New Executive Chef = Excellent New Menu! I met Kyle the new chef. Nice guy but, more importantly, an excellent chef. I had the smokehouse salad. The chicken has a real nice smoked flavor. Dressing was just right… not too much(My pet peeve). I travel through this airport often and cannot wait to try some of the other menu choices. Thank you Kyle for turning around this restaurant!

I arrived at 5:35pm and waited 10 minutes before a waitress came to the table. I ordered a beer, which arrived about 10 minutes later. I then placed an order for a sandwich and then my waitress disappeared. It took me 40 minutes before I caught the attention of another waiter to ask if I could just pay for my beer, as my flight would be boarding soon. 10 minutes later, I flagged down the same waiter to tell him that I still haven’t seen my waitress and bill. I waited yet another 10 minutes for my waitress to take my credit card. An hour and 20 minutes to get a beer and to pay for it. No food, no apology.

We had a delayed flight and decided to visit for dinner on Sunday evening. When you first walk in there was no staff visible to greet you and it created some confusion if we seat ourselves or not. We decided to sit down and after about 8 – 10 minutes of no acknowledgement finally a server walked over to our table. We ordered our drinks and dinner immediately because we had plenty of time to review the menu. When our drinks came out. I added some sweetener to what was supposed to be Unsweetened tea. It was definitely not what I ordered and I had just added sweetener to already sweet tea. No harm done if I could find someone to help me swap it out. Unfortunately we waited another 15 – 20 minutes until our food arrived. It was then I was finally able to ask for UNSWEeT tea. I ordered the VA crab salad. It was awful. There were a few flecks of crab meat and it tasted as if it had been sitting in a fridge and had absorbed nasty smells. Then the rest of the salad was all peppery lettuce with flavorless croutons. Three total items in my salad all of which had barely any seasoning and gross. It was just purely gross and disappointing. My husband got the Grilled Chicken salad and a side of fries. The grilled chicken was also bland, but still better than the crab salad. The fries we had to request because they did not come out with our salads. The fries were cold and limp. The one thing we did like was the theme. The stadium-esque bar stools, and the sports memorabilia around the bar were styled nicely. All and all, with the poor service, lack of acknowledgement, long wait times, errors with our orders, terrible food, I am giving this a one star review. I’d try another restaurant at RIC next time.

Hi! Here’s your menu! Here’s your food! Here’s your check! Goooooo! That’s great when you’re in a hurry, not so much when you are killing time before your flight. Food was good(grilled chicken salad), server was nice. I just felt rushed.

This is my go-to-spot when traveling thru Richmond Airport. The food is very good and so is the bartender Monique. She has been there every time I have been so I’m thinking she lives there! The only negative I have is on the very high price for the wines! I paid $ 17.25 for a 9 oz. pour of Clos Du Bois Chardonnay and that’s crazy, in my opinion.

I’m impressed for airport food!!! Got the grill salad which was tasty and fresh. Waffle fries are delicious here! Service was good, easy to find a table, and got our food quick. TVs all over the place with a variety of sporting events and news on. The barstool seats are baseball stadium seats which adds a nice touch to the ambiance. Would recommend this place if you are looking for a place to eat in the airport!

The weakest drink I have ever had at an airport. Also the bartender was not the least bit friendly or personable.

With a little time and a slightly grumbling stomach, I decided to hit up this restaurant in the terminal before flying back to NY. Service was pretty standard, although it took me a bit of time to get someone to even give me a menu, and the waiter didn’t seem to have a very good knowledge of the local craft brews on tap. I decided to go for a bowl of chili — a mistake in hindsight, as it was one of the blandest bowls of food I’ve eaten in some time. The only strong flavor that stood out was the tomatoes; the meat was unflavored, the cheese barely existent(it looked like the pre-bagged shredded kind), and it was a very sad-looking(and sad-tasting) experience overall. I will say that I like the sports theme of the bar, namely the bleacher seats serving as bar seats, but the food was pretty unremarkable, and the local beer provided similar(disappointing for a craft brew fan like myself). You’re in an airport, so you can’t really ask for too much, but if I fly through RIC again and have some time, I’d probably check out other food options first.

Food was ok, nothing outstanding, but not bad. The server was nice and it did hit the spot.

Well, it’s not the greatest restaurant in the world, nor did it serve me the most satisfying meal. But I bought some food here that I’m somewhat happy for; that’s not too bad, is it? Their house salad was $ 6.99, and it was $ 2.99 more to add some chicken to that salad. Well, whatever. I was hungry, which usually means I’ll pay more than I normally would for food. A house salad is just a very basic salad with lettuce, tomato, cheese, egg, bacon, and croutons. You could put this together yourself in your own kitchen, but if you’re at this airport, then chances are you’re not close to your kitchen. Chicken is just chicken; it was grilled and placed atop the salad. Nothing special about it. The whole thing also came with dressing which I ended up not even using. Sure this food could have been better, but at least it did its job of filling my stomach.

Stopped for a beer on layover. Funny that beer prices are *not* on the menu, but food is. Food prices are sneaky and reasonable for airport grub, like 9 bucks or whatever for a sandwich. 24 oz beer was 9.25. Fine, but can you print it please on the menu and not be so sneaky? I grabbed a local beer, Legend Brown Ale, and it’s good. I was here on a Saturday afternoon with not much activity in the airport, so service was passable.

Very good hot wings and French fries. Don’t miss them on the front page. Nice atmosphere, nice wait staff, but a bit slow the day I was in. This place is more of a casual bar or local hang out feel. I’ll look to come back as I fly through Richmond.

Server(N. Coleman) was very rushy though not too busy in the restaurant. Ordered shrimp po boy, was OK. Just fried shrimp in a bun with an OK ram sauce. Clean. Sports bar atmosphere. Nothing too big here, nothing very healthy. Pretty pricey.

Not sure how the food was but had a bunch of beers in between flights. Nothing special, domestic beers at an expensive price.
