Im so impressed! First, the servers were so great. They acknowledge you as soon as you enter the door. They seems like not working and just having fun. Second, the foods were so yummy. Im not even expecting that. Total satisfaction.

Great tiny place, with great hospitality. My family most def left happy. The beef wonton soup was the highlight of our night.

Not eating here again. Was eating here about every 10 days and started noticing quality of several dishes dropping; Shanghai Noodles changed to fewer shrimp, the Noodle coup with Grilled Chicken was dropped, etc. The food may have caused my 2 week bout with food poisoning since my symptoms coincided with eating here. Not fun. Both of us; my fiancée and I; experienced same symptoms except my version was much worst. My choice of dishes was different. I lost weekend of work! You will notice the grime on the menus and also so prevalent within the bathrooms. Don’t think the restroom towel dispenser has ever been cleaned. Avoid this place. Will miss the dumplings but bot worth the risk.

TERRIBLE just TERRIBLE!!! Walnut shrimp, the bread part of it was stale(taste funny), the beef and broccoli & the chow mein was all watery, like it sat there all day! The potstickers taste weird… The only positive thing on my plate was the fried rice(1 star for that)… Not a place to recommend

I always came to this location because of the prices and good food. BUTLATELY the quality of food has been a disappointment I gave them the benefit of the doubt and visited this place a couple more times until my last visit when I ordered chicken chow mien and got pasta noodles instead of the Chinese noodles. .Wow… the food was salty and bland … that was the final straw … i guess it depends on the day of the week and who is cooking that determines the quality of food… and the service now that’s another book… never coming here ever again… to bad there isn’t a choice of no stars…

My friend was not feeling well, so I offered to pick up some comfort food. She asked me to pick up some wonton soup for her as well as a combo dish. I decided on the Korean short ribs for myself. Total with tip, around $ 25 for all. WonTon soup came with 10 generous dumplings. Very simple — just the dumplings, broth and cabbage. I had a taste. Broth was a bit too salty. I’d be okay with ordering it again and doctoring it at home thusly: add low-sodium chicken broth and dump in some bok choy. Short ribs: Nope, nope. nope. The flavor was there, but there was hardly ANY meat and what was given in the serving was thin and tough to chew. Came with a scoopful of dry rice and bland steamed broccoli. It was around $ 8 — worth maybe $ 5. I felt like Tom Hanks in the movie«Big» — trying to eat a tiny mouthful of meat around a miniature bone. I continue my search for cheap but good Chinese food in Reno. This ain’t it.

1 star because there isnt an option for 0. To start we get there and my friend orders pork dumplings and she was told it would be 20 to 25 minutes, we agree to wait. I then put in my order for combo with chow mein, beef brocolli and orange chicken. We had to ask for our drinks then proceeded to wait 35 minutes for our food. We get home and the chowmein in drenched with soysauce, i tried to fix it by using sweet n sour sauce and it was still gross, my orange chicken was too chewy to even eat and how about cutting the stalk off the bottom of the brocolli. I was expecting bomb food after waiting so long and got a box full of crap that i threw away(im a fat girl that loves food, i never throw away food) unless you’re completely wasted and there are no other options i beg u to go somewhere else. Oh amd right before we received our food the lady hawked a loogi and spit in the sink.

This place is just up the street from my wife’s work so we stopped in for a bite today on her lunch hour. They have the combo special which is under $ 6, you get to choose from numerous different meats/veggies then you get a side of steamed rice, fried rice or chow mein. I had beef broccoli, sesame chicken with a side of fried rice. The wife had a plate of beef chow mein. She said her food was good. I enjoyed mine as well, but the sesame chicken could have used a bit more sauce. Their menu has a lot of other options including Phở at this location. We both ate for about $ 16 after tax/tip, not a bad deal!

Two stars because they are open late. Dropped in, relatively slow. Ordered a couple combos, one was a shrimp dish. Got home and was a completely different in the tied off bag. Called and talked to them and this is what they say«You can bring it back and we will replace it for free» Like, would you actually charge me for your mistake… I won’t bother, best thing is to just not give them business.

Excellent prices — food, just ok. We ordered beef & pork fried rice, egg drop soup, lemon chicken & sesame chicken. The lady who helped us — amazing. Maybe it was just what we ordered, maybe I’m used to the food style in the Bay Area, Ca., but I wasn’t wowed. For the price — we spent less than $ 25 for all that food and two drinks. The price outweighs anything we would have had to pay at The Peppermill where we are staying to eat.
