Good food but quite spendy(50.00 for 2). Ordered the Calzone for 16.99 and it came with a tiny cup of marinara sauce. To be fair, the Calzone itself was huge and very hot as well as fresh but when I cut into it(couple inches from one corner) there was 85% dough and very little filling. Not at all how a Calzone should be. The other thing was that there was very little meat in the«Meat» Calzone but there were a ton of huge mushrooms. Order yours without(if you do eat here). I would ask them to flatten the Calzone dough next time as well. The water glasses are tiny, they need to go 12 ounce.

Must say this place is pretty amazing! The pizza here is some of the best in downtown Richland. I’m also in love with the Greek beers you can get here. It’s my go to place for gyros and falafel in the area.

I was very impressed with the service as well as the food. The portions are huge! We ordered the sampler platter, I had chicken cacciatori and my fiancé had the gyro plate. Everything was excellent, especially the Greek beer.

I really like their lunches, especially the beef kabobs and greek up the salad! It is a lot of food and its is reflected in the price. I would not go back for dinner, was WAY too expensive and I didn’t think the prices justified the portions and quality in dinner. Lunch is just as good — in fact better in my opinion. I really love Greek Apollo and recommend to every and anyone. So glad they are still in business. Very authentic and excellent Greek flavor.

I really don’t want to give this place a bad review. I’ve eaten lunch here quiet a few times and it is what it is. Yup the décor is dated but I find a quiet table for a quiet lunch at its fine. My favorite waitress seems to no longer be there and I now see a new face each time. I get a Gyro plate every time and the chicken rice soup which I like. The last few visits were disappointing. The Gyro meat was dried out and seemed old. And the portions have shrunk. Yeah I get the old joke«yeah the food was terrible and such small portions». I’d love fresher, less dried out meat and not the child’s portion. I really like going here but …

First off I’m not some whiner who had a bad experience and writes bad reviews all the time. I know restaurants business thrive on reviews and I would never write a dishonest review. So, please take that into account when reading this. First off the food was just above ok. It was good. Normally if chalk this up to a mediocre experience with the exception of the price I paid for my food. When I pay 17 bucks or more with Tax for a Gyro and fries I expect it to be an above average quality Gyro. I’ve had way better food for a fraction of the price. All together I got 1 kid spaghetti, 1 gyro and fries and a chicken Gyro for almost 40 freaking dollars. Again, the food was oke but these people need a reality check on their food prices because their food is very overpriced and substandard.

I agree with many of my fellow Unilocaler’s that there is something extremely off putting about the staff at this place. They aren’t totally outright rude, but there is a tone in every interaction that is a little rude. Almost like I was putting them out. I know their restaurant is on the small side, but I also find it very distracting when employees are loudly talking and complaining about their job within hearing distance of those whom they are serving. The food was okay at best, but not great by any standard. I was sitting in the dining area waiting for the waitress to come and take my order and I looked back and I heard one say to the other, «That lady keeps looking over here» about me, Like I was some sort of creeper and as if I couldn’t hear her. I was trying to get their attention because I was on my lunch break and only had so much time and I had been sitting there for a while waiting to order. By the time I was about to ask for my check I was nervous because I had a gift certificate. the waitress argued about the validity of the certificate and made me super uncomfortable about it. I love trying places I’ve never been to in my town but one visit was enough for me.

I’ve been in Richland this entire week on business and I’ve eaten at a different local place every night. This was the worst dinner I’ve had in the Tri-Cities. I walked in and noticed that the décor is similar to an Olive Garden with a smaller budget. The first real red flag, though, was the presence of calzones and pizza on the menu. I checked outside and confirmed that, yes, the sign did in fact say«Fine Greek Cuisine.» Okay, whatever. Nothing really jumped out at me, so I went for the falafel(also not Greek, but I didn’t really have high hopes for anything at this point). I’m not a picky person at all, generally asking for waiter recommendations and then just eating things as they come, so even though I thought it odd when the server informed me that the falafel came with pasta on the side, I said«okay, great,» mostly because she didn’t offer any alternatives. I asked for a beer recommendation, and ended up with some Greek white beer, which was very good though kind of pricey at $ 7.00. I had the house salad with vinaigrette to eat while my food was cooking. Salad obviously came from an iceberg mix bag. Dressing wasn’t anything special, but not bad. Then came the food. The falafel was wrapped in a pita(as advertised) with lettuce, tomato, and onion. It was awful. Dry, bland, and really just not good at all. Even less exciting was the pasta it came with, which was essentially spaghetti in some sort of cheesy cream sauce which may have been trying to be alfredo. All told, the bill was just under $ 23.00 for the food and single beer. It wasn’t even worth half that.

