Kulture Smoke and Vape Downtown

This store is mostly used to warehouse their stock and is no longer their «main» location. However it is still worth a visit if you are in the area and looking for something fast.
The store is two stories. The top floor being the «head shop» area and the bottom level being a glass blowing studio. When the artist are there it is pretty neat to watch them to their work.
The reason this place only gets 3 stars is 1) it’s mostly intended as a ware house 2) their selection is relatively small 3) the prices on some of the pieces can be too high. However, if you take you time and work with the employee and literally ask the price on every piece you interested in you will find a good deal (don’t feel uncomfortable it’s his job to help you). It’s best if you go in there knowing what you want and do a little bit of research before hand. I’ve heard horror stories of people getting terribly ripped of at various Kulture locations but I have no first hand experience of this.
Cool place to pick up incense, pieces, small selection of hookah supplies, in a hurry.

Very happy with my online order. Got a confirmation call almost immediately after. Staff was beyond friendly. Obviously glass enthusiasts who know their stuff. My order was shipped right away with bomb proof packaging. Tracking was provided. A couple of freebies were included. Highly recommend this place!

I was wandering around the area with a friend and we stopped in the Kulture just to look around. They actually had an ejuice that we hadn’t heard of: Peanut Butter & Jesus. Haven’t tried it yet but it was a good buy. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Good place to buy glass but don’t expect much enthusiasum out of the staff. If Kulture could work on anything, it would be their employees. Try to at least act like you enjoy what your doing.

My favorite glass shop in Richmond. They have a wide selection and a wide price range. There were times in my life when I was well-​paid and bought some amazingly complicated sick pieces here, but they still serve my needs as someone with a lot LESS money these days. Everyone is always friendly, and it always smells nice because of all the incense.

This place has the nicest people I know. They are nothing but helpful. I have been going there for years. Their product is great. It’s artwork. If you can’t find it here then it doesn’t exist. If you don’t like Kulture you are a terrorists.

These cats are friendly and will cheerfully answer any questions you have about their tobacco-​smoking devices. all sorts of blown glassware from independent craftsfolk. prices better than what you would pay online. all day long folks are quietly coming in & going out better prepared to face the world with an plain black bag under their arm. if you are a cop, teacher, or student ask for a discount. Kulture sells clothes as well, if that’s what you seek. a while back they offered vinyl records but have discontinued said endeavor.

Richmond doesn’t offer much in this style of shopping however this place does have a very large selection and friendly staff. Their glass pieces range from $ 15-​$ 700 (most being a little more expensive then you’d want to pay) but they are all good quality.
If you are looking for something in particular I would check here first, if they don’t have it there are still other options in the city… but this is my favorite.

I’ve been a customer at Kulture since 2006 when I first discovered the shop. Never ever before had I been in such a deluxe glass shop. Over the past 3+ years I’ve learned more about the artistry, utility, variety and purpose of hand pipes, water pipes, vaporizers, papers, accessories, etc. from the knowledgeable staff there. I’ve also been to the other 2 locations and had the same great experience.

they made me feel like a total criminal while i was in there. i was just poking around checking things out. no sir i didn’t like it. i don’t think i’ll ever go back.
