This place could be great but the quality of service will continue to prevent it. The management /owners are rarely on the floor, spending time in the kitchen from what I have observed which explains the great food. The problem is that the staff generally doesn’t understand how to take care of customers. Large parties will be lacking glasses land drinks, wake up guys. We recently attended a small gathering and the service was horrible which has become the norm at 850. A plea to the management, come out of the kitchen and ask your customers about their experience. Good could be great with some attention to details.

Favorite pizza/salad spot in ridgefield. The thin crust pizza is so amazing, I don’t think there is one I don’t like. Great tap selection and they use very specific liquor a for craft cocktails. Service is always outstanding, a great neighborhood feel. The owner in the kitchen is awesome, very accommodating to orders and quick service. The only thing I don’t like about this place is that they don’t deliver.

Best pizza in Ridgefield! The reason I give this 5 stars is because my daughters macaroni & cheese pizza tasted amazing! The service was great! The bartender was also nice and polite! The hot oil pepperoni & hot stinger pizza me and my son ordered was awesome!

Pizza is good! Love the 850 with the hot oil. I would have given them 4 stars, but every time I go there I order a beer and it is as flat as a pancake. I’ve probably been there 8 times since opening and the only time I didn’t get a flat Beer is the one time I ordered wine. I don’t get it. Fix the tap issue and this place is def 4 stars!

Incredible pizza! The most wonderful staff and perhaps the nicest eating venue in Ridgefield. The beautiful outdoor cobblestone patio during nice weather and the beautiful inner core are as delicious as the pizza itself!(Their buffalo wings are top shelf too!)Best venue in Ridgefield for great live music as well!

Ordered take out twice so far and both times we’ve really enjoyed the pizza. Love the large selection of specialty pizza’s, so many of them sound delicious. Even the gluten free pizza was good. Also it Looks like it would be a fun place to eat out in during the warmer months.

Here’s the deal. Expensive small pies for their size, but have to admit they are tastey. Service is spotty. Seating can be uncomfortable. Good place for families.

850 just catered a party for us for about 280“ish” people. Larry is very easy to communicate with and will guide you in the right direction for the amount of food needed, even if you don’t know to the T how many. Food was delivered hot and on time. This is the 4th time we’ve used him for a party and I am grateful that they are able to accommodate us. I always get rave reviews on the food!

The pizza is great. Thin and light dough … Try the wood fried pizza or a speciality. You won’t be disappointed!

The best pizza in Ridgefield. Quick, friendly, and good prices. Try the bar-style ultra thin for a treat.

A great lunch deal, we got a specialty pizza for $ 12.00. The mashed potato pizza is amazing! Everyone should order it, the fried mozzarella is crispy, cheesy. yummy! A great lunch spot in town.

Went to lunch and had an excellent pistachio pizza and a good Tuscan salad featuring roasted vegetables and arugula with a white balsamic vinaigrette. Our waitress was sweet and brought a nice bottle of ice water to the table. Nice.

This is a pizza place masquerading as wood fired thin crust place. They use the same Bari oven that Planet Pizza and every other pizza joint uses. Tap list is awful my guess is the owner is a Bud guy and wouldn’t know a good Micro if it fell on him. I am bashing only because the claims on the website are so outrageous the site must be describing Stanziato in Danbury. The white clam pizza was totally incinerated. 20 bucks tasteless. I actually threw it out my window going home by the slice hope a raccoon enjoyed it. This place is on death watch for me.

I absolutely LOVE it here! By far the best thin crust pizza I’ve ever had! It was a little bit disappointed when I found out they do not have a full bar. Only beer and wine. Four stars for the food! To be fair I have not tried anything other than the pizza but it really is that good that I’m hooked!

Great pizza! Really fun place and nice décor. The pizza is excellent. A little pricey but still great quality. The Russian Pizza is one of the best I’ve ever had. Will be a regular.

Pizza was ok. The crust was a little dry. And there wasn’t enough burrata in our prosciutto burrata pizza(burrata should kinda get all over the pizza when cut, right?). The arugula they topped the pizza with was ok. It wasn’t peppery like most arugula is. Seems like they bought it at some supermarket. But the music was awesome tonight. Everything seems ok all of a sudden because of the love music. I’ll be back for that.

Ate here for lunch today and I was quite surprised with my food after reading all the reviews. Reviews said that the pizza was not worth the price or worth the visit. I had the margarita pizza and added bacon to it. One review said that the margarita pizza was not made properly the way it should have been but mine was. Service was friendly and prompt. As for the quality and portion size of the food it was well worth the price; one pizza can easily satisfy someone’s hunger. This place is comparable to Stanziattos in danbury. What is nice is that you have the option to choose from three different pizza styles. Ny style, wood fired, or thin bar crust. I will be coming here again next time I’m in the mood for thin crust pizza and to further explore their Menu.

850 Wood Fired Pizza is located down the alley to the right of Fifty Coins in downtown Ridgefield. The interior is very well done with eight wooden booths and four high top tables in the first room and an equal number of seats in the rear room. There are several TVs on the wall, giving the space a pubby, sports bar feel. They did a very good job on decorating. There are also some tables on the front terrace that would be a good location in much warmer weather. There is an interesting array of condiments on the table. In addition to the normal salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and grated cheese, 850 also serves Tabasco sauce. There are four styles of pizza, Wood Fired Red, Wood Fired White, Traditional Oven and Ultra Thin Bar Style. Salads and a few pastas are also available. I ordered a Wood Fired Red Margherita with tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil and olive oil. This pie needs a lot of work. The crust, although thin, was a cracker crust, not Neapolitan(as stated on the web site) in any sense, ultra-crispy and unpliable and very bland. The tomato sauce, on the other hand was overwhelming in flavor. It was more a peppery tomato paste than a pizza sauce. There was some cheese that melted into the background on taste and a few leaves of basil. I did not like the pizza at all. The staff is very young and needs a lot of training. When I asked what the difference was between the«fresh Mozzarella» and the«Mozzarella Cheese»(as stated on the menu) I drew a blank stare. When I paid my $ 12.50 bill with a twenty-dollar bill she asked if I wanted change. Overall, with a lot of other choices in the area, I think I’ll take a pass on returning until some significant changes occur.
