Third visit here. I would rate the food slightly above average. Fair pricing. Not the best or the worst. Small. I usually get take out. They also deliver.

Gave this place a try … General tso chicken was ok, special fried rice was bland, hot and sour soup was bland, SESAMEBEEF was disgusting … We were not bark to eat it as we feared it was bad … Old beef? Will not be ordering from this place ever again.

Good place to eat and great price. Family owned and always enjoy the take out lunch/dinner choices. The specials come with a appetizer, soup and your main order for under $ 11.00. Great place for take out or when you do not want to cook.

I was in the mood for Chinese food but didn’t feel like driving all the way to Bellaire where the food is the best so I decided to visit Peking Garden, a place very close to my home that I had been several years ago. I had noticed that it had turned into a buffet restaurant and found out that lunch was about $ 7 so I said what the heck. When I drove up I noticed a bunch of pick up trucks in front of the place and saw about 3 tables of what looked like gents taking a lunch break from a hard morning’s work. Their plates were piled full and their appetites were quite good! Having a bit of hesitation I decided to go on in since I was already there. There was a young lady tending to a customer but once she noticed me she came and greeted me pleasantly enough and quickly brought me a tall glass of iced water which I requested. After I settled in my booth I made a beeline for the buffet table and perused the offerings… Standard buffet fare… beef, chicken, shrimp, green beans, sweet and sour… very Americanized. The fried rice looked fresh and so did the noodles. For soup they had a rather dark and thick Hot and Sour with a tin of whole mushrooms floating around in it… won ton soup with the won tons in a pan by it’s side and a rather yellowish egg drop soup… no green onions in sight anywhere… Well I made myself a plate and dove in. Assessment — fair. food was warm. seemed fresh. Soup was ok. It was a convenient place to go… nothing spectacular. Service was lukewarm… I measure everything by Chick Fil A which is always outstanding! Salt grass too! Seems like a place a lot of workers like to flock to… contractors with pick ups… Will I go back? Maybe… but probably not for quite awhile…

Good food at a good price. Nice family owned place. Food has always been hot and fresh. Never had home delivery, but pick up order was always ready.

This place has gotten much better with time. I always order delivery, and their service is quick. The egg rolls are good and crispy, the General Tso’s Chicken is good, and I like their Hot and Sour soup, although it is a little mild. I always add a little vinegar and hot sauce at home. Their fried rice is some of the best I have found, flavorful and light & fluffy rice. Overall a good value for the low price they charge.

This place was okay at best. It will do in a pinch when you really want some Chinese food and don’t want to go far. I had crab Rangoon, general tso’s chicken, an egg roll, and hot and sour soup. The soup was not hot or sour. It had a fair amount of «goodies» in it but not the vinegar flavor I usually like in this soup. The crab rangoons were okay but had very little filling. The egg roll was pretty standard but I did like that they used a slightly thinner wrapper, almost like a springroll wrapper so it was very crunchy. The chicken was not spicy and the sauce was pretty thick and sweet but it was edible. The chicken appeared to be all white meat which was a plus. I will continue searching for my go-to take out place but this place wasn’t horrible.
