Chase Bank

It’s nice to see the indoor teller machines placed in this bank.
I think the banking experience in this specific Chase (and others) may very well hinge on one’s willingness (or lack there of) to adopt and to embrace the new banking tech changes.
At first, using teller machines might be intimidating, and that’s ok.
My rule of thumb: if you can work with the outside ATM Chase machines, use a smartphone of your own, you’re more than qualified and capable of using the indoor teller machine (plus its safer too).
For starters, try coming in at an odd hour of the week (usually early in the morning) where there aren’t that many people. Most of the time these teller machines will be empty, since customers are understandably skeptical and resistant to change (sort of like me, at the beginning).
Take your time, whether it be deposit, withdrawal (larger limit than outdoors), etc, as you stand in front of the screen. It may take a few seconds figuring out how it works (don’t let this scare you; remember, you are qualified — Ph. D level qualified), but recall you don’t have the added pressure of dealing with people sighing behind your back in line (for the time being, until everyone else catches up).
Give it one more try in the same week or next (perhaps you’ll get it the first time like me). As you get comfortable with it, you’ll be able to move in/​out of the bank while other people wait in line to see the bank staff carryout similar teller machine functions.
It will add more convenience to your time and shave off anxiety about waiting in line and planning around an already hectic day.
Just a little flexibility on your part and your banking experience will be an even more enjoyable, carefree one.

First of all it sucks to be a chase customer. The trying to get it done with few people long lines. Poor costumer service.

Chase at this location is very bad. The parking lot is always full, only one person at the window, stale smell… I’m always spending 12 – 25 mins to get in and out. Very bad.

Huge plaza parking lot no issues with that. The service is just ok, they can defiantly improve that comparing to other locations. The plus is usually no waiting time

I would give no stars due to the fact that the employees there are extremely rude and don’t know what they are talking about tried to open a account at 5:20 pm and the guy and girl there said they were about to close and they didn’t have time for my banking needs, worst bank in the 818 by far go, do your banking at a bank that actually wants your business !!

Don’t expect to get in and out at this bank. Now that they got rid of almost all their actual tellers for machines if you want to speak to a teller it’ll take awhile. There’s ussually only 1 at the window wige 5 – 6 people wait in line. This bank used to be so great. Quick service. But not anywhere. I dread going into the bank since I know it’ll take at least 20 mins if not way more. The manager just watches.

Had way better service at others Chase Banks. Walk in for notary service guy tells me just have a sit he will get somebody. Some lady named Angie walks over being loud asking me what I want. No hello? Tell her looking for notary service she says we do very little then asks while standing in the middle of a group of customers what service I needed. I tell her its private and I dont want others to know. We go to a cubicle then 3 other angry customers walk up and complain they were next. She was rude telling me I was suppose to sign the paper. I told her the guy when I came in just to me to go to her. She needs to improve customers skills and more direction on what you should when walkjng in. Small sign maybe. Gabriel was the guy who hepled me he was great! She could take some lessons from him :)

Very friendly staff. They recently added huge screen machines that saved me time by completing two transactions (pretty much like an ATM but more modern).
I hope they consider lighting the place up a bit. It’s really depressing in there. Indoor plant and tree fund must have gone to the robot ATMs.

This is a pretty awesome location. Depending on what day you come they have quite alot of people to help you. I say depending on the day because they don’t always have a greeter asking you if you want something to drink or if maybe one of the personal bankers can help you. I’m in here alot on fridays cashing checks and breaking change and for the most part they are very friendly. I even got a debit card replaced in 10 minutes on the spot with one of the personal bankers. Points for friendliness at this location. Giving you guys 5 stars.
Plus outside you have 2 – 3 Atms as opposed to the standard 2 Atm’s I see at some locations.

I like this branch of Chase since it is close to the Von’s market and the Starbucks that I frequent the most.
They have a remarkable level of customer service here and just about any employee in there can lead you in the right direction with your financial needs.
It is cool to walk in and usually have someone waiting at the door just to greet you. It kind of makes you feel like you are at home.

I’m over here trying to be a baller and walk around with stacks of $ 2 bills and these people don’t have any most of the time. I gotta go to others. Besides that they have awesome service!

There are Sales and Service Associates and then there are the ones that stand out and make a difference in the help that one receives and diminishing the frustrations.
I had an emergency and needed to transfer monies from an account on East Coast to Los Angeles. The bank on the East Coast made it rather difficult with all the requirements that they wanted in order to complete the transaction.
When I went to the local branch in Reseda and met Shiva Shahabi. She came up to me, asked what she can do, listened to my frustrations and gave me alternate ideas of how to solve my problem — things that I didn’t think of doing. I love when customer service employees really, really use their minds and education and come up with suggestions that can really work. Shiva is one of those people who comes equipped with a mind that works and things outside the box. Thank you Shiva… I know you’ll do well — whatever your ambition.
