I have a hard time understanding a steakhouse running out of a steak that is on their regular menu. Granted there was a $ 5 off coupon, but at 3PM on a Friday is not the busy time of day. The coupon says while supplies last, but it was 3 days before the end of the promotion. Limited availability promotions always scream«bait and switch» to me. The manager didn’t even bother to stop by the table or make any other offer. If this was a promotional item and not on the regular menu, I would understand, but going into the weekend without the porterhouse steak advertised, seems like poor management.

we eat at the bar. are food is 90 percent of the time it is perfect. i am picky and they do a good job. i eat my steak med to med/rare. the service is usually great although they have had a big service change recently. the service last time was slow and choppy. i ordered something that cant be over cooked(deep Fried Food)

Ate there last night. It took over 40 minutes to receive 3 steaks, and every steak was overcooked, and dry. I do not complain about food if it is edible, but my medium steak tasted well-done and it was sitting under a heat lamp for awhile. The baked potatoes we received were hot, so that must explain the delay. The waitress was concerned about our steaks so there must of been something up, she ask probably 3 – 5 times if they were okay. I probably had the best house salad ever tonight though! When we paid for our check, we were given more salad and a water, and the lady pretty much said… «why did they tell me the wrong table.» The kitchen did not have it together tonight and well if it was not for a gift card, I would not have paid 18 dollars for a rib-eye steak.

We had dinner here tonight, and the both of us had an enjoyable time. It was busy, but then, it was Saturday evening, UK was playing, and the weather was decent — so lots of people were out. We had about a ten minute wait, which was fine. Our waitress was super nice, and checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was good and to see if we needed drink refills. Even though she was very busy, she didn’t forget about us and kept returning occasionally. She earned a good tip. Her name was Dixie, and we both felt she provided excellent service. Our food was hot, made to order, and arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Again, the place was pretty busy, so we had maybe a 10 – 15 minute wait on our food order.

My son, who just got his first real paycheck decided to take his mom out for a nice birthday dinner. I picked Logan’s expecting it to be a nice experience. BAD decision! The waitress was extremely slow, she never asked if we needed refills, and she brought us our check without asking if we wanted dessert. My son called the waitress over and says«It’s my mom’s birthday and I’ll have an Apple Cobbler.» In a little while several of the waitresses come over, asked my name and did their little birthday salute, sat his dessert down, and walked away. I got nothing! And I even ate broccoli so I could enjoy a birthday treat!!! Very disappointed birthday girl! The only thing good about this visit was the food. the steak and the bread were perfect!

Stopped here for dinner the other night. Worst experience I have ever had at a Logan’s and I’ve been to a bunch. Walked in and got sat right away. Then proceeded to wait 10 minutes to get greeted. Took 6 more minutes to get our water. We finally get to order and I tell the waitress to bring stuff out as soon as it’s ready because we are kind of in a hurry. Waited 22 minutes and all our food came out together. Was never offered refills on our drinks and had to flag someone down to get them. Our waitress really could not have cared less about us. My chicken wings came out with no sauce and my cheese fries were cold and cheese was dry and hard. They said they would bring out more and they were better but the fries were still room temperature. My son ordered a medium steak and it came out close to well done. My wife has food allergies and ordered her steak medium-rare and that was good but her sweet potato was wrong and would have made her very sick if she didn’t inspect it. Overall we spent too much time and money and had a very crappy experience. The manager was helpful with a couple of minor things but that was it. We will not be stopping at this Logan’s in the future on our drives south.

8 people for lunch at 1:30. Two orders correct because they were only a salad. Fries cold, steak cold, another streak undercooked. Roadhouse burger delivered as deluxe roadhouse burger. Don’t take money off the bill just deliver the correct food.

Ordered the chicken fried steak. Was so tough could not cut it. Re ordered chicken, was ok. They tried pawning off a 12 oz warm beer in a pint glass and charge the pint price due to them running out of large beer glasses. Probably won’t go back, not going to pay good money for a mediocre meal. May try another location but not this one. Good luck.

I could not eat my salad when they brought it due to not getting silverware when we were seated. Then it took forever for the waitress to finely come to check on us. The ribeye was tougher than I expected. The bread is great or this is a one star.

I really enjoy Logan’s, but this one is not consistent with others that I have visited regularly. Sometimes the food is great, other times they completely mess up your order. I’d say they mess up your order more often than not. If you have patience this may not be a bad thing because management will take care of your meal if you complain to them. Certainly not a place to go on a special occasion because you couldn’t be sure it would be a great experience.

The New York Strip is a lie. It’s a very very thin cut of low quality meat cooked in a warming tray and then thrown on the grill to match how well done you want it. It was flavorless and a rip off. One of us got the smaller ounce sirloin and it was a far larger steak. The place was generally unclean. I wanted to tell someone how disappointed I was with the cheap cuts of meat they poorly cooked, but no one asked or cared how our dinner was. I think they exist just to rip off people passing by on the highway.

Hmmm, I always get the $ 7.99 value meal? it is combine a main dish with two sides, makes me pretty full. dinner roles are always good. thought the quality of food is not always guaranteed, the vege side dish are tasty but with lots of butter, don’t get that confused, ladies!

Stopped in here on a Tuesday afternoon to have a steak with my father. We were sat in a far corner of the restaurant and promptly left there. We ordered a couple of ribeye steak dinners with the sides(baked potato and salad). After a few moments were were served the salads and they were very good. Several minutes later, we were served our steak dinners. They were cooked very well, however my potato was cold and old. We were approached by the waitress and we asked for our checks. We sat waiting so long for our checks that my 78 year old father finally got up and even tried to flag our waitress down. After a few more moments we were finally given our checks and the bills were payed. Regardless whether the meal is good, mediocre or otherwise… bad service is unforgivable. Work on it Logan’s in Richmond… work on it hard.

One of the best parts about Logan’s is the free peanuts. The floor is littered with shells and provides a bit of laid-back atmosphere for everyone. Every customer is offered rolls that are hot, fresh, and melt in your mouth! One of my favorite items on the menu is simply the cheeseburger. The meat here is a higher quality than you might get in your standard burger joint. I also enjoy the sirloin steak with baked potato, though, in my experience, the steak has been hit or miss in terms of its preparation and quality. On the other hand, the burger has always been a hit. The service is quick and efficient. I have been to a variety of Logan’s over the years, and I have never had a terrible server. I always make a point to go to Logan’s when I am home. The closest thing I have to it where I live is a Texas Roadhouse.

The men’s room smells like a three week old litter box. Other than that the place ain’t too bad if you want a cheap steak.
