This is a very authentic Phở place located in yet another strip mall in Richardson. Parking was easy on the weekend day we were there as this strip mall does not seem to have any anchor tenants like a grocery store or anything. The inside is pretty dingy and dark, but there are several TVs playing sports. The service was pretty quick we got our usual, phở tai and goi cuon. The goi cuon were okay and the phở was really good. The broth was flavorful and the portions large. There was little fat and it came quickly. All in all a great experience.

One of the top phở place in the metroplex. Wish it was closer to home. Every time I’m in the area I have to stop by. Very rich, flavorful broth. Generous amount of meat and noodles. Fast service.

I have been here a couple times over the course of the year, place is very consistent… with bad service! I usually have a high tolerance to foolery, so it takes a lot for me to point out something. The girl taking our order constantly rolled her eyes as we were telling her our order… ok. Anyways food taste was decent, but I felt there wasn’t enough noodle in my large bowl of phở i ordered, my boyfriend had the next size up and it seemed we had the same about of noodles. Huh. I really wanted to like this place because it seems clean and it’s close to home.

I would definitely return for the phở, café sua da, and shrimp spring/summer rolls. The eggrolls were a disappointment. I can’t seem to find a place that has really good Vietnamese egg rolls. The service was SUPER fast and that’s awesome. The phở tasted very good, the café sua da was amazing and they brought it to the table the correct way(have it brewing at your table and then you mix it with your sweetened condensed milk over ice). I have others pre-make them, to save time I suppose, and it never tastes good or is OVERLY sweet. The shrimp spring/summer rolls were pretty good(wrapped tight, normal fillings) and the peanut sauce was okay. I wasn’t disappointed and I would actually order it again. I always like more herbs but I have yet to find a place that puts more herbs in their rolls.

Had dinner with my buddy at Phở Bac yesterday. Ordered the number 25, which was the Bun Bo Hue. Compare it to the other restaurants that offers Bun Bo Hue. This one is average. However, The portion was generous. Staffs are friendly. Though, the atmosphere is quite dark, otherwise, is a great place to enjoy vietnamese food with friends and family.

Servicing could come with more attentiveness to keeping the tables bussed as we dine. Other than that no complaints. From the phở to the rice dishes and the appetizer selections as well. Great portion sizes. Def our go to phở spot.

1st time here. This place is okay. Most likely won’t come back since there are better options in the area(around walnut/Jupiter). Egg rolls were soggy, banh mi thit nuong lacked flavor, phở ga was ok. I was overall disappointed. The only good part was that service from the male waiters were great! Thank you for that!

This is my family’s GO-TO place for phở. We are Sunday regulars! What’s great about Phở Bac is that their phở is good AND they’re clean. Other phở establishments are not so clean, so I always choose Phở Bac(literally means North Phở). Their broth can be a hit or miss, but we’re also pickier because we’re Vietnamese lol. Here you get to customize your phở. Other places they charge you $ 1, $ 1.50.to add flank or tripe or whatever. At Phở Bac, you can add any meats you want for the same flat price(I think only shrimp or meatballs are extra). When I brought my friends here to convert them from that Phở Que Huong crap, they went crazy and added all kinds of meat. My usual order is phở chin gan sach(brisket, tendon, tripe) with a spring roll appetizer(goi cuon). Their Vietnamese dessert(suong sa hot luu) is one of my favorites as well! Do not get their vermicelli with the grilled pork though… Meat tasted dry and not very good :((Bun thit nuong)

Amazing phở! The broth is delicious and the noodles are perfect! It doesn’t not taste like water. I’ve had a lot of bad phở and believe me this is amazing! The atmosphere is perfect too. It’s very relaxing and clean. Kinda dark lighting but not to the point where you can’t see anything. One of the waiters is cute but over all everyone was friendly.

I’ve tried a lot of restaurants to get phở and this is the only place I go now! I make the drive from west Plano to eat there. Best phở I’ve ever had!

This place brings me back to my grandma’s homemade cooking! I always always get their chicken spring rolls. It’s amazing! And their chicken rice platter. The chicken does it justice. You can taste how fresh the ingredients are! Plus I’m sure it’s family owned too. Staff were kind, helpful, and generous! If you’re looking for a home cooked meal, Phở Bac is the place.

