Food is nothing special, but the milkshakes are something divine. They have so many different flavors and they are always so thick. Not too mention they are priced so decently. Best shakes in town.

Not too bad. The burger I had was good. Can’t comment on the fries, I don’t really like fries too much. The shake I got was amazing and the service was friendly and fast. I’ll be going back to try out some of their other burgers and dogs. They don’t have indoor seating so keep that in mind. Just outdoor tables and a drive thru.

Just when we thought maybe a burger joint off the side of the road could be legit and delicious. However, we soon realized we set ourselves up for disappointment. Simply put, the shake is good, burger is not. Fries and rings all suck. K thanks bye.

I just got off work I wanted to try this one hot dog called the mighty Mike according to this these guys are open til 8 o clock according to them there open til 7 I got here at about 655. Guy told, me to go to the store in sparks that’s like 7 miles away roughly. I guess good service isn’t in there business model. Probably won’t be going back here.

Too sweet… We went here for their shakes. Both of us ordered two shakes each to try out the different flavors. All the shakes tastes similar with a vanilla base ice cream and it’s very sweet too sweet I would say. The peach shake tasted like vanilla ice cream with diced peaches dropped into it. Hardly tasted the peaches blended with the ice cream. Also if it had lots of peaches the shake would be an orange similar to la smoothie.

Everything I have tried is so good. My favorite is the mitey mike with no mayo. Not good for dieting but so satisfying

Scoopers gets 4 stars because they have über delicious milkshakes. I wish their burgers would make me rave, too, but I find them really bland, even with things like lettuce, tomato, processed swiss cheese, bacon, mayo, ketchup, and mustard on it. Came here with the hubby on his quick lunch break because it was close and we had a coupon, though I remembered not enjoying their burgers the last visit. The raspberry milkshake helped me down my meal, and it was a real treat, though I hate to see just how many calories I ingested. The service was a solid 4 stars, too. The gentleman was friendly as he took our order. And when I went to throw some trash away with my wrapped burger on hand, he opened his window and asked me if I needed a bag for my burger since he could tell I was on my way out. I thought that was a good step in customer service. I won’t be back anytime soon, unless it’s a really hot day and I’m in need of a sugar rush.

I’m giving Scoopers 4 stars for their milkshakes! They are very good and come in a bunch different flavors. They’ll even mix flavors together! The burgers are a 3 at best. They are good but nothing special for the price. I always walk up because it takes the same amount of time and I don’t want my car running that whole time. Customer service is just as good as it would be at any other fast food place. Overall, I would go here if I was craving a good shake more than a good burger.

Staying at a hotel close to Scoopers on Mill St., it is the closest food place to we gave it a try… As vegetarians, there were no options. Onion rings and fries. The service was ok to slightly rude, and the food(onion rings and my daughter got a banana split) was not so good. I won’t be returning.

I have been to Scoopers twice this past week, once in Sparks and once in Reno. The first was Reno. Went through the drive up window, gave the order to a female and no problems in relaying what I wanted. Picked up the food from a male at the window, he was friendly and quick, both good qualities. Got a quarter pound burger with cheese, onion rings and a coffee shake. All was actually quite good even in the shake was a bit weak in coffee flavour. All for a decent price too.

I was craving a burger, so my local friend suggested that we meet up here. There isn’t any inside seating, so make sure it’s not the middle of the day. I was roasting, but I got a strawberry shake and a burger. The burger was alright. But the shake was huge and delicious and fruity and incredible! I would definitely come back for a shake, and maybe to try that steak sandwich that Unilocalers are raving about!

Don’t be frightened away by the building. This place has FANTASTIC food. I can’t remember what it was called, but I had this giant sandwich that I believe was wrapped in a tortilla and deep-fried. Whatever they did to it, biting into it was heavenly. It was a hot day, so I had a milkshake to accompany my sandwich. I love pumpkin pie, so naturally, I was thrilled when I saw that they offer a pumpkin pie milkshake. It was literally, like drinking a slice of grandma’s pumpkin pie. Wonderful place.

