I came here tonight for the first time. Amazing food. Best indian cuisine I have had to date. Owner was very personable and welcoming. Overall from the appetizer to the meal, perfect. Definitely recommend coming here.

Don’t let the dated décor turn you away, the food is really good. Menu is vast and the customer service was attentive. Came with a group so was able to taste a variety of items. Chicken korma was heavenly, tandoori was moist, I ordered medium spice, but next time will get mild, a little too spicy for my taste buds.

We went there for dinner last night with a group of 20 … the atmosphere is OK … the food was good … service is slow … but the prices were a bit high … they over charge on the smaller stuff like naan and hot tea … it was ridiculous!!! Not sure if I would go there again for dinner.

I’ve been coming to Kebab n Kurry for years. I do remember the food being a bit better some years ago. The food is decent,(americanized I would say) however other Indian places in the area serve the similar dishes for better prices(although I would consider these to be «hole-in-the-wall» type places). The buffet includes chicken tikka masala, chicken boti, chana masala, palak paneer, naan, raita masala, rice pudding, among other popular dishes, except biryani. I would give them 3.5 stars, but don’t have that option. If your looking for a mild introduction to Indian food or a place to bring someone to try Indian food for the first time, this is the perfect place.

Excellent, excellent food and great service. The restaurant smells wonderful and it’s a good size for the price!!! I did take out tonight but I plan to eat there next time!

This place is highly priced for the food you get. we ordered the ‘Noor Mahal lamb biryani’, and was disappointed that it tasted like some rice was mixed with a ton of curry. google knows a biryani better than these guys! I’m indian, so I know biryanis are not supposed to be mushy/soggy. what you get is nothing like the pic you see on their menu(which is how a biryani is supposed to be like). We had specifically ordered medium spice as my husband cannot tolerate much spice. But what we got was super spicy hot. My hubby obviously couldnt eat that. I can have a ton of sriracha or hot sauce with ease(thats how much i can tolerate spice), yet this biryani burned my tummy and tongue so much that we had to get some frozen yogurt afterwards. Only good thing i noticed was that though the meat was very spicy, it was well marinated. the owners were also not polite enough to come and checkup on us. but i did see them checking up on non-indians. they didnt check on both our table and another table with indians(both our tables were in the corners. its a small place so u really cannot miss anyone). their impoliteness would have been alright if they had served good food. these guys are ripping people off by being so highly priced and giving food that’s nothing like what its supposed to be. maybe they can fool people who arent aware of indian cuisine. Never gonna visit them again!

I can’t put my finger on what it is about this place that I liked so much, but I think it’s the people. I like that when I walk in, the first thing I see is the owner and/or manager smiling and saying, «welcome back.» There’s a sincerity about this guy that I appreciate: a feeling that he is genuinely excited by and thankful for each customer that comes in. There was a small mix-up with my takeout order that resulted in my getting the wrong food, but the restaurant was very apologetic and quick to handle the issue. I had my correct food shortly thereafter, in addition to a couple free dishes that were now mine to keep due to their mistake. It’s not a great thing to have had happen, but they were very apologetic and it’s understandable that mistakes like these can happen once in a while. The food was really nice. The alu paratha was nice, and it also reheats in the toaster really well after being stuck in my fridge for a few hours. We also had a kadhai paneer and a bhuna gosht, both of which came out great. I eat Indian food frequently and found the quality to be comparable to what I would expect at a nice Indian restaurant. Overall the experience didn’t disappoint and I do think K&K is worth a visit.

Always a favorite, this wonderful neighborhood spot serves some of the best Indian food around. Palak paneer, Boti Masala and assorted breads were among my favorites on this visit. The gracious owner, AJ, is often on hand to greet guests, and is always helpful with decisions regarding menu choices. I love coming for the lunch buffet, too!

