Roadhouse Cafe

Okay, so there is nothing else to do in Rescue… the Roadhouse Café is a fun kind of dive. It is VERY small on the inside with a variety of characters waiting on you… mostly friends of the owners. They forget your drinks a lot but on Saturday nights they usually have some music so it usually isn’t a problem unless it’s really hot outside on their large patio and you are thirsty. Their children are running all over the place and sometimes even a 7 or 8 year old is wiping down your table… if it gets wiped down at all. The food is marginal. They serve buffalo burgers, burgers, tri-​tip sandwiches etc. all with homemade chips that are nice and greasy. Be sure you call to see if they are open as it seems that we’ve gone to get lunch and they’ve been closed. Some friends went by for breakfast and they were closed. It seems like they are not always open during their posted hours.
