This review is based on other Denny’s. Denny’s is what it is. This Denny’s was better than most. Staff was friendly. Food seemed like it was prepared better than normal and the coffee comes quick. I thought it was a delight.

Horrible service… all the employees looked like they hated their job… my skillet was burned and when brought to the managers attention she gave me attitude. Never again will we be eating there.

Worst denny’s we’ve been so far. Service, food prep and serving are so bad. The server actually served the food without utensils(we have to ask) then the dinner we ordered was serve one at time with different plate. Mac and cheese was the worst i didn’t know they sell mac and cheese coming that kraft box. Our waitress last night was just not good in customer service. Just bad experienced to many to say.

We meet here every Thursday and it’s quite pleasant place. The staff is nice and we get great service. They have many combinations of breakfast to enjoy and are seasonal in their fruit for the fruit bowls.

Not at all satisfied. Didn’t catch the waitress’s name, but she wasn’t at all friendly and rushed us to order as we sat down. Our orange juice was never brought to the table, and the coffee was so full of grounds I couldn’t drink it. I highly recommend the Placerville one instead, always great service there.

What happened this morning? Come in the door and get seated right away. Servers galore but nobody comes by to take my order for 10 minutes. This crew is running around with their heads off. I come her once a week and generally service is awesome. Once our server hit the table things got a lot better but the fact a customer can sit 10 minutes without being greeted is not acceptable.

Stopped by this location after a long Business day… friendly service by Gina, my food came well prepared, and never had to ask for a refill! Will stop by in my travels again!

I have had worse food and service… although cannot remember when. Never have I had a restaurant(or other type of business) handle a complaint a poorly as «Ken» who identified himself as the General Manager. The scrambled eggs they served me were horrible… tasted like warm uncooked pancake batter. I had my companions taste them and they agreed. This is where it gets even worse. I asked to speak with the manager and he had a very bad attitude. When I asked him to write his name down for me he wrote«Ken» on the back of the bill. I asked him to also write his last name and he refused, said he was the General Manager, SLAMMED the bill onto the table, and stomped off. During this entire exchange I was persistent but very civil and his attitude and actions were quite a surprise. Needless to say I will not be back.

Just left this place. It should be checked out by the health department. Besides the obvious cleansing issues, there are food issues. I ordered the toast with our meals and it was delivered with a side of mold. When I brought this to the waitress’ attention, she took it to the manager whom had to be called a couple times until he showed up after the meal was done. Then issued what appeared to be his rehearsed apology(I’m sorry, we just purchased the bread, I’ll send you out some new toast) and left. Waited about 10 minutes and had to go. Bread never came. When I got to the counter, I let him know I never received the toast and he says I’ll give you 15% off, to which I reply I get that anyway with my AARP card. He says that’s all I can do. If you have dined at this location and are feeling sick, you might want to start investigating there.

I will never go to this Denny’s again. They will NOT accommodate a special request. Since I do not eat meat I asked to change the meat selection for hashbrowns instead. BTW I have had this done at this restaurant before. I was told I would be charged MORE for switching a more expensive meat for a much less expensive hashbrown. The MGR could not explain to me how that makes sense instead kept blaming his bosses for tying his hands. Sorry I don’t believe that. I have managed businesses before and know you can do just about anything to keep your customers happy. Denny’s lost a customer over a potato. Nice going Denny’s

I am extremely embarrassed of this place. Not only is it extremely filthy, but the service is very poor. We arrived at 10:05am and didn’t get our food until 10:45am. There were 2 other families that came in after us and they got their food before us. They never checked on us(or the other families unless it was to drop off the food) so our coffee was cold and the kids were ready to go by the time our food came. I went to let the manager know the situation and he was completely apologetic and very understanding. I will come back because of how well he handled the situation.

