I only paid $ 10 for a manicure. The salon is clean and I liked that I didn’t have to wait for service. I was only in the salon for 30 minutes.

Megan and I should go shopping together since we seem to gravitate to the same places. I love this store too… it’s right up there with Gather and Posh for a diverse selection of stuff for your home and garden, with some local art and jewelry thrown in if you need a present for yourself.
I love the animal motif garden statuary and have my eye on some scottie book ends for my aunt, who lost her beloved Tina many years ago, but has never forgotten her.
They carry some great stuff from local artists and craftsmen. I particularly love Beverly Murphy’s stained glass.

This is another of those great, tiny home-​décor boutiques where I know I can go when I need a last-​minute hostess gift. There’s lots of seasonal home-​décor items including garden décor in the spring and lots of pretty holiday stuff in December. You’ll also find a nice selection of candles, spreaders, furniture, napkin holders and servers/​serving pieces. Also in the mix is some locally made jewelry.
It’s always fun to stop in and see what’s new. The owner is very friendly and informed about the items in her shop. On her recommendation, I picked up some gardening soap and lotion for my boyfriend’s mom who loves to garden. The owner said the soap really cleaned and that the lotion worked well, too. My boyfriend’s mom definitely seemed to like the gift.
Embellish is a great addition to the Lakeside shopping scene.
