Man this place got the best location in the mall but every time I walk by, I feel like I have to zoom by so they don’t try to shove free samples down my throat. There’s really nothing Thai about Ruby Thai Kitchen. May be the owner’s name is Ruby Thai but they are Chinese? Food borderlines Chinese flavors more than Thai food and even then it’s pretty flavorless. You probably should just skip any restaurant in the mall.

This place is okay. The food here is decent. Order the fried rice and spicy bbq chicken. Decent enough to eat.

This is legitimately my guiltiest pleasure in this city. Every time I walk by the Meadowood food court, I try to maneuver to Tokyo Grill, hell, even Hot Dog on a Stick, to get a bite that won’t end in existential self-loathing. But alas, every time, I’m offered a sample of chicken by a woman who I’m sure now remembers my face, weak mental constitution, and liability to cave to cheap asian fare. I give this place a 2 primarily because there is practically nothing distinguishably Thai about their options. Very typically Chino Americano, and as far as food court venues go, I’d say this is at least a rung under average. My standard go-to is the Mango Chicken(though it’s highly probable that no mangoes were used in the prep of this dish) and the shrimp. The shrimp is breaded, seasoned with spice, and dusted with MSG. I’d recognize that tingly taste anywhere. For those still trapped in the early 2000’s and still cowering in fear at a sodium salt with a kick, steer clear. Or live a little while also bracing yourself for the impending regret. For those that want to go on a wild ride of umami, order at your own risk. I end this review on a warning: don’t let them reel you in like they’ve gotten me. It’s already too late for me; save yourselves and grab a sub next door.

As noted by others, it’s a panda-express-like place in the food court of the mall. And like others have noted, it’s hardly Thai. They did have an edible Thai-style curry dish at the end closest to the register. But for a three-entrée plate, you can easily feed two non-gluttonous adults and maybe even a little kid with some decent mall food, particularly when everyone has a case of the hangries.

Ordered the pad Thai, fried rice, curry chicken, and spicy bbq chicken. Didn’t like any of them. Lacked flavor. Waste of money

Really great spicy beef noodle soup with fresh veggies; also the grilled chicken soup was flavorful and good. I agree this place is not Thai but try the soups! They aren’t Thai but they are good, skip the wonton soup.

As me and my husband would say… Another one of the desert’s Mirages. Hahhaa. In a nutshell… There’s nothing Thai about Thai Kitchen. It’s Chinese food. «Pad Thai = Sweet and Sour noodles. «Mango Chicken”= Orange Chicken. You get the idea.

Thai iced tea was passable but for old hard boba for an extra $ 0.50 ridiculous. The noodle soups won ton and spicy beef was okay for mall food. The combo plate was a terrible reincarnation of Panda Express. Fried rice was old and hard. Should have looked up before ordering here.

Horrible food, bad service. The four girls behind the counter didn’t know how to make noodle soup so another girl who wasn’t even working had to go behind the counter and show them how. Unfortunately, they didn’t watch her. They just let her do it. Our food was cold and not good. We will not be eating here again.

June 22, 2014 Sunday — lunch 12:45PM 2 adults and 2 kids Atmosphere — 4 stars Food — 3 stars Service — 4 stars Background — Went to the mall so the girls could shop and stay cool today. Atmosphere — It is a mall food court, you get the idea. As a mall found courts go it is easy to move around and see all the restaurants. Some of restaurants come and go and others are staples.
Food Drinks — I went to the vending machine to get a bottle of Coke. The machines are over by Sear’s entrance.
Appetizer — none My Main Course — I went with the one item meal. For the one item meal you get one protein and a choice of rice or noodles. My wife and I decided to get the same protein, I got the rice and she got the noodles so we could try each other’s. My protein was the mango chicken. I know this is fast food but this is classic blandness which did not even have a hint of mango. The rice was the winner of this meal and it is a side dish. Dessert — none. Service — They had no problem with free samples and nice ladies working behind the counter. They did have too many people working behind the counter as they were almost tripping over themselves. This caused them to move a little slower because the extra people. Future — I will continue to find a regular place at the mall.

This isn’t Thai food, this is Panda Express masquerading as Thai. Just change the«orange chicken» to «mango chicken», thrown in a little lame excuse for Pad Thai, and there you go. All the dishes look almost exactly the same, and the ones I tried taste the same. They even hand out samples like the mall Panda Expresses often do. Either it’s owned by the same people or someone is just jocking hard on the Panda Express model but changing it to Thai to avoid getting sued. Either way, it sucks and is overpriced.

If you want real authentic Thai food, you are better off going to Bangkok Cuisine or A Taste of Thai, but if you want some pretty decent Thai fast food, this place works. Every once in a while I will stop here for my lunch break as it is close by and the food is reliably edible. The only thing is some days the food tastes fresher and of better quality and on days such as today when I sent my husband to get me Mango Chicken and Fried Rice, I can say about half the chicken was good tender meat and the other half well, not so much, a bit tough a little on the chewy side and not as hot or fresh as I have received on other occassions. All in all, the taste was still good and I have never had terrible food, but you can’t necessarily be sure the quality will be what you would like it to be. For Thai fast food at the mall, however I need it to be quick and edible which it always is. I continue to stop in every once in a while. On a side note, they have always been very polite and friendly and always smiling, I definitely appreciate the positive vibe and kind and courteous service.
