Second time i have gone to your pharmacy(store #2662). the manager doesn’t manage. had to ask to see her 3 times before she appeared. the waiting line for the pharmacy was 10 deep. she finally appeared and said she was«on her break.» can’t she or you manage your clerks to cover(help) when«the corner of happy & healthy» has a l-o-n-g line to serve? the clerk said she asked(paged for help) 3 times earlier and no one came. last time i or many of the others in line will go to store #2662.

It’s 3:45 am and I’m dying of thirst(from drinking all night). I get up, fill the hotel glass with about 9 glasses of Reno water, but I’m still not satisfied. I grab my clothes and car keys and head to my ride. I drive South on S. Virgina Street two blocks to the 24 hour Walgreen’s on the corner. 24 pack of bottled Arrowhead Water — $ 4.99 and no state tax of course. I’m cool with a place that’s open 24⁄7. You never know when you might need that water or candy bar fix.

Walgreen’s are great. They are open late and always have something cool. But this one was made speciall by the super fun checker who went out of her way to be friendly and help us.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Absolute worst pharmacy in the area and beyond. After having to walk out one day because we waited 20 minutes at the pharmacy counter to drop off a prescription, I(stupidly) went back since it was the closest pharmacy that already had our information. My daughter was sick with a strep infection and we needed it to be fast. The woman at the counter said to come back in 45 minutes(seriously, isn’t that twice the normal wait time anywhere else?). We came back in an hour and after waiting 15 minutes to be helped, the woman simply said, ‘we don’t know what happened, it wasn’t filled. Would you like to wait again.’ Uh, no thanks. No apology, no attempt to ease my obvious dissatisfaction. Se handed me back the Rx and we walked out. Went to the Target 6 minutes away, were met with quick and courteous help and they had the Rx filled in 10 minutes(the kids got icees while we waited in a clean cafeteria). If you have to go to Walgreens, go to the one at Arrowcreek and Virgina. Cleaner and friendlier, but any chain that employs the incompetent fools at the Moana store will not get my business ever again.

I was in desperate need of my Clear Care contact solution since security stole it from me. Yes. THEYSTOLEIT!!! It was in the insisted 3 ounces… in a one liter plastic bag. It was clearly contact solution but since it had hydrogen peroxide, they deemed in extremely unsafe. We had to drive around in the middle of the night after I arrived searching for a 24 hour Walgreen. Did I mention that there were shady characters in Reno? Yeah… there was some sort of police activity involving a truck in the parking lot… Lovely…

2 stars because this is probably the biggest walgreens i’ve ever seen. but dang, the rent a cop inside and the cashiers were following us like crazy — i saw them outta the corner of my eye. all we wanted was freakin’ toothpaste. seemed like there was some homeless people and a couple of cars packed with people smoking dope or whatever. anyway, it’s close to downtown so if you’re staying at one of the hotels downtown, come here instead of your hotel’s sundries shop.

Despite being the second biggest Walgreen’s I’ve ever been too, this must be the worst Walgreen’s ever. I don’t know if it was because we were the only three customers there, or if it were the employees who seemed paranoid to have three Asian men walking around looking for toothpaste at night, or if it were stragglers outside in their cars doing God knows what, there was just something about this place that was off.

Mother of all she-ott holes: dusty products, limited selection, and scary location. I witnessed a white trash smackdown of epic proportions between an irate customer, the nasty checkout clerk and the dazed-looking manager. I was just trying to pay for my stuff and get back to the casino, but the other clerks had abandoned their posts to watch the fun and probably get a little side action on the fight. If I were the dishonest type, I could have hightailed it outta there with a five-finger discount on my Advil.

3 stars for the graveyard staff because they are the greatest. It loses stars because I don’t work there anymore, and I ruled. This store doesn’t have half the edge I bet it had when I was there. Homeless people, drug drama, gender confused strippers. Reno 911 has nothing on what this store deals with every night starting 10 p. m-8a.m.
