Sonic Drive-In

Great company. Forgive old post. I’m new here. So figuring things out. Changing attiude on life. Good company. Was just taken buy surprise on lady who asked for tip. Didn’t realized it was legal here. Sorry. Not in california. Happy with company.

I’ve tried going here several times because, after all, it is fast food and I try to have realistic expectations. This place however is pretty bad. 30 minutes for a small order, drinks spilled all over, cold food, and carhops that are just plain rude. I highly recommend driving the extra five minutes to the one on Mason near 99. It is exponentially better!

The workers are slow and they always manage to mess up my order some how. I don’t recommend going here.

NO WAY! SO DONE! I wish you could rate zero stars. In Short, order taker needed it spelled out the ONE MENU ITEM i needed. Brought two instead. Left to fix, then disappeared for over 10 minutes with my card. Had to flag down another carhop just to find out what was going on. Guy comes back asking if i had cash. I told him no and why. He says «oh the machine isnt working». Smelling BS i asked him“oh ok. Did this just happen? Are you turning people away who dont have cash?” His lack of response and blank expression told me this was his incompetence not the machine. I was beyond frustrated and demanded my card and tossed the now HALF MELTED ice cream on his tray and left. Total time from order to leaving 30 minutes with 1 other customer un front who left within 5. If this was a rare occurence i would overlook it but it is not. With the exception of one employee i see during the day. The staff here are a bunch of bumbling idiots. On the weekends it is worse because the teenage D league is out. I dont care ive been coming here for 5 years. It is not worth it anymore. Good luck folks

The service is ok sometimes and they’ve never messed up my order exactly but… well, whoever mixes the ice cream here apparently has no idea how or the machine is broken. Pecan Grove Sonic, your ice cream is gritty. I had a Java Chiller today and it was like drinking coffee flavored sand. I’ve been here for ice cream related products about 4 times in the last 6 months and it’s been gritty –every– time. I always give the ice cream another chance because, well, I assume someone will notice and fix the gritty ice cream, but alas. Never again.

This is another hit or miss with service location. When the older gentleman is there I get great service. When he is not there you never know how long the wait is or if your order is correct. Thought by now they would have this under control.

Service sucks.

Good comfort (but not necessarily good-​for-​you) food. While we live in the 21^st century, you can still get the ‘50s drive-​in feel on any given weekend night; especially during the summer when every car stall is full and their patio is full of families eating the high calorie burgers and impossibly fattening shakes. Sometimes, we need to be bad, and this is the place to go.

Have always loved their drinks. Great cups with good ice, but this location is hit and miss. They run out of items that should be normal stock and some of the employees seem put out by you ordering. Have had several hamburgers made incorrectly.

I’ve stopped by here a couple times, and the service is very very slow, and the people are unfriendly.
No complaints about food and drink.

I see the commercials out here in CA all the time but have no idea where any are around here. I could probably Google it. However, my parents live a few miles away from this one in Richmond, TX. I’ve only been to this one a few times and it’s OK, but the commercials make me crave it. The burger isn’t anything to go off on how great it is, but it does kill your burger craving. I haven’t tried any of there other items like the tatter tots or hot dogs. I’m going to have to stick with my In-​N-​Out at here.
My review on this place is just as exciting as the burgers are here.
