Scolari’s Food & Drug Company

It’s just a bad credit grocery store I mean it is a bit over priced but if I need to get something small or only a few things it makes sense to come here rather than wasting gas and going somewhere else .
I’ve noticed the selection is kinda lacking and we’ll some of the employees look like they hate working there plus they can have attitudes sometimes.

I actually like their produce here. They have papayas and they are better priced than Whole Foods and Trader Joe. Just a bit cheaper in general. And the produce quality can be compared to its rivals. Would definitely shop here again.

This is the closest grocery store to my house, but not the cheapest, so I usually don’t stop in here too often. I seem to always have a hard time finding things in this store. Maybe it’s just because I’m not as familiar with its layout as with other stores.
I like their selection of cheeses and dips in the little refrigerated section before you get to the produce. I always find something that sounds good. Produce section looks nice and is usually well stocked, but it doesn’t have much more than your basic vegetables and fruits. The meat section is pretty great, but I think one time I had a hard time finding chicken breasts which I thought was weird. Before we had our own meat slicer, we would have the butcher thinly slice an entire London broil for us so we could make jerky. I like getting that kind of service and I feel that Scolari’s still offers services like this that bigger stores just don’t anymore.
They emphasize local products throughout their store, which is nice for finding local brands that did know existed or that you have a hard time finding elsewhere. And finally, I love that they have self-​checkout because it makes that trip for one or two items all that much quicker.

So, I really wish they would remodel or update this scolaris, but I know they won’t since they are starting to close other locations.
It is a basic grocery store but many items are over priced. Bakery is definitely lacking. Customer service is always nice though.
As far as location, not the worst but not best. Don’t recommend coming at night.

Everyone is friendly, there is Two Redbox kiosks, Open 24 hours, once in awhile they have some good deals. Not the cheapest place to get groceries but they sell a lot of good local businesses food and drinks. Also they have a little gambling area. Now go get shopping.

As far as grocery stores go, I think Scolari‘s is on the pricey side. When doing bulk shopping, I definitely go somewhere more affordable, but when I’m picking up just a few things, I always go to Scolari‘s. The store is always clean, they keep things well stocked, but mainly, I go here because I love the customer service. They are all so friendly, sociable and overall, lovely. (Which is not something you get out of every shopping experience, as we all know!) Even though, I like saving a buck when I can, I’ll continue to shop at Scolari’s because I’d their outstanding customer service.

It’s the closet store and though I usually go to Winco for my big shopping Scolar’s just did something amazing. They put the nutritional value on their products. with a rating from 1 to 100. This helps me decide from breads, cereals., tortillas and lots of other stuff. What a great idea. Packing is so untruthful.

Good, clean, friendly, close to home.
prices are a little high on most items, and have had issues with inadvertently buying expired food (check the dates on the dairy)

I like Scolari’s for the fact that it’s the little, hometown guy that seems to keep up with the bigs. However, it seems like this store will be going the way of Lemmon Valley… Please, spend a few bucks and update this place. It’s tough to walk in the front doors!
I’ll keep coming and supporting, but please, make the joint a touch nicer to experience.
