I really adore Qdoba because the food doesn’t make me sick. I go there frequently because it’s healthier than fast food or a burger joint. I use their frequent buyer card, it helps when you reach a certain amount of points you get a freebie. I never had an issue with the staff.

So I normally give a restaurant a few tries before I write my review and to be fair this one I have visited twice. Qdoba has legendarily slow service when it comes to making meals so in the past as with other Qdoba’s I placed my order online so I could pick it up without having to wait 30 minutes for them to make a few tacos and a burrito. The first time I stopped by the restaurant there was another«call-in» order ahead of me. A woman sitting in the restaurant area with a quite sour look on her face. I have worked in restaurants before and I know unhappy customers come with the business. So I didn’t think anything of it that I had to wait an additional 15 minutes over the 30 minutes I was instructed to wait prior to my arrival. For those Qdoba execs who are a little slow with math, that is 45 minutes for 3 tacos and a quesadilla. Again I didn’t think much of it but the one other person in line and the other person in the restaurant is hardly a rush by any stretch of the imagination. I also ordered a cookie and a brownie with our meal. Sadly they were out of cookies but I was offered to my money refunded for the cookie with a tone that indicated that she was doing me a favor. I also ordered a brownie with my meal which I should have checked before I left the restaurant but for some reason I thought this place would serve good food. When I got home the meal was decent, a little overpriced for what it was but not horrible. However the brownie was dead and by dead I mean I actually stood on the brownie with my shoe on and it didn’t crumble. Its not legal to serve food to prisoners like that I cannot fathom why someone would think it would be okay to sell food to a customer that is obviously past date. That would be what is the word I am looking for? Oh yes illegal. Honestly at that point it wasn’t worth the gas to go take the brownie back so I cut my losses and tossed it into the trashcan where it made a resounding thud. Cut to 02 May 20167:00 pm I figured I would give this place a second shot. Again placed the order online but this time I didn’t put my credit card information in. I will pay with cash once I get my order and check it to make sure I haven’t been sold more dead food. Place my order a few minutes after 7:00 pm so the machine tells me that my order # 19 will be ready in 30 minutes. I wait the required amount of time, roll into the restaurant and there is 1 customer in line. I say yeah I am here to pick up my order. Order #19. Low and behold 3 people staffing the restaurant. More employees than customers and my order is not only not in progress but they haven’t even started it yet. So why was I told to wait 30 minutes? I told the girl behind the counter hold on. I am not interested in the order anymore don’t make it. I will go somewhere else. She cops an attitude with me like it is my fault she didn’t do her job. At this point I was a little angry that they hadn’t started our meal at this point but i was happy I wasn’t dumb enough to put my credit card info in this time. I took a deep breath walked away and the girl behind the counter offered up a sarcastic«have a nice day» on my way out. At this point she has now escalated what could have been a simple bad experience to an intentional insult. So I turned around and asked her who that manager on duty is, she stuttered for a moment and then said«Orlando is the manager in the back» do you have a problem. I said no, no problem I will take this up with someone that cares. I went to subway to pick up quick dinner for my wife and I. Reno is not known for any kind of take out experience once you get away from the midtown area and I really wasn’t in the mood for anything that required a deep fryer. I checked the Qdoba corporate page and I was actually appalled that their corporate site is littered with customer complaints about experiences very similar to mine. Here are some quotes: «Don’t know if anyone has ever tried the New Mexican Restaurant QDOBA on Gratiot & Masonic in Roseville, MI, but after our 1st time there last not, I would suggest not wasting your time or Money! Its not like a sit down restaurant, the people serving you behind the counter are Rude, Mr. Princess behind the cash register likes to pick his nails while your standing there holding your money out to pay him!» «In Feb2013 I had complained about the lack of customer service in the Rapid City store. Well once again last night(4-25-2013) the service was bad. My wife had requested schredded beef well once she started to eat she realized that they put pork in and not the beef it also had a Huge piece of fat that was disgusting. When we went to pay the person at the register was going so fast the he forgot her tortilla and Crushed all the chips for my Nachos.» This is a corporate attitude of we don’t care about our customers, Its not just my experience it happens nationally. How is Qdoba still in business? Here is a better question why is Qdoba in business?

Good quality burrito chain. Love that the guacamole comes standard and all the cheese sauces are excellent. Whenever I’m really hungry and want something quick I go here.

