Holiday Motel

Total dump. I don’t expect much for $ 49 per, but wow. Room stank, Furniture is bed, chair and dresser, no tables of any kind. Wifi of course didn’t work. I asked for ice at check-​in, got a ziploc bag full and the lady said «that is all i give you».
Go next door to the Richmond Inn. Their google reviews are good. Spend the extra 6 bucks, you’ll regret it if you don’t.

If you have read any of my previous reviews maybe you would see a positive pattern. This place… wow I seriously have this sense of guilt for giving it the 1 star. I admit I’m cheap. I was traveling through at 3ish or so in the morning with numerous annoying little smelly dogs and a toddler. Cheapest way out is to get a little motel with outside doors to sneak the furry creatures in!!! Front door has a «we accept visa and mastercard» sign. Clerk gave me the stank eye when I pulled my visa out and asked if I could pay in cash! I was honest and said «not $ 58» thinking maybe she will take the «$ 40» I had and call it even. Hell no… Instead she charged me $ 3 for using my visa!!! Than another $ 5 for return remote charge! Like I’m going to watch some lovely cable after driving 15 hrs at this hour. I kept my cool. Used the old fashioned key with the big plastic tag labeling which door I had and found out my door didn’t even lock. Ok… I’m tired and everything is full for miles due to a stupid air show that decided to take place the same time I happend to stage my presence. That and the massive no refund sign kept me there. Bathroom had mold around sink and tub. The carpet smelled of rank urine and the bed was hard as a rock. To top it off 4 hours later I got caught loading the furry little creatures into my car. Same clerk (she must live there lol) demands I pay $ 15 per dog (x7) and states «I give you nice room» while shaking her head in shame at me. I had enough. I told the woman to charge my card or take the nice little $ 15 cash I just happend to né dangling in front of her greedy little beady eyes. What do you figure she took the $ 15. FYI the dogs didn’t even leave the cages so they had no mess to clean… Note to owner If I owned this place I would cut my loss and call the insurance people. Just sayin.
