Holiday Inn Express Columbus East

My only complaint is the that the tv and the internet connection are unreliable. They both blink in and out. It takes forever online to do the simplest thing.
Everything else is great. Hotel is near lots of restaurants. The staff is friendly and the room are clean.

Awesome heated pool. It is just your normal pool, but at 87 degrees it made swimming great! Very nice staff that accommodated all of our requests. Rooms are average, but nice beds and linens. Will definitely stay again.

Very clean hotel. Nice rooms (some freeway noise though). powerful, hot shower. Decent breakfast with multiple options and decent coffee.
Very nice front desk personnel and also gave comp water and snack when checking inn.
Also theres about every kind of store and food option within a 3 minute drive

Before the 2000s, I’d always thought of the Holiday Inn as more of a motel instead of a hotel, so I can’t help that although I’ve stayed at many HI Express’s since the brand revamping, my mind instantly reverts to «OMG…it’s an express motel. There must be a redlight somewhere.»
Thankfully, this Holiday Inn Express offers no such services. Situated off of a ritzy shopping plaza (we shop at Tarrr-​jjjaaa not Walmart), the hotel is in good company. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is small, but filling. The bathrooms glisten with a just washed Pinsol gleam.
The gym, however, is a laughable three machines… with a Tredmill that feels as if it were pulled from electric gym equipment’s nascent days — after running three miles, my feet felt as though they had pounded solid pavement without tennis shoes — and an elliptical in serious need of WD-​50 and a technology overhaul, don’t count on getting a good workout unless it’s to collapse in a fit of giggles over your workout woes. Oh… and the lights kept going out every 30 minutes. The motion detectors are less than present.

This Holiday Inn Express was great. The lobby area is very nice, with a hearth, a sitting area, and a computer with printer. The rooms were very clean and quiet. The breakfast area was nice and had all the essentials that you’d expect from a continental (plus a little more) breakfast.
The location is also great. There are a ton of restaurants and shops within a mile of the hotel so you are easily able to find whatever you might need.

Great customer service. Comfortable beds. Can’t ask for anything more.
