There is a style of hamburger found in Texas roadside diners and small town cafes. It’s a big flat bun lightly toasted on the griddle, a little oily on the outside, and inside is a big flat meat patty with chopped lettuce, sliced tomato, onions, pickles and mustard. Burger Box makes this burger. Keep those burgers coming!

Same as before has not fixed the burn taste of the chocolate shakes. I miss this place but its not worth getting sick over. The shake has a funky taste so I threw it out again. This is my second bad review in a year they haven’t appeared to fix the problem. Im not going back. Beware

I love the grilled chicken salad, with homemade Ranch! This is the best Burger Box in Tarrant County. The other locations provide packets of salad dressing… Blah!

Nice neighborhood burger joint. Carrying the theme of old TV shows with music to match. We each ordered a burger. I enhanced mine by adding mushrooms. That way did not have to share with my non-mushroom lover. Not to worry since she ordered her own burger and rarely eats the whole meal. Bonus for the puppy waiting at home for the next take out box to arrive. The meats were cooked through, fresh veggies, and all topped with a crisp bun that had been lightly toasted on the grill. If you are still hungry order up a hand dipped cone of Blue Bell Ice Cream. Maybe it could use a little fixing up, but I put my OCD aside and enjoyed my burger and fries. Next time you need that old fashioned burger fix drop in but save room for some ice cream.

They just raised prices it was $ 9.40 for a burger meal with a shake. Still good, but not necessarily a great deal.

I’m a fan. Great chili dogs, burgers and during lent I had their fish burger(decent but didn’t like the tartar sauce). The crinkle fries are to die for — if you go — make sure you order the fries! The chicken fried steak burger is pretty good. Nice people, young wait staff, clean bathroom and dining area. I like this place.

Burger Box is a step back in to time has a 60s burger diner feel without the décor. Nothing wrong with that at all! It reminds of DQ. I know this place has been around for a while. I had just a plain cheeseburger. I decided to drive out to the NE mall today. My stomach growling won over my my bookmarks today. The place had a grungy feel to it. It wasn’t the cleanest. Tables weren’t clean and flies everywhere. The burger was okay a little oversalted. I don’t think I would return.

Too much hype here. We’re new to the area and so when I saw this little place that looked like it had been here forever I had to try it. We ordered the sampler and the box burger just to get a good idea of their fare. I see a lot of positive reviews for the ranch and I think it is overrated, nothing special. The only good items were the butterfly shrimp. The fried pickles were burned, the chicken fingers were so plain and boring, and the fries taste like the ones in my freezer. Nothing special here. I only ate half the burger as I had no desire to keep going. My significant other was horribly sick after his meal. This place was pricey too, two samplers, two plain burgers, two milkshakes and a four piece order of chicken nuggets about 33 dollars. I feel like they should pay us to eat that.

Nice surprise! We decided to stop by and try it out. The building was super clean and still had the old school Burger Box appeal. Our food came out super fast. The fries were hot and crispy. The burger was pretty good and not greasy. Not bad at all. I’m sure I will try this place again in ever in the area.

Went thru drive thru, slow, rainy night. Employees were very nice. Ordered a mushroom burger combo. Everything was piping hot. I think this is one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. It was delicious! Plus, I love the fat fries. Burger Box is a great place for good, old school burgers and sandwiches. Plus you can’t go wrong with any place that serves Blue Bell. PS. If you want the best hamburger ever, order the Hawaiian. It is amazingly tasty.

Went to this place on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. It is in an older building but it is clean. Décor is a little confusing…60’s burger joint style stools/tables interspersed with wooden benches. Black and white and photos of old movie stars line the walls while random little sculptures of ducks, dogs, etc. line the window sill. It took a young gentleman longer to take our order than it took them to bring it to us. Burgers and fries were great… this is a nice non-greasy and more reasonably priced option than many. The peppers on the Devil’s burger were very spicy so we had to remove some of them. Will definitely return the next time we need a burger fix!

Meal: Double Burger, Fries, Fried Pickles The service was pretty good. It was a slow night as I went through the drive through. The burger is somewhere between a hand pressed and flash frozen patty. It was pretty juicy, but a had that firmness that a frozen patty does. Overall, the condiments were very fresh and the burger was enjoyable. Burger was pretty large and very filling. The fries were cooked perfectly. I’m a big fan of crinkle fries and these went great with the burger. The fried pickles were spiced very well, but maybe a little over cooked, with some being burnt or having a bit of a charred taste. Overall, the meal was good enough that I would eat there again, but not so great that I would go out of my way to have a burger at the Burger Box.

I’ve already got that feeling that someone is going to criticize what I think Burger Box tastes like(just like my Griff’s Burger review — I swear that if you add mustard it tastes like a Whataburger! LOL) If I… had to define what I thought Burger Box tasted like. I would say that their burgers are pretty close to a Sonic burger(ducking head, looking for projectiles). Anyhow, I love the crinkly cut fries that they serve here(just the right amount of salt, crunchy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside). The store itself could use some help. It’s an old recycled Dairy Queen store, and while you can see that they’ve made some improvements(plus it was very clean), it just seems kind of dated.(Though I love the airy-ness of it) And I really like the option of the covered patio area. While I was there, I couldn’t shake some questions lingering in my mind. Do they want to be another franchised burger place? Do they want to stay small(and probably family owned)? It seems like they’re trying to do both, but that’s my own curiosity running wild again. Anyhow, decent burgers and fries for a reasonable price.

Good old school burger joint, tasty burgers and decent fries. The best part is that they serve blue bell ice-cream.
