fresh! fast & delicious! everything from light healthy fair(chicken/shrimp wraps) to warmer heavier comfort food(sandwiches & curry). the guys who work here are so nice & always smiling. love stopping in here during the week to pick up a quick work lunch. even have sidewalk/outdoor seating — awesome during seattle summers!

I went in this place a few times last summer and had vietnamese sandwiches for lunch. The sign on the outside of the restaurant said Vietnamese sandwiches but they were never on the menu. You just had to ask for them. Today, I went in for lunch and it looks like it is undergoing a transition. There is a new lunch menu which was limited and still without any vietnamese food on it. Although I think they always give me the American menu because I am white. I had some beef kobe sliders that were really good with a lot of blue cheese and thousand island sauce. I ordered fries but they forgot to cook them until my burger was already done so she brought them out separate. Fries were just frozen crinkle cut. The only charged me $ 7 for the sliders but I am not sure if I got the fries for free or if the fries always come free with the sliders. The place was empty as usual at 11:30 am but the inside looks really different. The Vietnamese signs and decorations are gone. It looks like new paint on the outside. They still have a stage but I think they just have DJ’s in here sometimes at night. I am still not sure if this place wants to be an American restaurant, Vietnamese, breakfast place, lunch place, dinner place, bar, or dance club. I don’t really get it.

This place is somewhere I couldn’t have imagined just choosing on my own but a friend took us for breakfast and YEEHAW! There’s a huge dining area with a few booths and big tables(party of 10? no wait and no problem) and great food. The waitstaff are super SUPER nice, the cook gives my little one extra treats and even a refill on her hot chocolate with a pound of whipped cream. The food is reasonably priced until it shows up and you’re like ‘Holy Basil” the portions are HUGE. The homefries are red taters with huge peices of onion and green peppers — delish! My ham omelette w/homefries and toast at about $ 8 had about a pound of fresh delicious cubed ham in it and my daughter’s ‘short stack’ was two HUGE blueberry pancakes for under $ 5. Large screen TV was playing the football game so hubby was as happy as pie too. SCORE!
