Horrible service!!! I walked in to buy a couple of things for my new house and everyone was acting«snobish» with me. It was my day off so I was not wearing any makeup and I actually might have looked like I couldn’t afford anything but seriously? Didnt they watch Pretty Woman??? I asked for the manager and the very rude lady that did not help me WASTHEMANAGER!!! Short lady with long hair and an attitude!!! Like I always say: fish stinks from the head down!!! Anyways, went to Tysons and ended up spending almost $ 3k. The lady in tysons was so nice I even decided to change my sofas as well!!! BTW I am spanish, I hope this«manager» did not just act that way thinking I couldnt afford anything because of my accent!!! The most that little thing makes is 60−70k. I make more than twice that amount so they should learn not to prejudge and treat every customer the same way. Such a snob manager, So rude, bad example to her employees, PB needs to replace her with someone that understands how customer service works!!!

Yikes! One word: snooty! Odd, because I haven’t had that experience at other PBs or anywhere in their brands. Longtime resident of Reston, 35 year old professional, married, homeowner, upper income bracket. Target audience, right? Guess not. Walked in on a slow Friday late afternoon. When I approached the counter with my question, I was first asked if I was with the young man in front of me(a good 10 feet in front of me). Umm, no. Then instead of calling for backup the sales associate proceeds to walk away with the young man(and leaving me hanging without so much as a «someone will be right with you») — to be fair, she was treating him pretty snootily, too. So, I proceed to pick up a couple $ 100+ fall throws. Go back to the counter. Snooty look from another sales lady, who then calls for someone to ring me up(while she chatters away with a customer who has long completed her transaction about the dreadful lack of Nordstroms in our area). Different sales woman comes over, no eye contact, no «hi, how are you» or even an «all set?» — nada! Just starts ringing up my stuff. I’m not Chatty Cathy but geez, some acknowledgment would be nice. I finally said to her«hi, how are you?» to make clear that I was engaging her in the rudimentary customer service functions of her JOB. That didn’t go over well as the arctic blast from both she and saleswoman #1(now amiably chatting about massive dinner parties and the like with the customer who was apparently worthy of her charms) turned up higher. Bye!

It’s a bit small for a furniture store, but I go there quite a lot since it’s the closest Pottery Barn to my home. The store is well set up and well organized. Their sales are always a great deal to run into(my favorite part!). I just wish that employees and management could be a bit more friendly. No one ever greeted or acknowledged me before(maybe I don’t look like the type that leaves a whole lot of money at that store? LOL). Anyways, whenever I need something from this store it’s the more convenient place to go to, instead of driving out to the other locations.

We had some issues with the fabric on the couches we bought from the online store. The customer service rep told us to pick out a new fabric so we could get new slipcovers made so we went to this location to have a look. Amber, the GM was so helpful in answering questions even though we did not buy the couches from this location. Next time I’ll go in store for our next big furniture purchase. Thank you so much for your help Amber!!!

Strolled in on a Saturday afternoon. It was pretty empty in the store. There have lots of staff throughout the store. Most were talking about their sales quotas and how to set up the store. No one really acknowledged me as I walked the perimeter of the store. I picked up one thing to purchase and actually had to approach someone about paying. She then walked me to a register and I paid. The two women behind the register continued talking amongst themselves and only spoke to me when they gave me my total. I think if they are that concerned about sales and incentives then they should acknowledge customers as they walk into the store. I’ll stick to online shopping.

Very nice ppl that work here. I just wish that the delivered product looked like the pictures. Big disappointment when the product arrived. Compare the pictures what I ordered and what I got is sad. I work hard for my money and wanted to get my wife a wonderful couch. It’s a sad day. I would return it if they would let me. Picture taken are from today, the day the couch arrived.

Just visited the store and noticed that although they shift their seasonal colors and patterns, the merchandise remains the same. The rugs, furniture and curtains are basically the same. Their dishes, glassware, silverware and candles, which are relatively plain will fit into any interior. It would be nice if they ordered more American made goods during these tough economic times. Staff at this smaller PB repeatedly offer to help customers generating a positive atmosphere. The free parking garages around the Town Center are a definite plus.

I’ve always been attracted to Pottery Barn, the candles, the candle holders, lamps, and more. I have a couple of lamps from Pottery Barn(one floor, one table lamp), a number of those iron floor candle holders, and several candles. Who knows what else I’ve bought from PB over the years. I visited this location yesterday for the first time. I was hoping that they also carried the Pottery Barn Teen(PBTeen) stuff. Sadly, they did not. But a very helpful sales lady went in the back to retrieve me a PB Teen catalog. She then went though it with me to make sure I found what I needed. I asked where the physical PB Teen stores were — she told me as far as she was aware, there are no physical stores — it’s all an online thing. So I took my catalog, went back to the office, got back on their web site, and ordered some Christmas presents for my two nieces!