Stopped by to check out the lunch buffet(based on recommendation by a friend). The price of the lunch buffet($ 10.99) was not posted anywhere. The buffet was supposed to run until 2:00pm. Arrived a little after 1pm. It took a few minutes to be seated at a clean table, which was surprising because the place was mostly empty. Selection: Buffet selection is smaller than other Indian buffets in the area. Food was almost gone and not replenished. There was no more veg biryani left when I went back for my 2nd plate and they ran out of naan soon after. Also, there was no gulab jamun available from the dessert selection. Upon inquiry the owner offered to replenish the gulab jamun(but with 5 – 7 minute wait time). Unfortunately didn’t have time to wait for it. Taste: Dishes were of ok quality — some hit/miss — but nothing to rave about. Chicken tandoori was a bit dry, but the chicken tikka masala was tender and flavorful. They serve beef(which is a bit uncommon for an Indian place) and the beef vindaloo was tasty. Service: A bit slow and lacking. Repeatedly had to ask server for water refills. Also noticed the table beside me didn’t get drinks until after they started their meal. Friendly owner stopped by to check-in on the tables individually at end of meal. Noticed a group come in close to 2pm and he offered to replenish some dishes for them. Would have appreciated if the buffet had just been replenished earlier! Bottom Line: Decent food for value, but service and selection was a bit lacking. Unsure if would return.

Great Sunday lunch buffet!!! Awesome for those who have never had Indian before, because everything is represented very well. Just make sure you get there RIGHT when it opens, when the mega church lets out, this place gets swamped! For good reason, it’s delicious.

I had Samosas, Shrimp Korma, Garlic Naan, Kheer Badami, & Kashmiri hot tea. I now have another favorite hole in the wall, mom&pop owned place to eat! They’ve been in business for 34 yrs! Very personable! Many returning locals came in to eat while we were there. This indicates how people respect the establishment, owners, & food! The weather was horrible outside, yet this place was packed! I now have another favorite neighborhood, hole-in-the-wall, mom&pop owned, place to eat! Good to know: It’s nothing fancy at all, yet you’ll feel comfortable in a suit, casual or just comfy. They have a daily buffet. Open back for dinner at 5:30& honor BYOB. Menu is on website to become familiar with before going. They have 3 levels of hot. Mild, medium or hot. Be sure to tell them your tolerance. My shrimp korma was medium & I wanted it a little hotter. I think my comfort zone will be somewhere in the middle of med to hot. The Kashmiri tea is only grown in one region of the world & it was divine in aroma & taste. Perfect for the dessert or anytime really! When I asked for cream, our waiter was kind enough to tell me it would separate in the tea. This saved me from having a ruined cup of heaven! Go for the food. Keep going back because of the ambience, atmosphere & warm feelings you’ll develop for adopting it as one of your favs. g

This place is good, but grossly overpriced IMHO. Had a sudden craving for some Indian food, so I thought I would give this place a shot. I glanced over the menu and settled on the Chicken Anarkali. I did like that you get the option for mild, medium, or hot, because not all of my friends can handle the heat. Since I was by myself though, I got the hot. The dish is chicken thigh meat served in a tradional curry sauce. It had good flavor and just the right amount of spice that I am looking for in Indian food. It also comes with bismati rice. If I were just rating on the food and service, this place gets an easy 4 stars. But knowing how restaurants work(when it comes to food costs and what price to charge), I just thought $ 13.95 was a little steep for chicken thigh meat and rice. For that reason, I give it three stars, and I probably would not return, as I know other places in the area where I can get the same quality of food for a lot less.

If you like Indian food with a great atmosphere this is the place. The food was delicious! I love curry chicken from this place. They have already been listed in «D» magazine and other magazines for top of the line dining.

Love, love, love their food. Wait staff is decent. Very nice tea. I’ve been a few times for lunch and once for dinner. My husband, who is not a fan of Indian food, really enjoyed his meal.

I’m updating my previous review, and adding a couple of stars to this place. After eating there a few more times, I’ve really grown to appreciate some of their buffet items, particularly the chana masala, and the malai kofta. Overall, the spicy level is slightly higher than that of the timid buffets which seem de rigueur in Indian buffets designed for the American palate. Either they’ve improved, or perhaps I just went on off days, before… but the freshness of the buffet is satisfactory, and the service is friendly and attentive. They also have some good naan variations, as well as roti that is prepared thin, as I like it. It’s still a dollar or two higher than the price of some other buffets in the area, but that doesn’t bother me. I’ve added Kebab-N-Kurry to my regular rotation of Indian buffets. :)

Love almost everything about this place. I enjoy coming here to relax with a cup of Kashmiri tea after some great Naan and Kebabs! Décor a bit on the dated side, but dont let that throw you off from coming in for great food. Owner is very friendly and loves to discuss his place, the food, and community!
