Sams Club

First of all its Sam’s Club. It’s like an upgraded Wal-​Mart (of which I’m not a fan) but between the samples and sheer selection it keeps me coming back.
The check out process can be a hint daunting (never enough lines open) but i always mange to not be in a hurry when i go.
If you are hungry the food/​restaurant is a great place to get decent food at a good cost.

Oh you know, just your average big bulk box store. Large shelves, huge boxes of cereal, 8 loaves of bread in 1 pack. If you’re hosting a family reunion or the football team this is your place. Overall the floors were pretty dirty, employees have a sad look, and a hint of ghetto make this just an average Sams Club.

This is my closest Sam’s location and usually it serves its purpose, but sometimes it does not. There are times when I visit this location and they are out of the produce I want or the rotisserie chicken I would like to take home for dinner. I do not mind them being out of chicken as that is an easy fix, but I only go to Sam’s mainly for gas, produce, and paper products. If they are out of the produce I want, then a membership is of no service to me. I also echo what other Unilocalers have said about the long lines. I’ve been visiting this location for around three years and the lines are terribly long. Why are only two registers open when the store is busy? Where is the staff? I’ve also had many problems getting gas. Customers are very pushy at this location especially when the lines are long and will do anything and everything to cut in front of you. Usually, the attendants are policing them; however, just be aware that the attitudes are strong at this location. Other than that, the store is clean and the staff that I have encountered have always been very friendly.

This location is badly in need of some management. Long lines with only 3 registers open. They had an issue with the card scanner at my register and the management was as clueless as the woman running the register. The people there show a terrible, none-​caring attitude. It’s been the same over and over. Come on corporate.

This Sam’s Club is getting busier, and adding more selections throughout the store.
I am updating my review of this store. The attitude of the employees has greatly improved. I believe the store got a new manager that got things really hopping at the store.
I used to really enjoy the pizza at the café. I no longer buy anything from the café. The pizza has become all dough with little sauce and little cheese.
My opinion of the staff has improved. The people at the front door are very nice. The staff in the Tire Dept. are very friendly and nice. Same with the optical dept.
The store is very clean and well stocked.

Unorganized. Time in lines too long. I travel to BJs Mechanicsville to avoid Sam’s Club Laburnum even though Sam’s is minutes from my house. The staff is rude and bothered, that includes the management. Also they don’t accept Visa credit cards. That’s because it cost Sam’s too much to process Visa payments. I say WTF??? I’m sticking with BJs and they even have self checkout lines and they accept coupons. Sam’s laburnum gets an F+ from me.

Not much good things to say about this place… Does not have a good selection on produce or meats. Customer service could use some work. And the last time I had a hot dog at the Café, it was lukewarm and felt a little unsafe to eat. I“m a big fan of Sams but not this location. The layout sorta resembles Costco’s.

Just like any other Sams you’ve gone to, the only thing that’s better is the parking here. It’s easy to get in and get out of the Sams which is something, I like!

The next best thing to Wally World. By location this Sam’s is closer to me but it does not have some of the things the other sites have and every now and then it is hard to find good produce and I have taken back some meats. They do not do the money back and ½ the cost in refunds either. Overall it is not bad I just go a lot.
