitled with cutesy names that tell you NOTHING about what you’re about to order. To find that out, you have to read a paragraph in cramped lettering stuffed in under the cutesy titles. Again, this was an eye-roller for me, but not a real problem — except that I kept seeing the blue splashes that kept talking about their«spudz». Really? What are we, all 8 years old? *eye-roll eye-roll eye-roll*. Whatever. The issue was not the cutesy title, but the fact that I couldn’t find these mystical«spudz» anywhere on the menu, other than a mention on one of the first couple of pages that you could get them as a side with some of those peanut-butter avocado omelets and all their hmmmm, shall we say, UNIQUE kin. So I asked for these elusive«spudz». And was promptly told I couldn’t have them. Actually, not so promptly. I literally cannot relate to you what he first said in response to my question because he was talking«cutesy» and made no sense. I had to ask him to repeat himself more plainly. The upshot was, he told me I could only get them with one of the breakfast«meals», eg I couldn’t just get the«spudz» and some bacon. Nope. I would have to order a «UNIQUE» omelet that I wouldn’t eat, or pancakes that I didn’t want, or … ad infinitum. That was a bit of a shocker, I have never in my life set foot in a breakfast place that wouldn’t let you have whatever their version of hash browns/home fries or(in this case) «spudz», on the side, as long as it was anywhere on the menu. OK. Taken aback and deeply disappointed, but whatever. So fine, I’ll switch to a burger. «What can I get that on that is NOT sourdough?» I asked. «Nothing. We only have sourdough» I was told. I was so taken aback by that(again) that I felt the necessity to repeat the question to be sure. Nope, he wasn’t going to let me have that unless I ate it on sourdough. Wow. Soup Nazi’s got nothin’ on this guy. By this time I’d been scouring the menu for so long that my son had already ordered. Not wanting to waste any more time searching through the menu for yet a third item that I would probably STILL be told I couldn’t have, I gave up. So I handed him back the menu and proceeded to wait in misery, knowing that I wasn’t going to get a chance to eat before going to the caucus after all. My son had already ordered, so we sat there and waited and I tried to fill my stomach with water. Fortunately, and this is the only reason the place didn’t get 0 stars(well that and the fact that Unilocal only goes down to 1), two different servers came by with my son’s order. He was handed that and then the 2 women looked at me in confusion and consternation. «What was it you had ordered?» one of them asked. Nothing. Then I explained why. The first thing they said was that they certainly DO have breads other than sourdough that I could have gotten with my burger, and OFCOURSE you can order the«spudz» without having to get an omelet or what-not. They asked me how I wanted my potatoes cooked(something the other guy hadn’t offered to my son), whether or not I wanted cheese and onions on that(again, my son didn’t get these choices), and how I wanted my bacon cooked. And then they cooked it up that way and brought it out. By that time my son was nearly done with his breakfast, but at least I would be standing in line to caucus with some food in my stomach. Once I finally got it, the food was actually fairly good. But the experience BEFORE that(and the fact that they had seated us ALL the way in the back, right in front of their prep area, where I was intermittently regaled with someone or other’s shrill attempts at chanteusery and the constant rattle of crockery) was enough to ensure I will never set foot in a Squeeze In EVER again. Look, everybody doesn’t have to like the same stuff. But … well, the whole soup Nazi impersonation thing was really unwelcome and unwarranted. I have no idea why a waiter would be so snarky about making changes to a menu item(such as asking for a different kind of bread). «I don’t know, let me ask» is a perfectly acceptable answer if you don’t know, or if you are confused by a customer’s order. But seriously — why should«bring me some „spudz“ and bacon» be confusing to start with? I don’t know. But I shall never darken the doorway of a Squeeze In and trouble them with my unreasonable requests ever again.

This place was sooo good! We ate here on Valentine’s Day for brunch and it was about a 45min wait but the food was totally worth it. The menu has great variety for what you’re into. healthy, not so healthy. It has it all. The staff was really friendly and the atmosphere is very cool. He décor is mix match with writing on the wall, it’s definitely interesting to look at. I had the Cadillac egg white omelet with bacon and avocado, corn torts(instead of toast), & fruit(instead of potatoes) and it was delicious. The bf had a bacon cheeseburger with garlic fries and he loved it. The food was really tasty, fruit was fresh and everything was just really full of flavor. I will definitely go back.