Food is not impressive here, Greek platter is good but generally food is little overpriced and interior could use face lift. There is couple other Greek places in the area and I would rather go there. I guess you should still check it out and decide for your self.

I’m from illinois and I’ve been to several Greek restaurants and this one has been my ultimate favorite. I’ve been here for 5 days and I’ve already tried the calzone(amazing!) lamp chops(better than amazing!) and baklava desert. Omg! I wish I could eat here every day.

First Greek food I’ve had here in Tri Cities. While the décor is outdated and the building isn’t the most attractive, it doesn’t detract from the great food. Our server was friendly and we really enjoyed our meal. Will definitely be back! Four stars for price, wish there were a few cheaper options to balance the menu.

Overpriced. Better gyros at Portland Saturday Market, or any roach coach. Never saw Greek spaghetti anywhere, more like Richland spaghetti. Will not come back ever.

We love gyros and Greek food in general, so were looking forward to some good grub. Unfortunately, it was not as good as we hoped. We had a couple of appetizers of calamari and hummus with falafel, then gyros, a stuffed halibut wrapped in filo, and kebab. The entrees all came with soup, which was marginal, and salad from a bag. All the food was just so-so and it was way overpriced and service was marginal. Would not recommend.

Im torn here. Apollo has decent food, i have been here 3 or 4 times now each time i liked my food. My last dish was the roasted chicken which was perfectly cooked. The drawback is the décor is super outdated for greek style restaraunt. Its very Early 90’s too much fske foilage that is dusty this place could really be a great hang out with some much needed updates. I keep going back for the regular menu items gyros, calzones, chicken. But please updafe to 21st century

Way OVER Price. It’s ready for and update on furniture/old chairs/old carpet/it’s clean that’s a + on my book. Lost of Italian dishes that they call Greek just because they add feta cheese. Spaghetti and alfredo sauce that couldn’t be more Italian. Food was good. Tasty. Good service. I will return if I comeback in town.

Tacky decorations with outdated interiors. Waitress could’ve been a little bit nicer but then again it was near closing time. Food came out in a timely manner. Salad was very generic. Spinach pie was fabulous! Lamb chops were a lil bit too well done/dry. Soggy spaghetti. I’ve never been to Greece so I can’t say if it’s authentic, I’ll get back on this one next year.

The food here is incredible and I’ve never tried anything I didn’t like. Last time, I ordered a Gyro and loved it! I’ve also tried their Calzone. I don’t come here often because it’s VERY expensive for what it is. But, they have some decent lunch prices if you go earlier, which makes it doable for the person who doesn’t want to spend $ 50+ for a two person dinner. Their service is also veryyy slow and sometimes lacking altogether. If they were more friendly and welcoming it would be nice! Overall, go try it, yummmies.

Ummm yeah. I can be superficial. Sadly, outward appearances can sway me – away. I’m a beast. This joint’s been in the Tri-Cities longer than I. I’ve made only a few visits over the years. The outward décor is lacking(It looks like a big-ugly-cement-Lego-blocked-cube. And c’mon – move that dumpster BEHIND the building or something!). But yeah, enough of me being superficial. Yes, once you get over the outward appearance, you have a nice little Greek restaurant. They have several choices of chicken, meat, and seafood dinner-dishes, as well as gourmet calzones & pizzas. Their prices are a little sleep – nothing under $ 14. I went with the pizza – I had a Paradisisos Pizza(garlic butter, gyro meat, onions, feta & mozzarella cheese). I liked this pizza because it was different – never had a gyro-meat topping on a pizza. It was pretty darn tasty. Now I had my pizza as take-away, but I should say the interior of the Apollo is pretty cozy. And when I was there, the joint was darn near packed. I need to get over being a shallow soul. Maybe Apollo will help. I’ll be back. Right now a solid 3.5-stars.
