The wait staff needs to focus on serving customers instead of their own social lives. The restaurant was less than half full but there was a line waiting to be seated. Decided to go elsewhere.

Timber lodge offers a nice retreat from the airport before boarding the plane. The menu is American fare, with wine, cocktail, and beer choices. There are some small screen tv’s at the bar area located in the center of the restaurant. Floor to ceiling Windows for nice views of the Tarmac. The restaurant is nicely laid out with plenty of space to have your luggage near you when you done. Charging for electronics is available at the bar area. The food was good and the service was excellent. The prices are about the same as any chain restaurant. A recommend for catching a bite and a drink while you are in the airport.

If I could rate this negative star, I would. This place is just awful. We ordered the grill chicken flatbread was so dry, the French fries was cold, and the salmon was also dry as a rock. I would never come back here.

Service at the bar is terrible. Not once have I received a «You’re welcome» for the many thanks I give. Nachos are supposed to be smothered in queso, but taste as though they are drizzled with Velveeta. And they are cool at best. There are a grand total of 6 people sitting at the bar, with 2 ‘tenders on staff, yet my order was still screwed up. And my check was not corrected without my asking. Nick and Steve: if all you are interested in is a paycheck, go work at 7 – 11. The cashier that assisted me earlier today was more cheerful than you 2 combined. The management on site seem more concerned with rather or not the staff clocked out for their breaks than what sort of service the customers are receiving.

Sucks Type of drink from the bars was not what was ordered. Soup was cold and chips in dip are stale. Yeah, it’s an airport restaurant but could have been better. Service was also slow.

Stopped by to grab a salad before my flight. The restaurant itself is that mountain Tahoe décor and offers a large breakfast-lunch-dinner menu and full bar. Ordered a chicken salad to go at the walk up counter, $ 16 I think. It was good, basic with field greens, dried cranberries, avacado, seeds and grilled chicken.

The view and décor are both great. I had the grilled salmon and brown rice. It was delish. If I’m ever in this airport again I’ll be sure to stop by here.

Must of been under staffed. So I can’t say much about the food or service because I never got either. Sat down for about 6 to 7 minutes and was told they would bring me a menu. In the next 5 to 7 minutes she must of passed my 4 times and no menu still. Thinking if I already wasted this much time how long would it take to get the food. So walked out and went to the tap house on concourse c. Which the food was crappy. I’m so use to Portland airport that have great restaurants.

Bad servers and manager! Only good one that helped everyone was Danica. Food is decent.

This was deplorable. From the outside, it looked promising. Lots of tall windows, full bar, decent number of beer on draught, thoughtful construction. And…that’s where the positives ended. At the hostess station. Our server was no-nensense, unfriendly, unhelpful and outright rude. The only time she caught our eye was when we left the check and expected a tip. I ordered the french dip sandwich as some good roast beef sounded tasty, and [so I though] you can’t go wrong if there is fresh au jus to dip everything in. Oh, how I was so wrong. The roast beef was 100% processed. I could not even eat it. You know that meat is muscle, right? And that muscle has fibers? This was completely flat, thin sliced brown something(think tough spam with a paint job) with a meager processed white cheese slice in the middle. The au jus was salty water, and not worth a dip. Ugh. So, for $ 12, I ate a roll. Not impressed. Would definitely NOT recommend eating here when at the Reno airport. A sandwich from Peet’s is probably your best bet.

Nice looking place for a bite at the Reno airport. However, food and service was meh. I ordered the Elderflower fizz which had gin and other ingredients. It was bitter and not very flavorful so I had to send it back. My coworker wasn’t crazy about her cocktail either. My herb brined chicken was actually quite tasty though it tasted like it was boiled and then sautéed. The veggies were lots of onions, red pepper, hard broccoli, etc. Service was pretty slow.

Woah this airport is so small! If you’re hungry I recommend to come here as A– there aren’t many other options, and B– the food and atmosphere are pretty alright! Fun fact, when we landed in Reno I jokingly said ‘I feel like we landed somewhere in Alaska’ as there are mounted animals and nature scenes throughout the gate areas. This restaurant falls right into that whole awesome log-cabin feel, and I like it. After a trip to Tahoe I now ‘get’ the décor, by the way. Back to the food. I got a burger which was cooked the way I specified and it had a nice char to it. It wasn’t some fat and juicy artfully crafted fancy thing, it was just a normal patty but it was well cooked and it hit the spot. The fries that come with it were crispy and good. My husband went the opposite way and got a veggie stirfry which he liked a lot(I thought it was too sweet). It does get busy in here, so it may not be the best place if you have to catch a plane or something(ba-dum-tsss). Matter of fact, we waited a long time for our waitress to approach us and an even longer time for our waters, but luckily we weren’t in a hurry. The restaurant has big windows that overlook the tarmack, so if you’re a plane nerd you get to watch them while munching on some food.

