The Freckled Frog

Stopped in over the weekend and the place looked nice, the service was good and there were plenty of things the wife wanted to spring money on. The people were definitely nice and talkative, the items for sale were very interesting and the variety of stuff was rather impressive. I think we will be back for other things and I’m glad to have this place so close to home.

My wife and I popped in yesterday on a whim after hearing what a cute place this was. We were not disappointed at all! It felt like finding buried treasure with all the various pieces throughout the store. Being a bit of a history fan I was very intrigued by where some of the pieces came from which only added to the overall allure of the store. I wasn’t prepared to purchase anything (yet) but only because I wasn’t expecting such a large array of items that I started thinking about where they would fit into my home. To me, this is the type of store where you have to give consideration on how to incorporate into your current décor, or perhaps you are looking to remodel altogether. They also have plenty of items that don’t require such though but are simply very cool along with newer items sprinkled throughout the store. The owners were incredibly warm and inviting and very willing to engage your curiosity. There is no pressure to purchase anything so looking around is very comfortable. Now I just need to find places for things that I have my eye on as I will certainly be back!

I only wish that Unilocal had more stars to give! The Freckled Frog. I mean, it’s one of the most inspiring home décor/​antique shops that I’ve ever seen! The owners are absolutely the salt of the earth, come from a long history of design, home décor and creative direction, and most importantly know how to take care of people and their customers. If they’re not in the store one the day you visit, or if the place is just jammed with people, come back for a truly fantastic experience. Amazing, unique antiques; incredible gifts; and you might even find some one-​off items that you would never expect to find anywhere else! The Freckled Frog. Well done guys!

My mom and I browsed through this store the weekend of Easter. Absolutely adorable things and very affordable. Nice upscale boutique with reasonable prices. We purchased a few things and I will definitely be back for more. Love the complex it’s in. Southcreek is really becoming the new place to be!

A fairly new store with a variety of decorative items for ones home. It at the moment is set for the Christmas season with a lot of Christmas themed décor along with non themed items.
The folks running the place seem to be very friendly.
We did not take long in the store today as we were short on time, but could have spent more time checking things out and perhaps bought something, but that day will come.
