Terrible terrible food but server was very attentive and polite so that is why I gave 2 stars versus 1.

Worst mexican restaurant in tricities. I went in for lunch and I was not Alegre here. The salsa had no flavor and was watered down. Our food came out super fast a little too fast that it did make me a little nervous. We ordered chile colorado, camarones a la diabla and kids chicken quesadilla. The only thing that looked good was the quesadilla. The meat in the Chile Colorado tasted old, the only thing that wasn’t too horrible was the rice. I wouldn’t suggest going there at all.

Probably the worst Mexican food I have ever had. Rice was still partially raw, beans didn’t taste good, and neither did the chimichanga. My friend said the burrito was okay. The restaurant was not clean(tables and floors). I won’t go there again.

A Poem: 1 enchalada and 1 taco with rice and beans taco $ 11 cola $ 2.75 tax $.95 The enchilada barely larger than a ball park frank almost as tasty. The taco, incidental on the plate the shell small, crunchy, purchased anywhere a layer of ground beef smaller, diametrically, than the pen being used to write this. filled with lettuce and chunks of tasteless pink tomato.
The remainder of the 11″ plate filled with rice and beans making me think of large tin-cans resting on warehouse shelves. Canned music — Mexican mariachis, trumpets, and all overpowered by kitchen sounds — Silverware dropping into trays Glassware clanking against glassware Things being banged, scooted, knocked and pushed around. The diet coke was good, I love transparent ice. The worst presentation of American-Mexican food in remembrance. Total Charge: $ 14.60 No Tip Nasty carpet. The door of this place will long be without my presence moving through it, Odds are neither will Guy Fieri’s.

Mediocre food. Very slow service — no drink refills, long wait for the check, salsa is like Ketchup, even the chips were burned. Not much was right.

meh… pretty much sums it up. With the amount of mexican restaurants in town, it does not take much to receive a less than desireable review. I had a big massive burrito that was just a big pile of soggy goo… I just didn’t like it i guess, not much else to even comment on. We watched a basketball game in the bar and the TV had some weird lines and coloring going on, so we just sat around bitching about that most of the time haha. if given the choice, I can think of atleast 5 – 6 other places i would go first for Mexican food.

Not a great experience. Went with a large party. All kids(4) ordered chicken nuggets. One of the moms noticed one was raw. We all checked our kids nuggets and they were literally breaded raw chicken! They did not give a discount or anything for potentially poisoning 4 kids.

Cold food, restaurant is worn and carpet is gross. Tried several dishes — not even worth it. Won’t visit again

Went there once. Never going back. Slow service. I had to get up and find someone to get a bill, and it was not busy. Do NOT get the Chile Relleno! What a soggy tasteless mess that was. I liked the salsa. Also, as a strange compliment the booths were comfortable and the right distance from the table. Not to close, or to far.

My family of four ate dinner here last night and we ordered 1 carne aside, 1 combo plate, 1 bowl of tortilla soup and 1 quesadilla appetizer — no drinks — and the bill was just over $ 50. This is ridiculous for a Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately the menu listed on Unilocal is not accurate to the drastic price increases that this restaurant has put in place over the past month or so. Every shrimp dish on the menu is $ 17.95+. We have been going here for years and it was one of our favorite places to go until they decreased the amount of wait staff on hand(forget about a water refill as it is not going to happen). It was really nice to have a good, quality Mexican restaurant in West Richland which has now so grossly overpriced their menu that we will be looking for another place to go.

Very friendly staff and food was actually really good, especially compared to some of the other mexican food restaurants we’ve tried around here. They’re salsa was absolutely delicious! Very good flavor. I had the omelet style chili rellenos and they were very good!

I will start by saying… a compliment: The service was great. I will then say… how sad was that food! The irony is I had suggested this place because my friend mentioned Fiesta and I had heard from numerous sources that Fiesta has gone downhill in quality. I think that even with Fiesta’s downhill-ness they would still be uphill from what I just ate at El Rancho Alegre. I am sorry to say but please put some love and care into your food!!! It was just lacking all creativity and goodness that Is MEXICAN… so please fix your food and get it together! I felt bad that I had suggested this place when I could tell no one was happy with their food and basically just enduring it. I hope that my friends don’t think that I have horrible Mexican-Food-Eating Skills… I DOKNOW what good Mexican food is. It is not here. Please fix. Thanks!

