For the price the room was great! The hotel was decent and they provide breakfast! I will definitely stay here again. It was a great opportunity to also be on a Main Street where there are many stores. I definitely recommend this hotel. My only disappointment was they charge for the safety box I feel like this should have been indicated In my confirmation I truly was unaware.

When people give 123 star ratings to a(2 star hotel) I kind of want to stomp their typing fingers. Do you expect a concierge at a 2 star hotel… valet parking… massage perhaps for 2 star prices lol. Heck no you get what you pay for. For $ 50-$ 79 a night the Quality Inn(which I stay in 5 – 8 times a month lately) is clean quiet well decorated. the beds are nice and soft as are the pillows. The maids are super nice… and they have free wifi pool and breakfast. Thomas, Chanay, and Lisa are super friendly. Lisa went out of her way to help me fix a priceline issue i had with a whole nother hotel. Chanay came up in person to help with my fridge, and Thomas is always smiling. It also seems like the managers are nice to the workers which is cool to see.

got it for $ 40 per night on priceline, so can’t really complain. elevators need servicing, staff is apathetic, which is a sign of poor management. WiFi and bfast r decent tho. and its in a great location.

It was a ok hotel, I stayed there for two nights for a tournament and I was very disappointed with the condition. This is only good for one night.

They have bedbugs. We checked in & out within half and hour. On the bright side, at least the staff was nice about it. On the down side, they didn’t seem at all surprised.

In Sept 2011 I rated this place two stars for several problems. This time it gets two stars for a far worse situation. At just before 11 pm the fire alarm goes off in the hotel. Looking out in the hallway I don’t see anything of concern and call down to the front desk to inquire. Desk clerk says it is «probably nothing» and is waiting for the fire dept to come and reset the alarm. I remain in my top floor room, and a little later peer down to see one of the fire trucks and a fireman putting on an air pak system. I am guessing that means this could be more than an alarm reset and I go down six flights of stairs. Seems like there was some type of fire on the 2nd floor. Later after personal inquiry we(those on the 6th floor) were told me could go to our rooms as long as we used the stairs. Just as with the key problems I had last year, there was no apology from the front desk or any room rate discount for this inconvenience. I have already alerted co workers with my company to consider other hotels in the area.

For a $ 50 room for 3 people it was fine. Close to restaurants and shops.

Not going to lie– for the price, this place is awesome. My parents are bargain vacationers, and they love this place because its right on Broad Street(aka close to lots of big names like Big Lots, Red Lobster, and of course the best Goodwill location in town) so its easy to get around, and it’s clean and comfortable and has a refrigerator in the room. For me personally, I think it’s a little shabby, and the bathrooms are very small. but again, the prices are so reasonable, you could really afford to stay there probably twice as long as you could at any other hotel in the area. And it’s clean and comfortable. Its not fancy and if you like chic luxury linens you are in the wrong place, but its definitely a contender… And though it’s tacky to talk price, I can’t help but say that my parents have stayed here for as little as $ 49 per night. The staff is very nice, and the continental breakfast is decent(though frankly there are plenty of breakfast places nearby that out of towners should try…). Their lobby is actually very comfortable and nicely appointed, and really the only thing in the whole hotel that stuck out to me was some stucco walls here and there. If you are looking to visit Richmond on the cheap, and don’t mind staying in the suburbs, check this place out.
