This place is honestly just a hit or miss type of Pizza Hut. I’ve ate here about 10times over the last year and I can say the Lunch Buffet is pretty good in that they put out a variety of hot and fresh pizzas, but if you’re hoping for a salad bar it’s nonexistent. Most of the time I get carry out and the pizza is not bad, in fact it’s better than the only Pizza Hut in DC. If you’re lucky, this big Indian guy will make your pizza… not even kidding each time he’s made my order it looks like they took it right out of a commercial. He’s the A Team of this Pizza Hut. Today, we ordered 3 pizzas for Super Bowl Sunday. The A team team was clearly not working… heck I think the C squad showed up. The 3rd one was the wrong pizza and we were charged incorrectly. They asked us to return the mistake pizza and tried to make us feel like it was our fault, even though the screenshot we had clearly showed we placed the order correctly. There was no apology or we will make this right. Update: After not eating at this Pizza Hut for over an entire YEAR, I decided to give it another shot. We ordered a basic breadstick and it was actually made right. So, accolades to the kitchen staff! However, the customer service experience was exactly what NOT to do. There was some confusion at the register when we walked in. So we had to place our order from the high ledge of the waiting area. The guy never asked if we wanted to dine in or carry out, but he definitely heard us say we are dining in. I thought it was weird that he still wanted to take my order from the ledge rather than seating us. He went on to ask me about my race and ethnicity; I’m not sure what that has to do with anything. He was clearly disappointed by my answer and I was stared at by the random Indian/Pakistani female employee for a solid 3 minutes. The order was given to us to go, but we reminded them we wanted dine in. The lady just kept repeating carry out is carry out. I would’ve gladly paid the tip to dine in, but she was so rude and lacked any common sense of customer service. We had to ask for napkins and even had to come back when they realized they didn’t have me sign the correct receipt. I don’t think they care either, but I won’t be back.

One of the few remaining Pizza Huts in this area… Visited with done family from out of town, complete with a very picky eater who wanted stuffed crust pizza. When you have little options available, you find yourself in the strangest places. Not a bad experience, just very dated.

It’s bad. Really bad. Unknowledgeable and incompetent staff. The manager was even worse. Forget about the delivery driver who didn’t even speak English. What a sad representation of a brand I used to like. This location is the epitome of what not to do. The people not to employ. The way not to run a business. I’m not even mad. It’s just so sad how seriously bad this place and all of its employees are. Other reviews are very accurate. This is a people problem for sure. English is kind of a required language, isn’t it? When the accents of every person working there make it impossible to communicate, you have a problem.

Unfortunately like everybody else says this place is really hit or miss. I’ve been here several times and sometimes you get an amazing pizza but usually you get something that’s undercooked and/or with very sparse toppings. They messed up my order several times even though I ordered online. The last time they told me I was getting a refund however I never received it. I actually never even got an apology. Well, continue to go here because I just love Pizza Hut pizza… I have grown up with it as a child… But I notice more and more it causes severe gastrointestinal issues due to all the oil. There are some really great mom and pop pizza joints which I have started to enjoy more now… So, back to this place… It’s never crowded inside… It’s actually completely empty. There is a lunch buffet! I haven’t seen one of those on years… Decent bang for your buck… And pizza comes out quickly… The service is slow and they charge for marinara or any additional sauce you want. Don’t expect the pizza to be consistent, and don’t expect anybody to be nice. Overall and very mediocre… If not subpar experience…

I have been here maybe 40 – 50 times atleast in the past 10 years. The pizza is really a hit or miss. Sometimes it is cooked well, other times it is either under cooked or overcooked. I think this place struggles with consistency. Back about 5 years ago this used to be the go to place for my family to get carryout as it is so close. Since then we have moved on to REAL pizza. The food here always causes stomach upsets and dehydration(due to the REDIC amount of oil) after eating. TAKE: I have been to many different Pizza huts in my lifetime. I have to rank this one as one of the worst. I think they just keep surviving as the people who love it here have not tasted real pizza. They have a loyal fan base so they are able to keep this place open. As more and more gourmet places open up in the area, i am ABSOLUTELY sure that this place will be lost in the pits… Like i said we USED to frequent this place when they made actually somewhat quality food for the price. Now it is at the point of lower than fast food. I do not understand why someone would pay 15 $ for a pizza here when various Italian eateries in the area(Within 5 miles) offer MUCH higher quality pizza made with quality ingredients for a couple bucks more…

Decent tasting pizza, but they inexplicably don’t bother to inform you when it’s ready to eat! This has happened on two occasions and they just put it into a warmer and expect you to keep checking in to see if it’s ready. The restaurant has a strong odor of overcooked oil, pretty unpleasant.

McTacoHut. A labyrinth of fast food. It’s cute to still see sit down Pizza Huts in existence. Still, I opted for the convenience of ordering my food online and picking it up. I’m sure they deliver to my office, but it’s satisfying to drive and pick it up, plus you can pay at pickup rather than put your credit card info online. The pizza and breadsticks satisfied my cravings. As convenient as the website ordering is, it can be a tad misleading. I wanted to order something, and it said that this place was closed. Closed, on a weekday?! It wasn’t until my second attempt to order that I saw that it says closed if it’s closed RIGHT now, but that you can still order your food for pickup once they open.

Well, it wasn’t much on clean when you walk in there were plenty of dirty tables but we were greeted right away by friendly staff. Our waitress was nice and it was after 9:30pm when we arrived. We ordered our drinks but were never asked if we would like any refills-my glass sat empty for most of the evening. I ordered buffalo wings with celery sticks but was told we don’t have celery because no one orders them. The buffalo sauce was absolutely horrible and full of oil??? we didn’t/couldn’t finish the order… We ordered deep dish and, it wasn’t much of a deep dish pie-and the cheese was pretty sparse. We were the only ones in the restaurant and we laughed saying we knew why… It was quaint since we had the whole restaurant to ourselves-but, I wouldn’t eat there again. 2 stars because the staff was pleasant… should perhaps be 1.5.

