U-Haul Moving & Storage at Lombardy

I reserved a truck the day before and it was clean and ready the day of my move. Easy pick up and drop off. Staff was friendly. Couldn’t ask for more… First time I have used uhaul.

This review is for their storage only.
I am a mover so I see many different storage units.
The storage facility is clean, and average in quality. The problem with this location is the elevators and customer service.
You will fight the elevators every step of the way. The door will shut on you before you can even get a cart in the elevator. Its like they don’t understand that you load an elevator slower than you walk into it.
They also just began requiring a card to access each floor which can be a pain if you have help that will be in and out of the elevator separate from one another.
While the location is great. They pack so many trucks next to storage that it is difficult to find parking. The uhaul employees are rude when it comes to anything that is mot strictly picking up or returning trucks. Except little help from them.
If you hire movers for help expect for it to take twice as long due to what i mentioned above. You will also have to share the elevator with as many as 4 different parties.
Out of the 10 plus times i have worked inside the facility, the elevators have broken down at least 3 times. Which will delay your work by alot.
I give it 2 stars because it is clean and the location is very good for people within the city.
There are much better storage facility options that are comparable in price. Mini Price Storage on W Broad St is the best for climate controlled.

Awful experience here today. Waited 2 hours to get my truck. Was told that my storage unit would not be ²⁴⁄₇ access despite reserving one on the phone. Very frustrating given that I had hired movers for a specific time. Will not use again.

Terrible customer service. Never go there if you’re in a hurry, or if you just value the time you’ll spend waiting. It is a beautiful facility, but the people just don’t give a damn about what they’re doing there.

Horrible customer service. They do not know the definition of reservation. I will never us another U-​Haul product because of this location. Amy Cox and Brent would not take any responsibility for their horrible customer service.