I enjoyed my pancakes and coffee. But my reason for 2 stars would have to be because the waitress feels a bit rude. I understand iI ordered only coffee and pancakes, not the most expensive on the menu but she was like«that’s it?»… and has had a rude attitude towards me. Anyways, at least my pancakes were pretty good.

Honestly, this place is beyond disappointing. I have been there a couple times, all of which the servers try to push you out as quick as they can, meaning they completely rush you to eat and get out. There are other downfalls however; in one experience I had there my friend ended up with a coffee that had a fresh lipstick mark on the cup, and in the same visit another friend of mine specifically ordered her food vegetarian style which the server completely disregarded and brought it with meat anyway. We were all beyond appalled at this service and needless to say we sent it back without wanting another. The service overall is so disappointing, dare I say the servers are borderline condescending. There is one male server in particular that I’ve encountered a few times and because of the way he has treated us, I will not be going back. He was younger with a darker complexion, very short/bald hair, and has worn the«Under Armor» brand of clothing each time I’ve seen him. If the poor cleanliness/lack of care for customer/rushing wasn’t enough, I will be sure to not go back because of him alone. I realize this is a Denny’s, but really, step it up.

This restaurant is an embarrassment to Cameron Park and the area. The sidewalk is filthy as if the front of the business. I can’t believe that any business man or woman would dare let his or her restaurant look this dirty and disgusting. If they keep the outside this filthy I wonder what the kitchen looks like?

Ok so this is not a family friendly place!!! If you have hungry kids they will take their sweet peachy keen time bringing you anything. It took our server 20 minutes to even greet us, then we got our drinks after our food! Oh and then if you order a salad make sure you check your dressing first! And the soup you ordered you won’t get until it’s nice and room temp. Then I after I explained the whole situation the manager caught an attitude like it was my fault that my server was an idiot! They won’t take off the food that was obviously screwed up… Oh and last but not least have you ever been to a place that doesn’t serve water?!? Yeah I will be calling corporate and I encourage all with bad reviews to do the same!

The hostess was sullen and argued with a coworker about taking another table. Then we sat 15 minutes without anyone taking our order. We were told our waiter was taking food to a table and would be right there. When it hit 15 minutes with no waiter, we left.

Pretty average and pleasant Denny’s experience. My boyfriend and I went here for breakfast on a late-ish Sunday morning and we were seated immediately in a cozy booth. I was ready to gorge on some pancakes, so I went with the«Build Your Own Grand Slam». I was able to select four items from the list and create the perfect breakfast combo. I went with pancakes, sausage, bacon, and a side of toast. Yes, a total carboload breakfast, but oh well! My boyfriend got a belgian waffle with a side of eggs over easy. Our waitress was attentive although not too friendly, but oh well. Denny’s are hit or miss as far as service goes. Our breakfasts were served and everything was perfect. I was waiting to see if something was screwed up on my customized Grand Slam but everything I had ordered was correct. The pancakes(of course) were the best part. Hot, fluffy, and flavorful. My boyfriend’s waffle looked good as well but he needed to ask for extra syrup since those waffles can soak up every single drop. My toast was a little bland but that was to be expected since it was basic white toast. I added some jam for extra flavor. Overall, my breakfast was just a typical, average Denny’s meal but those pancakes are so darn good. On our way out, my boyfriend purchased a Denny’s mug(he’s a hardcore coffee drinker) for five bucks. Just a little souvenir to commemorate our breakfast experience! We would come back again.

I don’t usually like to eat at Dennys. But since I was in a unfamiliar place and it was pretty late. My boyfriend and I decided to grab a bite at this Dennys. Service: Excellent service! Our waiter was wonderful! Absolutely wonderful! He made friendly, small but professional conversations. He was quick to notice a empty coffee cup or that we were about to ask him for something. EXCELLENT! Food: It’s a denny’s. The food taste decent, but nothing spectacular. It just taste like fast food but a little better. Overall: Great place! If i’m ever in the neighborhood again and it’s late. I would definitely come back.