As far as Pizza Hut goes, this location is great. Deliveries are always on time and everything is consistent. And to all the food experts comparing delivery chain pizza to Neoplitan pizzas stop fronting, just call it cheesy saucy bread and admit it tastes good.

Whenever I feel in the mood for something else, or my wife sees a Pizza Hut commercial featuring their new {XYZ} Pizza, we end up ordering delivery. We also always regret it. Each time we’ve ordered, the food has been subpar in some way. Not hot enough, overbaked, gross wings, or just something unpleasant in general. The couple of times I’ve picked up, the staff was slow and generally rude(this was at least a year ago). If you have to have Pizza Hut, sure go and order, but if you’re just looking for delivery pizza in the area, head for Domino’s or Vocelli’s.

It’s a Pizza Hut. Dirty little secret: I’ve always loved Pizza Hut lunch buffet since I was a little kid. Don’t tell anyone. It’s one of those childhood things like the Wendy’s Superbar(I totally miss those, too). I grew up in the Detroit suburbs, so I learned at an early age: Don’t Eat Fast Food In The City! This place was okay. There wasn’t anything obviously gross. It was busy, but also clean and they were quick to bus tables. We came for the lunch buffet. The pizza was hot and there was always a good selection. It was a busy weekday lunch around 12:30 and I find it commendable that the buffet was kept fully stocked. The pizza was certainly on the good side of Pizza Hut-level pizza. It wasn’t greasy or overcooked. All and all, my expectations were met or exceeded. It’s been awhile, but I thought Pizza Hut buffet had a salad bar, as well. I’m a little disappointed there was no salad, but if this is how they do it now?

Rating a 4 for the type of place it is. overall clean, lots of parking, pleasant staff, quiet dining room Exactly what I expect here. They need more front staff to take care of the dining room as there is a line at 6 as no one available to seat folks or followup on those of us already hear. Bad form when you can hear a kitchen argument and you at the farthest point away in the dining area. Things started off great then slowed to a crawl in terms of service!

The staff was very friendly and courteous as my friend and I walked in. We were promptly Shown to our clean corner table and given our menus. The personal pan pizzas that we had ordered for ourselves were really very good, yummy and delicious. The dining room was not very crowded at all as we had a really great time chatting with each other an having a late dinner. Two thumbs up! :) Dave Lepkowski. a

Not the best place to go to dine-in. The service has not always been that great here. I do not order for carry out since this location is close to my house. I much rather pick it up myself then to wait longer.

This place is run down. The staff is rude and really arrogant. I did a walk in and waited about 30 min for my pizza… i think that’s a bit too long for a «fast food» place. Food quality was poor. They use the minimum of each indigence.

Looks like we got some Pizza Hut Supremacists in Reston! There’s a Pizza Hut closer to my house that will deliver to my door but I pick up my order here instead because it does not suck. They generally always make the order right, and in the one instance they did not, they made up for it with store credit. The pizzas and wings are consistent, and always warm when I’ve picked it up. And c’mon, they still have a friggin lunch buffet! Can’t find many of those left at Pizza Hut. Pizza Hut Power!(So long as$ 12 unlim toppings Stuffed Crust Pizzas and 60c Wings Wednesday stick around!)

Good: — place is huge — lots of parking space — very accessible Bad: — cheap. We asked for a ranch dip and asked us to pay 50 cents — lots of parking space because there are hardly any people eating here — food just OK — we got smiles form the cashier and the server but doesn’t look like they meant it

Never have I received worse service than here. One couple has already left for lack of service. There were only 2 of us families in the restraint. Took us 16 minutes to be seated. Flys swarming all around inside. No idea what the employees are doing, but its not taking care of anyone inside. Total wait time: 90 minutes, had to give the kids OUR food since theirs has yet to arrive to our table…

Atrocious food and atmosphere — pleasant server: I dined-in at the Reston Pizza Hut this evening and I issue this warning to my fellow Unilocalers… STAYAWAY! We traveled to this Pizza Hut because it is one of the«Wing Street» locations that in the commercials, claim to stand up to real deal in Buffalo, NY. I promise you they do not. I’m not sure who P. H’s supplier is, but these were surely, the smallest and lowest quality wings I have ever seen. Many of the wings had broken bones, which are both a choking and broken tooth hazard. There were irregular chunks of skin, connective tissue and fat that would normally be trimmed from regular quality wings. AWFUL, JUSTAWFUL. Laughably… we went in for the wings and ordered a medium pizza as an afterthought. The kitchen forgot or our wing order and after a pretty substantial wait, our server arrived with our pizza and an apology(he really was a nice guy), the wings were forgotten and just going in now. The bathrooms were disgusting. I think someone actually decided to vandalize the men’s room by peeing on the walls. No joke: there were droplets everywhere… too far away from the sink to be just water. There were numerous flies buzzing about the restaurant. They bit at our legs as we ate. Awesome… I tried to be in good spirits about the whole experience… mostly because, as I said, I thought our server was just the salt of the earth, especially with all of the other nonsense that was going down around him. However, I did almost lose my cool when I went up to the register to pay and the manager did not say hello, look me in the eye or ask how everything was. I did want her to know how bad everything was in her restaurant and offer to offset our bill in some way. Instead she looked the other way and stretched out her hand to take my check and card from me(*snubbed*). Her demeanor was was notably and intentionally rude. All in all a bad experience.
