Great staff an awesome food, I highly recommend ordering from the authentic menu! The best twice cooked spicy pork belly I’ve had since my last trip to SF!

Wonderful food and amazing staff! I usually do take out here, but have eaten in several times. I have never been disappointed with the food. Always very tasty and just what I wanted! Never seems too greasy either. The staff is also wonderful! Very friendly and willing to go the extra mile! Go try them out!

It’s good. Environment is quite American-ish, waitress is nice. Food is good even though it did not surprise me. But good. My friends and I ordered from the authentic Chinese menu. I had the second last one(which is a non spicy noodle soup with pickcled cabbige and pork I guess, forget the exact name). Tastes like the one I made myself at home, which believe me is definitely a positive comment because it is pretty hard to find a real authentic Chinese dish in Reno. But as I said it did not surprise me because I was still looking for some non homemade taste… My friend is crazy about this place because the spicy dish here is good according to her.

To start off with this place literally SMELLS. When you walk in it’s the most off putting odor I have ever smelled walking into a restaurant. I have no idea why, but it appears they have a cooler when you walk in, among w/other junk at the entrance, that they pull frozen fish, and god knows what else from. I called in an order last week(I think day after Christmas — Friday about 5:30PM), and it was slammed, they said it was busy when I called, but it was ridiculous that they have I think1 server and 1 busser for a restaurant full of families, plus multiple large parties. It’s not a huge place, but it probably needs 4 servers minimum when busy, 2 bussers, and 1 bartender/server at the bar. I showed up on time(30 minutes after I ordered) and waited for another 25 minutes to get my food, and all the waitress did was show up after 15 minutes take my money, tell me it wasn’t ready, and leave. She told me it wouldn’t be long and finally after another 10 minutes, I started bitching, where’s my food to the busser lady, and presto, goes to the back and my food is ready. So let me back up, while waiting at the counter, I saw a man come from the back 3 times and pull food from this upfront, next to the bar deep freezer, that probably needs a tractor trailer of baking soda dumped in it and or taken out to the desert, shot, and put out it’s misery, as my guess is this is what is creating this TERRIBLE and OFFENSIVE smell. I ordered the Egg Rolls $ 6, Cashew Nut Chicken $ 12, and Steamed Rice $ 1, and the Egg Rolls were fresh out of the fryers, but had only cabbage in them and were about 4 inches long, so $ 1.50 for a 4 inch by ½ an inch egg roll, terrible value. The Cashew Nut Chicken is my favorite dish there, but I know my CNC was sitting there for a while as the nuts were half soft, so my dish was sitting and getting cold because no one there works as a team, and didn’t give me overdue food. I felt I was taken hostage after my $$ was taken the server never came back once. The food was adequate but not worth the time, price, smell, service, and terrible lack of management, nor was it served to me fresh. If my order was ready, the dude picking up the frozen fish could have brought it. The rice was good, but they should throw in steamed rice on a entrée. I couldn’t believe how poorly managed and run this place was that night, and I still cannot believe that anyone walking in there is cool with the SMELLOFSUPERFUNK. Sorely will miss the glory days of this place being my favorite chinese in town. I think they need to tear this place down, get a new owner, and proper staff, and see if they can create a winning formula again. «Taste + Price + Quantity + Quality + Service(Acceptable varies according to the place) = Value or aka My Value Equation».

I’ve been going here since I could walk. Good food, good people, family owned. They care about their customers and always greet you with a smile. I usually get a to go order and get a drink at the bar. Just a great place! Mandarin Beef is MYFAVORITE!!!