This place has the best customer service we have seen in the last year in Tri Cities. Not only that but is probably one of the best authentic Mexican food we have had in a long time. It’s fresh every time we go!

I’ve always been satisfied coming here before, but it’s nothing special and very blah. This last experience here pushed me over the edge and I probably won’t come back. It was a $ 14 burrito, with very very little meat and no flavor. Not worth the price, time, or calories! The staff is very friendly and accommodating, but the food doesn’t do it for me. I had a margarita there one time though, which was pretty yummy :)

I want to be kind, because any stars at all are for the people who work here, they appear friendly and kind. I also expect that there are«circumstances» here; this restaurant does not always appear to be very busy, but I am making an assumption that the very busy and brand new 5 Guys Burgers that opened up nearby, with its very long lines, is driving hungry customers instead to the nearest restaurants. That’s why we were here. I did not want to stand in line, and I was hungry. I’ve been to El Rancho Alegre a few years ago, and I am reminded why I never returned. I had a Corona, always good. Mr. had a margarita, he made a face when he took a drink. No bueno. Nothing special. I ordered two shredded beef tacos, Mr. ordered steak fajitas. Order came out. Two shredded beef tacos and a taco salad. Wrong! I ended up having most of my meal consumed by the time Mr. got his fajitas. The tacos were okay, somewhat soggy. The manager brought out two more tacos, but I only have so much room in the old gut and told him no thanks, but it was a nice gesture and redeemed any stars. The fajitas, well, our first thought: «Where’s the beef» Yeah, lots of onions and peppers, but little beef. Bland, no spice whatsoever, kind of an odd taste. Mr. says, «it’s going to take me awhile to get this taste out of my mouth.» Just meh. There are so many other really good Mexican restaurants around, this is not one on my list.

I can’t believe this place doesn’t have better reviews. This is my favorite mexican restaurant in the TC. Their camarones a la crema is hands down my favorite dish(it is HUGE, my husband and I slit it). I am there at least once a month, the staff there is so welcoming and they remember their costumers. Their chips and salsa are good. I’m just shocked it doesn’t have better reviews.

I’d always seen this joint up in the Queensgate area, and thought of giving it a try, but there was nothing ever really calling. I’m sure this is more a restaurant catered to the gringos. So, why would I go here when we have so many treasures in Pasco? Actually a friend happened to be in town and called me from here. I already had dinner, so I just went over for a drink(and some of her chips and salsa). I went with a margarita. Ok, ok, I’m a bit snobby when it comes to cocktails. With that said, this thing, which was served in a fish bowl-esque glass, just didn’t have any spirit. It didn’t taste very special — I hope they didn’t just make it with a boring pre-made margarita mix. Anyay, that was that. What got me was how much it cost. It was around $ 12! I had some sticker shock there and couldn’t really fathom how they could charge that for a mediocre drink. Luckily for me, my friend was payin’! ;) The chips and salsa were decent though.

We’ve been here a few times and each time has been«satisfactory». That’s kind of the problem. We’ll get into that later. The place is nice and fairly new; located right across from the new Target. It has nice décor, especially the custom(allegedly?) wood carved booths. The tables attempt«fancy» with tile inserts, but it just seems to be a magnet for old crumbs and food, making it fairly unappetizing. The glasses and silverware didn’t look to be the cleanest, either due to the fact that they really weren’t clean, or the dishwasher just leaves water spots. Service is fast(probably due to the fact that we were some of the few people there) and friendly. The food is really the problem here. It’s not bad by any stretch, it’s just that I’ve had it in dozens of other restaurants in the Tri-Cities. It doesn’t taste unique. Seriously, if you’ve had it one place, you’ve tasted the food here. Really, the only outstanding and unique thing that I found here was the sauce they put over their burritos. It’s actually very good. Sadly, nothing else here stands out, and when you couple that with higher than average prices, it just doesn’t amount to anything close to spectacular(though the salsa is good). It’s good if you’ve spent you whole day at Target and want something besides fast food, but other than that, it earns a «MEH!» and it’s own special spot in the«Hall of Mediocrity!»