I’ve been to Squeeze In a few times at their various locations and the food has been consistently good. They’re always fairly busy so be sure to anticipate a wait if you visit during the Sunday brunch rush. Squeeze In offers a cool atmosphere where the walls are painted like a sunset in bright yellows and orange and signatures and notes cover the walls. It definitely creates a neighborhood vibe. The food is pretty good and the portions are huge. The most recent time I visited, I ordered an omelette. The«omelette» was really more of a bunch of ingredients with four fried eggs resting on top. The taste is good, but the prices are a bit much for me. When giving this review, I felt that«A-OK» is the best description of all of my experiences at Squeeze In.

Loved this Reno local fave. My aunt brought us here for a family brunch and it had food for the vegans, the carnivores, and the lil ones! Plus they were steamed veggie options! Was phenomenal! Will visit again!

This place is so good at what they do, great food & excellent service!!! My favorite is the Spanish Flay. I put American cheese on it instead of the cheese it comes with, I also add chorizo & I get the potatoes on the side instead off inside. They excellent English muffins & good coffee. ALL of there servers are very good at their job & always are up beat & happy. My favorite place to eat breakfast in Reno. This is a must try!!!

So I’ve been to Squeeze many a time, even the original in Truckee CA back in the day. While the food IS good, even great at times, breakfast should never cost that much. Often crowded, a small orange juice will run you at least an arm. Dishes weren’t exactly spotless and had residue on the cups and some of the silverware. Hostess was not to be found at her station upon entrance more than a few times. Upon receiving the bill one day for two I made the joke to the waitress«I didn’t want to buy the place!»…needless to say, she was not amused even the slightest. Service is alright, but due to how busy it is what can you expect. If you do plan on going, get the home fries, they are very good. On a final note, any place Guy Fiere goes to is NOT that amazing, but the locations do sure get a surge from being on the show.

So… I’m going #lowcarb this month. Ask me about the science behind it, if you like! Bryan and the rest of the staff were über helpful. And I ended up with a Mighy Aztec ¡spicy! Omelette with sliced tomatoes for the side with a side of sour cream and a side of the house salsa verde. See attached picture. So damn delicious, and here I am, still on plan.

Me and a pal had a nice experience here for breakfast on a weekday. Not very busy at all so we sat right down in the otherwise pretty small space. No booths — but no big dea! The service was nice a quick and everyone seemed to enjoy working here. The setting was very ‘diner’ and not the cleanest in the world, but it’s meant to be a diner — and it is! The sticking point for me was the very high prices. I don’t go out for breakfast too often and it was a bit of a sticker shock considering you’re in the Reno ‘burbs. This isn’t Manhattan, people! But the food was very nice. And lots of it! And I really liked their extensive menu and their fun frequent diner program. I’m not from Reno so this wouldn’t really fit for me but I could definitely see locals getting excited about it. Great work!

What a great brunch place. I was in Reno for business. Some relatives live in Reno, so we had breakfast together on a Wednesday, before I left Reno. We had to wait for 15 minutes. That is a good sign. Once we got a table, the service was outstanding. The brunch/breakfast choices were great. The eggs, French toast, etc., all came out tasting great. The price point is perfect.

Always a wait but the food is okay. Nice atmosphere but I wish they would do half sandwhich and soup or salad. Portions are ridiculously big. Priced higher too.

Our first time being here and it definitely won’t be our last ! The service was impeccable. They had a bucket full of toys ready to entertain my active toddler once we were seated. Our order was promptly taken and served. The food was filling and well worth the price ! My absolute Favorite part of our food was the tomato pesto dipping sauce. It’s TODIEFOR !!

Really 3.5 stars. Went here for«brunch» and had a pretty good experience. Really friendly staff. My friend had an omelet and said it was pretty good. I had the French dip which was«okay» but the fries? Holy wow… the fries. So good!!!

Went here two weekends ago with my BF on a Sunday(late morning) for the first time! I had seen your restaurant on Throwdown with Bobby Flay and LOVE a good breakfast! The wait wasn’t too bad for how busy it was, but I was a little disappointed that we were quoted 10 minutes and waited 30, but like I said it was a busy morning and I felt like the food was worth it. Loved the atmosphere and close knit feeling of the whole joint! The food was amazing, I had the Veggie Eggs Benedict and my BF had the French Dip. I really enjoyed the potatoes(my fave) and the Hollandaise sauce was on point. I wish I could remember which beverage I had, but that was delicious too! While I really enjoyed myself, this isn’t the place I’d make my weekly breakfast trip, just because things were a bit on the pricier side. That being said, when I’m feeling like treating myself and dropping $ 60 on breakfast for two, I’ll be back. Can’t wait to try the Spanish Flay!

