The food is delicious and fresh… The line may get long during the 12 – 1 lunch peak, but it is well worth the wait. Once you get your meal, you can easily carry it out on the grounds on a nice day for lunch. A special thanks to the staff for always making my day.

Midlothian, VA
On Friday I was invited for an informal goodbye lunch for a retiring colleague at the Café. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and an ice cream. The place is small but busy with Capitol staffs and those who know about this hidden gem. The 3 cooks behind the counter were really working hard, and the food was fresh and delicious. We ended up going upstairs where there were more tables, there were 10 of us, so overall it was both an interesting place to lunch at and a wonderful culinary experience, I will come back to try the other items on the menu!
