I ate here 3 times. The first time was ok– nothing special. The next two times were just worse and worse. Questionable fish quality, very uncreative rolls. But the fish quality is what gets me. The tuna and yellowtail both looked and tasted odd. I stopped eating because I was afraid of getting sick. I live in town so kept trying it in hopes of finding a good local spot. No luck.

Excellent sushi and very reasonable compared to other local sushi restaurants. Try the spicy crunch roll.

When you first walk in, you realize it’s a very small restaurant with very simple décor BUT don’t let that fool you! It seems to be family owned and run and they definitely make you feel at home. We ordered the spicy tuna roll, sweet potato roll, AAA roll, and a spicy california roll and they were all amazing! So fresh and very well stuffed(they don’t skimp out on their fish)! We saw the waiter bringing out this really good looking roll to the table next to us so we asked what it was. He explained it to us(kamikazee roll) but we had already ordered so we said next time we will definitely try it. When we asked for the check, the waiter brought us a kamikazee roll and said the chef had heard us talking about it so he wanted us to try it! I thought that was so sweet and the roll was delicious! And they deliver! Can’t wait to go again!

I must say for being a small mom and pop place the owners are very attentive! I recently moved from L.A. where good sushi is not an issue, this has been the best place I’ve found so far. The fish is fresh and serving sizes are plentiful. I’m not one for saucy rolls, I prefer sushi and fresh fish rolls and I have been pleasantly surprised! I even ventured out into the saucy rolls and the dynamite was FANTASTIC! My lips burned for a good while! I loved it! I usually come alone and the chef is very friendly and I appreciate him understanding I’m home sick and chatting me up. I did order to go once but it’s just not the same, but I enjoy the restaurant and the staff!

Natalia and myself have visited here about three times total. Let me start off about the restaurant itself. It is very clean and modern. It is small as most sushi places are and is a close little place to take out from. The first two times we got Ms Sushi everything was well. I frequent the chicken teriyaki rolls. For 5.95 you receive 6 rolls and a side of chicken teriyaki with mixed vegetables quite a good deal. The chicken quality was good unlike a lot of Japanese/Korean places I’ve encountered. My only complaint is not enough chicken in the roll itself. I will say their clear soup is one of the best I’ve had. It is very good and full of flavor. Natalia has tried a few different rolls this far however her complaint was that this recent time the fish just was not fresh. It tasted and had a funny smell and she discontinued to eat it. This seems to be an issue when sushi places just don’t have enough business and keep sushi too long. I am not sure if they are struggling or not it seems to be a nice place but serving sushi that has gone bad is not acceptable. We probably won’t be going back unless maybe for a clear soup but not for sushi.

The sushi here is great! They have a nice selection of special rolls that we wouldn’t have found elsewhere. From first glance at the place it doesn’t look like much, but don’t let that fool you. The staff is really nice and helpful as well.

It was OK. I didn’t like the avocado because it was too young. The fish didn’t taste fresh when I 1st went there. But every time I go to Kazuki, its always fresh.

Thought I’d try a new place for lunch today and enjoyed some simple tuna sushi pieces that were very yum. I’m not a big sushi eater for starters, so I can only comment that my very basic order of 4 pieces was fresh and prepared in just a few minutes as I waited in the modest little restaurant shortly after they opened. The staff were all friendly and the chef prepared a few extra pieces for me that I enjoyed as much as the ones I ordered myself. ;) The prices are good and they will even deliver with a minimum order of $ 25. I see myself going back for more tuna sushi in the very near future. Perhaps I may be brave enough to try something else one day soon.

Excellent sushi! The specialty rolls are some of the most aesthetically pleasing rolls I’ve seen — more importantly they’re delicious. The staff/owners are lovely as well.