Just had a Bloody Mary, so incomplete review, but this Sriracha Bloody Mary is just fantastic. Price a little high at $ 13, but for an excellent Mary with a double shot and an awesome view in the airport? Not too shabby

Not all the airport restaurants have to be bad ones. This place is really decent! I’ve eaten here twice: one time breakfast and other time lunch. The breakfast meal was my favorite! I had an American breakfast with black coffee. I really enjoyed my coffee it was very black and it tasted like real coffee. For the breakfast I got two eggs(over hard, that’s how I like them), two slices of bacon, home style potatoes and two slices of whole wheat bread. The breakfast was good! My favorite part were those potatoes mmmm they were really good! Our server was friendly, she brought is water and tried to give me a coffee refill but I didn’t need more. The bread was really good too. My eggs were perfectly made. The bacon was crispy and greasy just as it is! At the end she wished us a good trip. This restaurant is really nice and any time I have time during flights I would definitely eat here! The restaurant is also pretty nice, they have a good seating area, beautiful view and a lodge type decoration.

Beer was great, servant as well. Grilled Salmon Caesar Salad took way too long, salmon tasted like it was microwaved and just thrown on the pile of salad…

After a two hour delay, the BF and I decided to get off of our butts in the waiting area and eat at Timber Ridge. I wasn’t expecting much, considering how small RNO is and the limited number of dining options, but I was happy with the service and food we received at Timber Ridge. We ordered a chicken tender entrée to share between the two of us. The food came out very quickly. It was tasty and just what we wanted. I noticed that the restaurant and servers were very attentive of how quickly people needed their meals in order to make their flights, while also allowing customers who were trying to kill some time some peace and quiet to relax. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone stuck in RNO with some time to kill.

It was the morning of December 26, 2014, and I had already been up for two hours, without food, when I finally got through the security line. I saw only two possibilities for breakfast — McDonald’s and Timber Ridge. Even though Timber Ridge looked expensive, I figured, hey, it’s still Christmas, and went inside to find myself a table. The restaurant only had about four tables occupied. I was the only single person at a table. I waited for one of the waitresses I saw scurrying through the restaurant to bring a menu, a glass of water, maybe an offer of coffee. And I waited. And I waited. And I waited some more. McDonald’s was looking better and better. I watched the activity around me. Yep, three waitresses hanging around, taking care of the other tables, and barely glancing in my direction. I glanced at my cell phone — yes, I’d been sitting there for 10 minutes. I was reaching for my backpack when a waiter finally found me. His name was Adam. I don’t know what kind of delicate negotiations were going on in the kitchen among the serving staff —«you take her.» «No, you take her, she looks like a cheapskate» — and I don’t know where Adam came from, since I hadn’t seen him wandering like the waitresses. But I settled back down and took the menu he offered me, and the coffee he poured for me. I think the coffee was Peet’s, which isn’t common in the Midwest. It is very strong, definitely too strong for me. I watered it down, and I drank it, but I still didn’t like it much. The prices here are airport prices — very high. The breakfast I had was good, but tainted by the poor service — excuse me, complete and total lack of service I’d had — until Adam showed up. He was professional, I was very hungry, and I ordered, ate, and left him a big tip. This would be a 4-star review, if I’d gotten prompt service. I finally did get proper service and my meal, but next time I go through Reno, I’ll be going to McDonald’s for breakfast. Their coffee is more to my liking, too.

Beautiful restaurant and bar. Our flight to Las Vegas was delayed, so we posted up here for a few hours. As far as bar/restaurants at reno airport go, this is by far the nicest; best food selection and plenty of alcohol to choose from. But, the quality of food quality sort of subtracts 1 star from the experience. Chelsea, our server was awesome. She was super friendly, efficient and easy to talk to. We got the mammoth epic IPA for 7.75(for a 16oz) it’s filtered, dry hopped, from a micro brew. Cool they carry it. But over priced. the food: nachos, 8.99 for regular nacho cheese. Good chip quality, Nice pico de gallo, few black beans and sour cream and pickled jalapeños. I feel they should have given more toppings. They looked like garnished.

Timber Lodge is one of two food options you get after going through security at the Reno Airport; the other is McDonald’s. My bf and I chose to go here due to the plethora of TV’s so he could watch a big football game. Upon entering, there was a sign that told us to seat ourselves but no empty/clean tables. Whether the restaurant was understaffed, I’m not sure. What I do know is we tried to find a seat for 20 minutes and ended up sitting at a dirty table. Grabbed our own menus, grabbed our own silverware. For dinner I ordered the chicken tenders and fries– safe enough choice you’d think. I was wrong. The chicken tenders came out in very skinny, curved pieces. They were the strangest looking things I’ve ever seen and tasted bland. My bf ordered the burger and said it was«okay.» Thankfully we got the check quickly and chose to sit at our gate instead. Ultimately, low quality food and understaffed restauraunt for a moderate price. Next time I’ll pack a turkey sandwich.

This is a real nice place to come sit down and enjoy a nice meal… however, it is loud with the overhead music… way too loud for me. With that said… the food I sampled was very tasty. The menu is about the right size with choices and a good variety. I ordered the soup of the day as my starter… Potato & bacon soup… perhaps it was slightly on the thick side, but it tasted great. I followed that with the chicken lettuce wraps found on the app menu… pretty tasty and they come with a Thai peanut sauce for dipping. The wraps were very good but just slightly too large, thus I spilled alot trying to eat them. I wonder if having the lettuce on the side would work better, that way you could build your wraps to your size comfortably. Service was good, the waitress Lucia was warm & friendly, and prompt with my order and drink. All said and done, a nice restaurant with a nice atmosphere… a bit loud… but definitely worth considering next time you are at Reno Tahoe International and you hear the familiar growl shouting hunger. I will come back, and I hope to see you there!!!
