Golden Corral

I have been to several Golden Corral’s but this one is by far the best! I contribute this to the manager on duty. He was a very hands on manager. He was constantly checking the bar to make sure nothing ran out. He walked around talking to the customers getting feedback from them and trying to make sure they were happy with the food. I’ve NEVER seen a manager from the other Golden Corral’s I’ve been to. When I asked why the GC’s only make breaded fish now instead of batter fried, he offered to go batter fry some for me! He said in his restaurant if you don’t find something you want, just let him know and if he would make it for you if possible. The food was all fresh and fully stocked. I was totally shocked to find such a great place to eat. I will definitely eat there again and will recommend it to anyone who’s hungry for fresh cooked food. Great management.

Went on a Saturday night, I was so surprised that everything was fresh, cooked well and delicious! The restaurant is new and I went at a prime time but this was by far my best experience at a Golden Corral. Dessert not pictured but it was even better omg

Go hungry and prepare to waddle as you leave! One of the best buffets I have found. There are soo many choices, even the pickiest of eaters should find something they like. The steak on the buffet was cooked perfectly, the salad bar was fresh and well stocked, and the new Peaches & Cream Waffles are so yummy… a perfect dessert!

My wife and I have ate there 4 times now, trying to give them a chance. Every time I have eaten there it was TERRIBLE! The food is definitely not fresh. What food that is on the buffet is scarce. There are two conditions of the food; undercooked or overcooked. As a new establishment, I would think they would be on top of their game. I guess I’m wrong. The service. Let’s talk about the service… actually, what service? One of my visits, I actually had to get up, after almost 20 minutes, to find my «waitress» to ask for a refill. On one of our visits, we watched a celebratory congratulations for the owners, I assume, of the establishment whilst being neglected. Approximately 10 – 15 employees stood around while people were waiting for service. In my opinion, Golden Corral of Richmond needs to get it together!

15 dollars their food is very fresh. I love the steak there. Normally the steak would be bad in buffet but their’s is perfect! 5 stars !

New, clean, good management, a little crazy only open a few days but very good overall. Try it out and make sure to get there before 8 pm

The price of the dinner buffet is a bit excessive at almost $ 28 for two people so if you are going to come here then you better come with a full appetite. Just like other golden corrals you do everything yourself to include getting your own silverware which always leaves me to question why you have a server. Our server didn’t come back to the table til we had finished eating and was ready to leave before she asked if we wanted a refill. The food was ok, it is a buffet after all and it just opened so expectations aren’t as high as a restaraunt such as Malones in Lexington. I will visit again and maybe try it for lunch in hopes of a cheaper meal, I can think of other places I can visit and pay $ 14 a piece and receive better quality food
