Sonic

Came in today for a regular burger combo, but just chili and cheese on the burger. And for the drink I asked for an ocean water. When I went up to pay on the drive through, the lady gave me a regular water, so I corrected her and she charged me for 2 ocean waters for some reason. I said what the hell, it’s happy hour anyways. So when I got home with my meal, and opened up the burger, the burger had nothing in it! Just buns and a patty. I am now sitting here eating the most plain burger possible. Nonetheless I will never go to this sonic again. My bill added up to $ 9. $ 9 for the most plain meal ever… at least I got 2 ocean waters… which I had to PAY for…

Make sure you have reading material with you before coming here. They are in no hurry whatsoever, so you’d better not be either. More than once we’ve had to wait between 10 – 15 minutes for a very simple order and even then it sometimes comes back wrong. The service is almost always pitiful and slowwwwwww. We’ve gotten out of the drive-​thru line a few times due to the slow service. The employees we’ve encountered here could not possibly care any less. Here’s a suggestion for those non service-​oriented workers: GO WORK AT THE DMV OR ANOTHER GOV’T AGENCY WHERE YOU WILL FIT RIGHT IN!
This Sonic location needs a serious reboot.

I drive through here very frequently. The location is always on the way to my kid’s school, to my family’s place, and to work. Almost as frequently, I have to return because they forgot something in my order or it was an incorrect item. I normally don’t bother, but this week I had an incorrect order twice and could not turn back from my destination to return it. Once, I could run back and they were nice enough. CHECK YOUR BAG! If you do not have time to do so, and need food quickly and correctly, go elsewhere! Actually, I’m getting a little upset recalling all of the times I had to grab breakfast on the run and did not get what I ordered, and was too far into my trip. VERY frustrating.

If you’ve been to Sonic you know what to expect. Half price drinks 2−4pm and delicious tots. This place met both of those requirements.

½ price milkshakes after 8pm was what brought us here. Strawberry shakes are good… oreo cheesecake my husband had was very sweet and fattening. My husband said he watched the employee dig their hands in the cherry pile and put it in our drinks… hence the reason for 3 stars. Yuck! And I wanted my cherry!

Just your average Sonic. Some good desserts, creative drinks, and alright food. It has a nice outdoor seating area, but no inside seating. Generally good service with some nice employees. It’s alright…

Typical Sonic, they do a good job of trying to get you in and out pretty quick. Love the tater tots! They have a delicious chicken sandwich that I like to get instead of the burger every once in awhile. Love the desserts, you can’t go wrong with anything sweet here!

Stopped by for a late night treat (shakes) since they’re ½ off. It was difficult to read the sign due to lighting conditions, so I asked the girl to tell me some of the flavors. She told me there were 25 flavors, but then only told me about 4. We picked two shakes and then I asked her again for more flavors and was given basically the same list of flavors. Needless to say, I don’t know what the other 20 flavors are.
Notwithstanding this miscommunication, we really did enjoy our shakes. I plan to return whenever I’m in the area.

Came here on a Sunday night with my nephew, as we were dying for ice cream. It was only around 10 PM and they were sold out! What???
Ended up getting cherry-​ade, which was good, but a sorry substitute for frozen goodness.

Probably the best service of any Sonic I have been to. I appreciate the discount on drinks they give you in the morning and that their morning crew is their best by far & give them 5 stars. The other crews are fine but not as consistent. Always prefer this location over the Pecan Grove one that is just as close.

This place is sort of a hit or miss.
The food is okay, but that’s not why you come here. We all come here for the same reason to order a big ass route 44 drink and down a chili dog with some friends.
Sometimes the staff is really cool. They will throw in a small oceanwater, and other times they will just be down right weird like offering me a route 44 cup of gravy. I actually know half the staff here and I can tell you they are all a great group of people.
The sad part is where this place is bad, it’s really bad. Sometimes the person they have working is in incompetent bimbo that doesn’t realize it’s possible NOT to put whip cream on my sonic blast when I order it that way, «but…it comes with whip cream» thanks princess… Then there’s the fact that they seem to just randomly close. I’ve gone over there at 9:45 and the lights where off, seriously?
For everyone here that’s awesome. Keep it up! You make this place great, but for the rest that cast a bad shadow on this place shape up! Im sick of having to drive to Pecan Grove because your to lazy to stay open past 10 on a summer. Get your act together.
