Tool Guys

I can’t believe noone has reviewed Tool Guys yet. Tool Guys is one of the last standing local hardware stores (Aside from Pleasants of course)… it’s located right on Lakeside Ave and they very recently downsized their store, so they now are on the side of the strip mall right near the Lakeside Farmers Market.
They offer used tools, as well as some new items that you typically either run out of or break, and whenever I go in there (I’m usually dragged in there by my cruel husband) it feels very much like a manly man’s shop. Bunch of guys sitting up by the counter shooting the shit, shelves sometimes in disarray but they dont care because tools are tools…
You get the idea.
I think my husband likes to go browse this place because it feels manly, but to be honest we don’t buy a ton in here because their prices are a bit high, or they don’t seem to have what we are looking for.
However, if you are in the neighborhood and looking for a hardware store, support a local business and try them out.
