I heard a guy got killed their in back by 5 different people… The only good thing I heard was is that they have great poker their on Wednesday-Sundays and great drinks.

A Fortbend institution. No Yuppy bar here. Just real people sittin back, and talking about their day. Poker games and some nights, and great pool tables. Come out and Check it out.

This little bar has big heart. It seems like there’s always something fun going on. Nestled right next to Greatwood it feels like an extension of the neighborhood. Happy hour blocks from home and there’s always a friend inside to shoot the breeze with. I’d also mention that the games and pool tables are in great shape and the patio is awesome. Best Dive Bar in Houston!

Ok it’s smokey, it’s smelly, there is no beer on tap only bottle, and the restrooms may not be pristine, but GUESSWHAT! It’s a dive bar! And a pretty cool one at that, with a great outdoor area, a food truck, pool, and some seriously funny karaōke. So go ahead, let loose! That’s what dive bars are for!

This is a nice little bar that has classic«dive bar» status… The place is smokey, dirty, unorganized, unkept, no theme, cluttered and a little smelly! The mood of the bar is dictated by the lady bartender, you can tell the owner is CHEAP as there is no in house music, food, or sanitary conditions… I personally LOVE this bar and am a definite regular

DONOT… I REPEAT… DONOTOPEN A TABATTHISBAR. They will overcharge you preemptively in case you don’t have money on your card then they make you wait 3 – 5 business days. I like this place but i never really carry cash with with me. As far as I am concerned they are trying to scam their patrons with their credit card system and have no respect for their clientele. Once the odd ball charges went though my bank they shut off my debit card on a friday night leaving me screwed for the weekend. TREATTHISPLACEASSTRICTLYCASHONLY!!! IFYOUGOATALL.

Been there a few times only because it’s very close to where I live. The bar is kind of run down looking. Makes me scared to go into their bathroom. Drinks are ok. Definitely depends on which bartender you get. Prices are reasonable. No food though. You can smoke inside(although I think that might be only on certain days) so it gets pretty stinky in there. HUGE outside area with plenty of seating and even a couple of fire pits(which I think are awesome). There’s definitely an established clientele who come there and know each other and stick to their own groups… as in… dont expect to be chatting with friendly strangers over a beer. Mixed groups of people… from bikers to housewives. Some play cards, some play pool and over all atmosphere is ok. UPDATE/EDIT: I added a star because my friends and I got the crazy idea to roast some marshmallows and make s’mores over their firepits and they totally let us! lol We had a blast.

I live out in the Sugarland area(the burbs). I love going into the city, but lately I’ve been wanting to keep myself close to home, drink a cold one, have some laughs then call it a night. If you are out in Sugarland and want to try something different or stay close to home, head over to crabb river =) Its an icehouse. Don’t expect a posh interior, but most likely you didnt, with the tamale stand and state trooper sitting outside. Wear your sneaks/boots/stilletos bc you will run into cowboys, wannabe gangsters, desperate housewives, frat boys, and your ex-homecoming queens =) but thats all the reason to go. The bartenders are friendly, and when you get ready to order seconds, they greet you with«the same?» The place has picnic tables lined up inside, it can get a bit crowded & a little too smoky which is a downside. Let the DJ start the music, and you will see the melting pot of the above get to melting. haha!(corny) can I just say, music, makes the people come together… Ok, I digress. It also has a few arcade games, and one digital touch screen game in the corner which I coincidentally have the highest score(I should be so proud). Z-bar has a patio with an outdoor bar, lots of space, with a BBQ pit, and 2 firepits. It was great having a beer, hanging out with friends near the pit this past winter and I’m sure it’s going to be nice this spring. Overall, I say its A-OK by me.