Man oh Man, do I love Sqeeze In! This place has such a cool and eclectic environment which is awesome and fun to be in. The staff? ALWAYS so kind and fun! Love watching them walk around dancing and being so so kind to the people who come in. We’ve had Heidi each time we’ve been and she is just so nice! The food is always great too. I usually get the Quintana Roo, but I switched it up today to the Rednecker and oh my gosh I fell in love all over again! The over easy eggs were incredible, and the spuds with cheese and onions and the bomb. Love this place, and I’m glad I celebrated my two year anniversary with my boyfriend here :)

Yes! Yes! Yes! The bloody Mary with bacon. OMG! !! Was it amazing. You have to get it! !! I had a buzz leaving this place, but I also had a mimosa.: p The tables were all different, they have great decors, just random things everywhere, hanging on the ceiling, people write all over the walls. I had a bacon eggs benedit. With loaded potatoes Can’t remember what exactly was in it but I was so good. Be ready to wait, I went to one of their locations near my hotel and they had a line out the door. Then I came to this one side it was on the way home and we also waited about 20 mins. But! It was so worth it. Patio seating. Great workers, they all help each other. Great team players. I’ve noticed when restaurants employees all work together it makes customers experience so much better, no waiting for anything. If your in those area you must go for breakfast

Great spot for brunch! I came here with three other girls and we were very impressed with the food! So yummy! We got the banana, strawberry french toast, Spanish omelette, Hawaiian Omlette, eggs Benedict, mimosas and coffee. We shared and tried eachothers food because we wanted to try everything! Definitely worth the wait(20min for us on Sunday). But i would definitely come and eat again here. The staff was great too!

This is an amazing place for breakfast/brunch. The menu is extensive and unique, and it will take me many more visits to try everything that looks good. The Racy Tracy omelette I had this morning was delicious, stuffed with bacon, mushrooms, and jack cheese. It was topped with a prodigious amount of avocado, with a huge side of well-browned home fries/potatoes, and your choice of sauces on the side. Toast comes with, but I subbed a buttermilk pancake for no upcharge, and it was just as good as it looked. The glass of OJ was huge – I easily shared with my kiddo rather than ordering two. A perfect breakfast, and enough leftovers for a quick take to work breakfast tomorrow. I’m so full I can barely type this review. This place is also extremely kid-friendly, with buckets of toys for the table and plenty of high chairs. The kids’ menu has more choices than most places, and adult portions are so huge that I could easily feed a child from my plate also. My toddler had the teddy bear-shaped pancake(complete with fruit face) and loved it. Finally, the service is friendly, efficient, and charming.

I had a pretty wonderful brunch with some friends here. I rolled up with one friend in anticipation of delicious food and fabulous conversation. We asked for outdoor seating after exchanging hellos with a server. Past a couple and their two German Shepards, we sat under an umbrella in the corner. Uriah ended up being our server and took care of us. We started with a pitcher of mimosas and waters. Shortly after I ordered French toast with blueberries and a side of potatoes. Perfect choice, minus wishing I asked for extra syrup. We gabbed so long that we were able to move to a more shaded area after the couple left. Everyone enjoyed their meal and Uriah put up and played along with our banter and general shenanigans. I would definitely go back and bring more people with me. I’m a pescatarian and found it easy to order and have lots of options to choose from. Mmmmm I want to go back just thinking about it.

A fun and eclectic place for breakfast. Seems Food Network’s «Throwdown» has been here. Curious how that went. Breakfast was very good. The Sarge is their pastrami omelette. The world needs more pastrami omelettes. I prefer traditional style omelettes, folded over, bursting with filling. Here the omelettes are a blanket over the filling. Definitely could have used more pastrami. The homemade biscuits are amazing, light, and delicious. The country gravy is standard fare, floury gravy. if you are a fan of great country gravy. pass on that one. I can’t wait to return and try their other unique/odd offerings. I didn’t make it thru the menu and after ordering found a dozen other promising options.

We ordered a Racy Tracy with Otis Style potatoes and also a short stack of Jack Johnson Banana Walnut pancakes. Oh my gosh! It was all so good. We had heard great things — they were so true. Our servers were very friendly and attentive, the décor was fun, and the food was fabulous. We will be back!
