Great ice cream as always! There was a line out the door on a Saturday night but the employees were efficient and we got through it very quickly. The shop is doing some flavor twists so look out for that, I got Tubby Hubby which was peanut butter with pretzels.

Not sure why this place has such critical reviews. Stopped in there two evenings ago and found the service to be very friendly, quick and attentive. Probably the best service in what’s otherwise a very snotty Reston Town Center. Pricey — yes, but that’s true for all brick-and-mortar ice cream shops in the mall/town centers. Definitely try their frozen yogurt — yummm.

So I just passed by the window in RTC Ben & Jerrys and I noticed this girl working just handed these people their ice cream cones with her BAREHANDS with NO wrapper around it! UMM I believe that is a a health code violation to be touching the ice cream cones with your hand and then those people would be EATING those. All ice cream cones should have a wrapper thingy that goes all the way up to the brink of the cone. I just noticed another worker right now handed someone their cones with a wrapper which is a step above the other girl working but that wrapper was only small and covered 25% of the cone and they should make their wrapper more covered because otherwise they end up touching the cone people put in their mouths. I will not be visiting this location of Ben and Jerrys anymore. I noticed this happened at another Ben and Jerry’s as well. I guess health is not important to Ben and Jerry’s, therefore they’ve lost a customer. I guess I will be going to Haagen Daazs from now on till they train their workers not to hand out cones to customers without a wrapper and even when they do make sure their hands are not touching the part without the wrapper(since the wrappers only cover a small amount of the cone)

Slow as can be. We were the only ones in line when we walked in. My boys picked out what flavors they wanted, but we still stood there and waited for minute. One guy was moving things behind the counter and the other was sitting down behind the counter working on a PC. Neither of them looked to be happy to be there either. One of my boys ordered a shake and the other one ordered a small cup. By the time the small shake was made, my other son finished his cup and 4 people behind us in line were served. The ice cream was good, still not worth the high price in my opinion, but that’s Ben & Jerry’s.

This is your average Ben and Jerry’s — a bit pricey for not much ice cream, but I did LOVE their passionfruit-flavored ice cream. Very tasty and refreshing in the afternoon. They had a nice variety of flavor generally.

Mmmmm that milk and cookies ice cream + waffle cone. And ice cream while strolling around a cute shopping center on a cool day is always a winner in my book, but this Ben and Jerry’s itself could step it up a bit. Yes, it was a hot sunny day when I went, but the place is tiny(doesn’t lend itself well to bunches of kiddos all trying to look at the flavors) and not exactly your cleaniest establishment(that bathroom was nastayyy). Oh, the things I’ll endure for ice cream.

Pricey but the kids like any place with ice cream. Ice cream is about the only item we buy here. I haven’t tried there cakes yet.

4.5 if possible. Most of the time I want banana split, they don’t have banana. sigh. Please have banana. Love the waffle bowl with chocolate and strawberry ice-cream.

Ordered a birthday cake 3 days in advance and they lost the order. The young staff that came to open were horror stricken when I was upset over this, and were a little confused over what to do. My initial response was to storm off and regroup my cool before lashing out at minimum wage employees who had nothing to do with my issue. Either the manager or the website screwed up big time, so I recommend verifying any web orders right after placing. That being said, the staff were able to expedite my cake and get the exact one I wanted(great looking no less), for which I am quite grateful. In particular the young lady(Jennifer?) who helped open on Easter day really stepped up to the plate in ensuring we didn’t have a ruined birthday. In addition to the public praise, I will be sure to come back and ensure they get a nice tip for going above and beyond in fixing my dilemmia

I’m torn between 2 and 3 stars. It’s Ben and Jerry’s so the ice cream is what it is going to be. 3 stars and no real complaints. However, the establishment itself was a different story. The store set up is a narrow strip of real estate — I suppose the idea is to have customers enter on one side, order, pay and then exit the other side. Now let’s suppose you are not sure which ice cream you want — people tend to go back and forth looking at the options causing a bottle neck that is tough to maneuver. This particular Saturday was probably an off(?busy) day because the tables and floors looked like they had not been tended to for several hours. 2 stars for the establishment.

Nothing special here… same ice cream as you would get anywhere else. The space is fairly small but the service is organized and on-point.

I wanted to take my 5 siblings out for dessert to celebrate surviving their first day of school but by the time we were done eating our dinner, it was 9pm — thank goodness for Unilocal letting us know that Ben & Jerry’s is open until 10pm. It was so humid and sticky out so when we arrived we were disappointed at how tiny this place was! Since there were 3 other customers ahead of us, the place was packed! We could barely move around to view all of the flavors… I enjoyed my Berry Smoothie and the kids enjoyed their waffle cones! Not a good place to hang out and talk though.

I came here yesterday, the place pretty small and lots of people, i was waiting so long, until my turn, they didn’t have any waffle anymore :(i got strawberry and coconut, the coconut really tasty, you should try. And better if walk around the center with cup of ice cream at night, just awesome: D

Stopped by for a quick treat before we headed to our BBQ. There was no line, I sampled two flavors, and the cashier was friendly & quick. I enjoyed my coffee ice cream and my friend had a classic strawberry shake.

Friendly staff, extremely small store. Very cramped. not for the claustrophobic. ice cream is decent, but wish they had more non-chocolate flavors. the hand-made waffle cones are alwways yummy.

Shittiest service I ever got. And it’s just icecream guys. All you have to do is scoop. The two girls working that night were plain rude. She just rolled her eyes and sighed here and there like I was her nagging mother. My friend asked for a soda and when he asked for one, she just glances up and points to the fridge that closer to HER.

Went in, stood in a very short line, ordered my free flavor of ice cream and got out with some delicious FREE ice cream. THEEND. I bet you you’ll have to wait at least 10 times longer in any other location to get your free scoop!