So i decided to try a new sushi place for take out since my favorite place in Fort Lee called Picnic is under construction. This place is 5 minutes away from where i work so i figure why not drop in after i finish. Figured I would try their«crazy» roll since the guy was already making one as i entered, and i was intrigued by the use of the bunsen burner that he used to flambé the top… very cool…(reminded me of college science lab lol)… that and i’m CRAZY so it was befitting… anyhow. took it home and must say it was pretty good… it had a nice smokey and spicy flavor. the portion was good, fish was fresh… my only recommendation would be that it needed some kind of crunch element in order to add to the textural complexity of the sushi… yes i am a sushi snob lol… so i would recommend putting either a bit of crunch in the center, or perhaps some sesame seeds around the perimeter of the rice… next time i am there i will ask them to do this. since i am definitely coming back to try some of their other rolls!

I’ve had better sushi than the ones here. The sushi didn’t taste fresh at all especially the seaweed. The service wasn’t good and it wasn’t even busy.

This place is small in terms of space, but big in heart fresh unique special rolls worth putting your taste buds on the front line. You won’t be disappointed, it’s great!

Eat here last night, they have the freshest, most delicious sushi I have ever had. Very interesting and creative rolls. Family run, wonderful hospitality. I have always felt at home. We eat here every few weeks, always the best.

It’s a small local sushi restaurant. I visited on weekend evening, we were the only one who came in for dining. It’s run by Korean family. Parents works at sushi bar and kitchen, daughter works for serving customers. Dinning area was generally dark. Not much of atmosphere I can think about. Honestly I wasn’t much enjoying being dinning there. I ordered shrimp ball for appetizer, kamikaze roll, spicy crunch roll, etc. My favorite was kamikaze roll. Foods were delicious. I liked it. But service was so slow. I had to walk to sushi bar straight to order extra stuffs. I’ll love to order stuffs to go, but I have to think twice before dining there.

Monday of this week I had gone the entire day without eating anything. It was about 5PM as I was driving down Kinderkamack Rd. Famished, I decided to pull in to Ms. Sushi for a 5PM meal. Based on my prior experience with over-ordering three rolls, I ordered two. Paired with a green salad with their made freshly-made dressing the meal was Both fresh and delicious as well as perfectly satisfying. This is a great location for a quick Sushi meal when you have the craving, but do not want to go through the whole ordeal of sitting down for a lengthy meal. I have grown to use it as a healthy alternative to fast food.

I’m not impressed at all with my first impression of Ms Sushi. Ordered Salmon Don, which was described as a dinner served with soup and salad. It came(delivery) with only soup, which really lacked flavor. The salmon was half cooked and warm, as the rice was served hot. This made for an unpleasant combo. Sake don is my go-to at sushi places, but I’ve never had this effect before. It was also served with a strawberry. Really? The others were not all that impressed with their selections either. Perhaps they’re better to dine-in than delivery, but I’m not sure if I’ll take another shot at this one.

Cute spot with decent prices! It gets packed really quickly especially since theres barely any seats. The New York Roll was good– simple, but different from what ive ever had. Sit yourself at the«bar» and enjoy some laughs with the man who makes the sushi himself!

Decided to try this place because of the positive comments on Unilocal. My friend, who I haven’t seen in months, decided we should get dinner at a sushi place. I personally don’t really like sushi, but I will go if pushed. We sat at the sushi bar and were given water and hot green tea right away. We ordered four rolls with the chef. The sushi was AMAZING! We ordered a cucumber roll, chicken teriyaki roll, spicy tuna roll, and a shrimp tempura. Each were 6 pieces & the chicken teriyaki came with some chicken and mixed veggies on top. When we were almost finished the chef gave us a roll on the house!!! Not sure what it was, it had shrimp, avocado, & cucumber. There were slices of fish on top with teriyaki sauce which the chef lit up with a hand torch, never seen anything like it! WOWAMAZING!!! Can’t wait to go back!!! And to top it off the bill only came to $ 20 for both of us!!!

Came here for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon by myself. It’s a nice place, easy to find. Walked in to find out I was the only one. The host was taking a nap on a table when I walked in. She got up and quickly sat me. She was very friendly and so was the sushi chef. I ordered a miso soup and Philadelphia roll. The miso soup was alright. The seaweed in the soup was very hard to chew. It wouldn’t break apart which was very weird and it had a sour taste. The Philadelphia roll was delicious even though the salmon didn’t taste fresh. The rolls are big so the six is enough to fill one up. The ginger was super dry though. Great service though.