I would definitely have to say that Phở Bac is one of the best phở restaurants in Dallas and recommend it to everyone. I’m extremely critical when it comes to Vietnamese food and the consistency of taste within phở broth determines everything. This place not only serves you the quality but also serves you quantity. I ordered the Phở Dac Biet(Phở combination meats) and it came with plenty of meat. The service was great too. I waited no longer than maybe 10 minutes for everything to be served. I’ve been coming here for 4 years now and I havent been disappointed yet!

I’m still on this hunt for great Bun Bo Hue and this restaurant is the best that I’ve seen. I love coming here because I know that I’m always going to get a great dish. This restaurant is consistent, clean, tasty, and it’s average priced. It’s average priced when you look at just the numbers but really when you factor in all the other perks of this restaurant, it’s a deal you can’t beat.

I really love this place. The phở is delicious, and compared to most phở places I’ve been to the atmosphere is very nice. It is weird that you pay in the back after you eat, though. It’s basically a full service restaurant, not sure why they don’t just have the waiters do it. But that’s nit-picking. It’s awesome. Go there.

I get mixed reviews about this place. Their phở is decent. A bit bland to my tastebud but I know a lot of people who do like it. I’ve tried their rice plate which was meh… nothing exciting for my belly. However, service is great.

I love how you can customise your phở here! And the meat is def sliced thinner than other place, I like that bc you can see how it cooks evenly thr moment they put it into the broth. They also have the option to order cooked bean sprouts instead of raw, which is nice but I like the diff texture the raw ones bring. The spring rolls were meh though, the shrimp didnt have lots of taste to it and there way too much lettuce and not enough herbs… but it was cheaper than most places so that might be why? Id go for the phở def, especially if you wanna choose your own meats! But phở pasture had better spring rolls!

Very nice restaurant. Excellent fast service. Full of ethnic locals enjoying good food for an excellent price. We will be going back! We ordered the spring rolls. They were tasty with a nice sauce. Two nice rolls $ 2.50. I would have liked them more if they had a bit more lettuce, or some basil. They were really good as they were. We also ordered the Bahn Mi pork and chicken sandwiches, They were hot and fresh with a great crusty french bread. The grilled meat was perfectly cooked. The crunchy dIcon and carrot relish was very good. I would have liked more cucumber and jalapenos in the sandwiches. I am sure to ask for more next time. All in all, Excellent taste and excellent value! My sister tried the eye of round Phở,. She said it was well prepared, and had a very good broth in it. Great place for Vietnamese food!

This is probably the best place in dallas to get bun bo hue hands down. Their broth is very flavorful and rich with beefy-ness. it has just the right amount of spice for most people, although i order mine with a side of jalapenos. ive never really had anything else here, mainly because there’s nothing else i can think about after i walk into this place and smell the bun bo hue. 5 stars for food, but the place is quite dirty at any given time, so 4 stars!

Very posh and elegant. Does not seem to cater to an evening dine in crowd. More takeout at night. What I did love was the darkly lit and modern looking dining area. NICE furnishing and lighting effects. No Styrofoam or plastic dinnerware. Nice dishes and stainless steel utensils. HUGETV’s but with the volume turned down so you could carry on a conversation. Great air-conditioning which would come in very handy when I started on the Bahn Mi Thit Nuong or Grilled pork sandwich on french bread. It looked to good to eat but I did. 911! 911!!! Man DOWN! Get Laura Bush on the BAT-PHONE! Summon a CareFlight chopper! I’m a short German WASP! NOEATSPICY! The first bite was a sliver of habanero or other severely spicy pepper. I picked the rest out even though my eyes were watering. The sandwich did not need them. Wish they had warned me. But would order one again in a heartbeat. Fresh mint and cilantro and carrot. YUM. $ 3.50! The two fresh spring roll(no s) Goi Cuon were outstanding and supremely refreshing. Took some of the heat away from the habanero burning. And a lush peanut sauce that was not to sweet or salty. $ 2.00 Service was friendly but they were clearly busy working on phoned-in orders. The price and delicious food will keep me coming back!

I love coming here for phở. It’s consistent as far as phở broth always tasting the same and plentiful meat options that I love to mix and match with. All the other dishes I’ve ordered are never a disappointment. Not as good as home-made from your moms but good enough where it satisfies my craving for vietnamese food. Only con is the eggrolls appetizer, sometimes its just very oily. Probably due to it just being microwaved. When it’s fresh, it’s really good. They get busy at times but the waiters try to get to you and your orders. Pay up at the front when you’re ready.
