This place used to be very good with a variety of meats. Lately, the tacos are very limited and honestly, just not good. It used to satisfy my taco cravings, but now, I think I will have to resort to finding them downtown.

My husband loves but growing up in LA, not so great. But for a food truck sitting in n valleys of Reno, I’m ok with it

I passed by this trailer when coming home from downtown and didn’t feel like taking 395 to Stead. I had been meaning to stop there for months but never did. It had eluded me. After looking again, there it was. Like an oasis in the middle of a void where no food could be found on the west side of US395. I ordered 4 carne asada tacos, but what I really wanted to try was the empanadas. I chose carne asada as well. They did not disappoint. The meat was flavorful and delicious. It appears to be run by a mother and daughter. I asked how often they show up at this site. The young girl told me they are there Thursdays through Sundays, 5pm to 11pm. There is no place to sit. All food is made to go. I don’t even know if they sell drinks or side dishes. The generator that runs the trailer is rather loud. The prices are not listed anywhere. I paid $ 11.00 for the food. To me it was well worth the wait as they make everything fresh. Besides the the carne asada, they sell Buche, Tripas, Carnitas, Al Pastor, Chorizo, Pollo, Cabeza, Lengua, and Tinga. I plan to go back and try the tripas.