My family and I went here for a easy dinner night! I ordered a chicken burrito. The location is off the freeway. Their parking lot is very awkward and if it snows curbs maybe hit if you are not familiar with the parking lot. The food taste ok, no wow factor. The portions were a lot smaller then I am normally use to at other locations. The dining area was fairly cleaned and spacious. Half of the tables were dirty with food. The staff asked basic questions and tried to be friendly. But mostly looked like they were making through the night.

Food is mediocre, honestly I only ever go here when I’m coming home late from work and don’t feel like cooking. As a vegetarian, I really appreciate«made to order» food, but I wish the food was hotter. I only live 5 minutes away and by the time I get home my food is cold every time.

Possibly the greatest steak taco salad I have had in my entire life and quite possibly the greatest ever known to man. After my first bite and I had regained my composure, I’m pretty sure I heard angels singing. Oh and their ice tea was good too.

Last week I ordered a burrito the store manager was making the burritos, he was skimming on the portions ans served me up some frozen quacamoli which made my burrito taste like a frozen burrito, this is not the first poorly made burrito but it was the first time I felt the need to escalate outside the store, so I called Carol on their local complaint hotline at 7753227799 ext 210… after the call the manager came out and instead of asking how to make it better he was upset I called the complaint line, today I came in and the steak in my burrito was hard. burnt, and overcooked. I made a complaint to D who instantly was hostile stating that her manager told her about me she was arguing with me in front of other customers, she then went on to try and convince me the meat is fresh by stirring it and proved my point by pulling up extremely burnt pieces and dry pieces, I have seen several times they pour the old meat into good meat and stir it so it is twice as old sometimes. She continued to be hostile towards me a person who comes here at minimum 3 days per week for the past 3 years. they refused to make burrito again with meat not burnt even after customerservice 8585224571 asked them polity to assist me. This place could be better with some new employees or management. After waiting a very long time for customer service to reach a manager to ask her to make the burrito I gave up, the customer service member told me to ask for a refund, when I asked she said the she won’t do that, I explained to her that customer service instructed me to make request then she claimed to not have the ability, so now I am out of money and she still refuses to make a new burrito and actually argued that nothing was wrong with mine??? How is she an assistant manager?

Very mediocre Mexican food. Nothing special in the taste department. Food on the boards looked like it’s not properly changed out for freshness.

Meh. I’ve experienced better. It was highly adequate. Nothing special. The only saving grace is the habanero salsa.

Great grub on the go. I have been traveling through this area for a few years now and Qdoba is usually the go to spot for a quick wholesome meal. I have to be honest it was a bit of a let down this time around. They do have some new deals going on like their 2 for 5 special. The naked burrito and a bag of fresh chips is old faithful for me. The queso burrito is really good second choice.

I’d been to Qdoba before and expected similarly good results. Unlike the one at the south end of town, I didn’t find the interior annoying, offfensive and ugly. The staff was motivated and friendly, very helpful. I ended up getting the mango chicken salad. I added some dressing to it and said I’d pay extra. I paid extra(1.00), but wasn’t told I would. That’s pretty much fine as I was pretty clear that about what I wanted and didn’t care about the expense. Ideally, I would be told that I was paying extra and how much before the order was rung up. I also got a brownie that was thick, rich and large and only 1.00 or 1.50. That’s and unusually good deal. I was in and out pretty quickly. Once home, the food was delicious as I accustomed to experiencing from Qdoba. Marinating is the ish and it’s nice to see one chain recognizes that and how to have a good recipe for it. Recommended, largely because of the quality of food and taste for the price is extraordinary. It’s fairly healthy too, lean and fresh.

Not sure why more people have not reviewd this restaurant, I live in the North Valley and its nice to have a restaurant that you can sit down, enjoy a wholesome meal, a nice environment and not spend a fortune. Their food is great, the service was warming, like I belonged there. The TV always has games or news and I can enjoy a beer! Love the Guacamole and chips!!! MMMMMM

Not bad. Let’s put it this way– it’s a step up from taco bell food. Friendly staff. Clean, well kept resturant. Nice patio for out door dining if u choose.

My boyfriend and I used to eat here. Then about six months ago, my boyfriend would get a migraine after eating there. We asked if there had been a change in suppliers or ingredients, but were told there had not been any. They also started putting less and less cheese on items that came with cheese, and when I asked for a bit more cheese, just so there would be the«normal» amount, I was charged for extra cheese. The pico de gallo has overpoweringly strong raw onions in it. So, we don’t eat there any more. It’s a shame, because when Qdoba first opened here in Reno, we really enjoyed the basic, simple flavors and we thought the pricing was reasonable.
