Orale Cabron! That used to be the common greeting from the Latin homies back when I was living in LA… Little did I know the actual meaning until I was a older… SMH. One thing I sure missed when I moved to the PNW was a spot for some good Mexican food! Enter El Riconsito *yai yai yai yai Ariba Ariba*! El Riconsito has been around for a while now and I used to get at the Bellevue/Redmond location when I lived near there but now that I live in Ren’en, there is conveniently a spot less than 5 min from the crib! Boo yaa! Everything that I’ve had here is delicious and have had no complaints! From the very friendly staff to the delicious cuisine, if ya haven’t been, give them a shot! I guess what initially got me to try this place out was their tacos. No no, not them hard shelled joints with ground beef and fake cheese in them. The ones on the corn tortillas with chopped up carne asada! Ooooo weee they are good! For less than $ 10, you can get three tacos, beans and rice and a drink! Some of my other favorites are the taquito’s rancheros and torta’s. The cool thing about this location is they have a drive-thru which is super convenient! The one thing I wish they had was a washroom inside the restaurant, but other than that, great food, great service!

Excellent Mexican food. A lot of choices on the menu. Walk in or drive thru. Your choice. This is as close as you’ll get to authentic compared to Taco Time, Taco Bell, La Fuente, etc. We loved it and plan to eat here every week!

Definitely a great go-to for some tacos! Drive tough doesn’t usually take too long, depending on what you order. But the food is always yummy!

Good food, decent prices. The lunch prices have increased a bit over the last year, and drive through orders take forever, but still worth the visit if you are in the area.

We stopped in here after my daughters soccer game because it had good Unilocal reviews. The food was pretty good and tasted authentic. Prices were reasonable and portions were decent sized. They had a pretty big selection of items to choose from and some of the items even had calorie counts(not that I want to know when eating mexican food– lol). The ambiance was similar to eating at a food court in the airport — not much to speak of. Service was quick and kids loved the food. All told, a decent place and we might stop again if we were in the area.

This place offers a wide variety of Mexican food! Their tacos have great flavors. They use slightly fried corn tortillas. They don’t necessarily give you lots of meat or fillings for the tacos though. I’ve also had burritos here, which were alright as well, too much beans and rice in my opinion. I really like their little salsa bar. It has six different kinds of salsa, pico de gallo, sliced lime wedges, and pickled carrots and jalapenos.

I’m actually sad that we moved to TX and won’t be back at this place. The food was great and the menu had a ton of choices. My husband loved the different variety of salsas that their salsa bar offered. This coming from a Native Texan says a lot. They are quite busy during lunch but the service is very quick and the employees are very kind. The Carne Asada had a ton of wonderful flavor. The only tiny complaint that may vary depending on the person would be that the food is a bit salty. I will however say that I was raised on a salt free diet so I’m not really the person to answer the question was it overly salty. My husband was very pleased with his lunch. Would we return: Definitely if we still lived in the area.

This restaurant is our go to Mexican place when we are in Renton! Food is pretty authentic Mexican Food. My spouse grew up in Southern CA, near the Mexican border, and the food at this restaurant is comfort food for him. Lots of Hispanics frequent this restaurant. They keep the dining area clean, and the service is good. The servers are friendly and nice. You order and pay at the counter, then they give you a number to place on your table and they deliver your food at your table. I usually order enchiladas with rice and refried beans, and my hubby normally orders the tacos. They have a bar where you help your self to salsa, pico de gallo, radishes and pickled carrots, and lime wedges. If you order a beverage, they give you a glass and you fill it yourself. Nothing fancy, but very tasty food. Lots of parking around the restaurant, and there is a drive through where you can order food to go. Resstaurant is kid friendly and very casual

This is a great little place for Mexican food. It’s fairly authentic also. Friendly atmosphere and wait staff. If I weren’t watching the amount of carbs I am eating, this would be a regular place for me.

I have not been able to find good Mexican food here in Washington except for this place. I have been here a few times and its so good! I love how they have free refills on the aguas. The horchata is perfection! Just like Mexico! So far everything I have tired here is so good. Its a bit pricey and there is one rude cashier, but the other ladies are so nice and so is the owner? I am not sure if he is or not but he is very nice.

Came on advice from others. They were busy! I enjoyed a 3 taco plate that was really tasty. Good flavors with the onions and cilantro. The rest of the meal options we tried were just ok. I would come back for the tacos.

My boyfriend took me here and told me it was better than some of the taco trucks we tried. I didn’t believe him at first but now… I’m thankful that he took me here. I had some of the best enchiladas and torta ever. I can’t wait to come back and try some of their other stuff.

This place has long been a favorite of mine. A Mexican restaurant with a loyal clientele ranging back a decade has got to be doing something right! Their tacos are no bigger than 4 inches across, so you can eat a whole plate of tacos without feeling guilty. Plus they load them with fresh pico de gallo and homemade salsas. I have been back two of the past 3 nights for their fish taco special– 3 fish tacos for $ 3.60. Filling, satisfying, healthy, and cost effective! They have an impressive salsa bar with salsas that range from mild to fire. I think there were 5 varieties when I went. And their chips and salsa are free even with a takeout order! Take that Chipotle! I have recently discovered that they are a franchise and have locations in northern Bellevue and another near the airport– two places where I spend a lot of time!

Every time I’ve driven past Taqueria El Rinconsito, I’ve noticed the long line in the drive-thru, so I finally decided to see what all the fuss was about. First and foremost, the drive thru is fairly slow so be prepared to wait for about 10 minutes if there’s more than 1 car in line. With that being said, the 10 minutes is worth the wait… at least for the shredded beef gorditas(it’s the only item I’ve tried so far). At only $ 2.50, you get a large serving of meat, refried beans, cotija cheese, and tomatoes. It’s mmm mmm good!

Interesting layout for a Mexican restaurant with drive through service even though this place isn’t really a fast food type of restaurant. Not a very interesting looking interior, but at least it was clean. The one gal who took our order did all the bussing and serving of the food to all the tables. I had ordered a burrito and it was a nice big size. It came with rice, beans and beef. I liked the fact that they had a salsa bar where you can add different spiciness of salsas. They had from not hot at all to very hot. You can also put your own pico de gallo on your order from the salsa bar. Too bad it was dried out from being out too long otherwise it would’ve been great. It’s a bit more expensive than what I thought it would be since my gf only got soft tacos and 3 of them costed more than $ 5. For my burrito it was a bit over $ 5, but worth it to me. Plus drinks were overpriced. Next time I come I wouldn’t mind giving their $ 4.99 weekday lunch special to see what they offer. On a side note, they don’t offer any restrooms to restaurant patrons.
