We started to make Little Sheba’s our regular Thursday night evening out back in early February 2013. I have decided to work my way through the entire menu, well at least the sandwiches or it would take years. I am still on the first page but my friend has a fondness for Dr. Jetmore’s Flamethrower. We always order New Boswell On Thursday’s they have a trivia contest which

I’ve gone from a 2-star to a 1-star and I’m to the point I don’t think I’ll ever be back. It is just overpriced, low quality, and poor service.

Ugh! Tired of the bad food. I got breadsticks, and marinara sauce. If I wanted tomato paste I would have bought some… at the store. The food just keeps getting worse.

The burgers are usually great as are some of the other sandwiches. The service is ok. I don’t like the weekend evenings there because it gets loud with music. For those who like that I’m sure it’s great but it’s not my thing. The last time we were in(3 months ago) they had live music AND the radio going at the same time. We couldn’t hold a conversation. I haven’t been back.

Amazing service, the kettle chips were great, and the pizza and BLT tasty. Certainly worth going to again.

They prices go up but the quality has gone down. Everything seems to have been fixed by 16 year old cooks or straight out of a Sysco can. Needs someone to straighten out the kitchen. Invest in kitchen equipment other than a small stove and a microwave!

We stopped by on our way home from New York. Great restaurant with yummy food. We tried the astrophysicist and the Italian stallion, both were delicious! When I walked in I was greeted by a friendly owner and a helpful staff. We will definitely stop by again if in the area.

For starters I had the Jive Turkey Burger which was a premade frozen pattie. Second The waitress, while not unfriendly, was very much in a hurry and we felt rushed. Other than that the food was OK, not great, not bad.

Great home town and depot atmosphere. Original food only to little shebas. Greek pizza is great. Cokes are great. Live music is too loud sometimes.

Had lunch there and the burger was great and the potato salad is definitely different but really tasty! Was busy today at lunch and the food still came out quickly and warm. Great experience and will definitely return to try another burger!

The burger is almost worth the drive from Columbus ;-) friendly staff and great food. Bowl of chili as appetizer was pretty good as well. This will be the the spot to stop when heading west from now on.

A great little local place. The menu is huge so there’s bound to be something for everyone! Personally, I love their pizzas! The Bugsy BBQ is also good! If you’re a cherry Coke or cherry Sprite drinker, it’ll come complete with maraschino cherries. Theyfe even got a good kid’s menu! Beware! If you go during busy times(lunch or at night when there’s live music) parking can be a bit difficult so don’t be surprised if you have to drive around a bit to find a spot.

One of the best sandwich shops in Indiana. Unique menu which never disappoints. A must if your near Richmond.

We stopped for a late lunch. The food was ok. The atmosphere seemed kind of sports bar — just not our thing.

My family and I just had a fantastic lunch at Little Sheba’s. The service was excellent and the owner even came by to say hi and spent some time talking to us. The menu had a wide variety of options. We each got something different and everyone enjoyed their meal. We shared an order of kettle chips before our meal and they were great too. Glad we stopped in this top notch local restaurant for lunch today. We’ll definitely be back whenever we’re in town. There were a few other dishes I wanted to try!

Thank you, Unilocal, for pointing out this fantastic location. Adorable place with a fantastic and expansive sandwich menu. I had trouble deciding what to get… Greek pizza won out, and I have zero regrets about the choice. I thought I saved room for dessert, but I can’t believe the size of the Peanut Butter Brownie! If you can go during the Christmas Festival, Santa will stop by to say Hello. What a great memory! Definitely read the history on the back of the menu. This story is what makes the place such a great find.

Absolutely AMAZING! I found this place on Unilocal.I was looking for something off the beaten path with good reviews. I drove 50 minutes and across a state line for the sole purpose of coming here. So, upon arriving, they already had a big job ahead of them. We were immediately invited to seat ourselves. In less than 2 minutes our server approached and began to take our drink order. She was very kind and helpful. She easily made us feel welcome. One of the absolute BEST parts about Little Sheba’s is that they have Diet Vanilla Coke on fountain! It was amazing. They have typical soft drinks and a full bar service. Drinks were returned so quickly we had to ask for extra time. The menu had so many things we wanted to try that it took us a few minutes to decide. After finally placing our order, we waited less than 10 minutes for an appetizer to arrive. It was hot, and incredibly delicious. Our main entrees were delivered less than 10 minutes after that. We were very impressed. They were not swamped but definitely busy. Our server was great. She was attentive and very on top of everything we needed. Little Sheba’s is quite the drive for dinner but we have not one single complaint about our experience. 2 Adult entrees, 2 sodas, an appetizer and a kids combo meal and we were out under $ 35 including a generous tip. We will definitely be returning.

I met some friends here for lunch. I was early, so I walked around the block. This is a great district downtown with a bunch of well preserved old brick buildings. There are several places worth visiting. Little Sheba’s is primarily a sandwich shop and what wonderful sandwiches! It will be difficult to decide what to order — the selection is quite large and there are many creatively designed sandwiches to choose from. I had the Dirty Rotten Scoundrel — ham and turkey with green pepper and pineapple with their special sauce served on pita bread — wonderful warm, fresh pita bread. The Scoundrel is delicious and I am pretty confident you’ve never had something like this before. Beyond the sandwiches they have dinner specials and pizza. They have a large patio for outdoor seating and the same people appear to own the adjacent bar.

When I think of the area around the train depot, I either think of getting on a train to Virginia as a child or I think of the drunks and druggies but I never think of successful businesses. Walking into this restaurant brought back memories of Sylvania’s at a time when it was pretty much the only thing on Fort Wayne Avenue that wasn’t trouble. Little Sheba’s tells me that’s all gone and that the area is successful, and that’s pleases me to no end. It’s still not that comfortable for me in the area. So, I decided to try it again, having been there once since 2008. That time, it was so packed, it seemed almost difficult to find air. That’s a great thing. This time, at almost 2 p.m., there weren’t many customers at all. I had to really read the menu and settled on the Italian Stallion Sub. $ 7.99 is a bit more than say, Penn Station, but I hoped that it would be worth it. It came with a side item such as chips, cole slaw, or apple sauce. The waitress really took time to explain things, which was great, since I had no idea. I was pleased that they had Raspberry Iced Tea, also. The tea was good. The sandwich seemed a bit salty, for whatever reason. The seemed to have used a sandwich press on it to heat and flatten it a bit. The size of the roll was a bit smaller than expected(no, I didn’t have a Subway-bound tape measure!) but the taste was good, despite the extra saltiness. The dill pickle spear was crunchy, as it should be, and the chips were bagged, which isn’t so terrible – they’re often served that way in Philly. I came away with a good feeling about the whole experience. It’s no wonder they’re popular.