Take home message — don’t be afraid of the outside because deliciousness awaits you inside. I’ve only used the drive — thru but the walk — up window seems easily accessible. The main reason to come here — their milkshakes. Mmmmm. Their coffee milkshake is delicious. Their fries are pretty standard diner /small chain fast food fare. Prices are fair. This will become a frequent stop for me when i’m close by — especially on a hot summer day when a milkshake hits the spot.

It has been many years since I have eaten at Scooper’s in Sparks and from what I remember, I always liked their food. As the husband and I were passing by Scooper’s on Mill we decided to get a burger, a cheeseburger, fries and a Butterfinger Milkshake to go. I always ask for no cheese and no onion. My burger had both. I expect this type forgetfulness from Burger King or McDonald’s, but not from a local place. I was really disappointed. I can pick off the onions, but the cheese is always melted on the burger and almost impossible to scrape off. I ended up eating the burger with the cheese, blah. I don’t know about anyone else, but American Cheese is not«real» cheese to me. The fries were pretty good and the shake was wonderful, but I think you have to try really hard to mess up a shake.

Excellent burger and fries for a great price with fast service. I’m not a bun fan, but this one was especially good. No indoor seating, and although easy to find on Mill St takes a little effort to get in the lot, but worth the effort. Will definitely return.

Don’t let the atmosphere or cosmetics of the building fool you; the food here is legit and served fast. I had the Steak Sandwich because I was reminiscent for the one they used to sell at Carl’s Jr. This Steak sandwich rates at the top two I have ever eaten. It is good quality meat and they cook it to your liking. The fries were also very good; I have had better but not often. I also got an ice cream sundae. The sundae was perfect and I got an oreo with it, beat that DQ! The price is right and the food is good, what more do you want. Scooper’s 2090 Mill St Reno, NV89502

I shouldn’t but I love it! The L.B.C. is a giant hot dog with onions, pastrami, bacon, chili, and cheese wrapped in a burrito. Fries are crisp, hot, and served in a box rather then a flimsy bag. Like the other reviewers have mentioned the shakes are real, thick, and worth making the trip for regardless of what side of town you live on. Every burger on the menu is distinct, flavorful, and worthy. Drive thru, call for pickup, or walk up. In spring and summer eat on the outdoor patio. Scoopers is one of the few amenities that Reno has to offer.

It seems that Reno has gone on a burger kick recently and these guys have gotten lost in the glut of new places. The shakes here are just amazing. You know when you were a kid and asked the parents to go to a place over and over and over again… my boy does that with this place. The burgers are good, unique and affordable. This is a step up for this building for sure. I will be frequenting this place when it’s close.

It’s pretty hard to spot if you’re not paying close attention while driving because its really tiny. This place is yummy. I ordered the number two combo with a 20 oz coffee shake. Double cheese burger with fries. The fries are similar to McDonald’s. But I like scoopers better they’re fried to a point where some are crispy and some have a little tiny wilt to them. Just like at Dicks in Seattle. The cheese burger is delicious. Super flavorful moist and cheesy. Layered with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, 1000 island sauce, cheese, beef patties and a nice thick chewy bun. Yummy! The shake is really good. Smooth, thick, cooling and tastes very good. Perfect amount of sweetness and coffee flavor. They give you a ton of fries and the shake is huge. I couldn’t even finish the fries after I ate my Burger. Next time I’ll get the single patty. Btw the drive thru service was so friendly. It felt like a mom and pops drive thru. I will definitely visit again in the future.

If you’re lookingt to put on a few pounds, this is it. Everything is very heavy and greasy. If you’re into that great. Their milkshakes(more like the consistency of ice cream) are good, I recommend the coffee flavor. Again like everything at Scoopers they are so bad for you. People love their breakfast burritos and are a really good deal for what you get but again, be prepared to be so full you can’t eat for the rest of the day… or move for the next 3 hours. They have a drive through so you don’t even have to get up to get your food… yeah.
